My user name is 2 letters short of my user name here and I did send them an Email last night on their protected email adress... So they could have matched my email with my registration details on their site. Not to hard tbh. Ofc, this is nothing but speculation :]

Any news I get and the status of my payout i'll keep posting regardless. Now to look for a safer place to put my BTC in :]

Hi Draxon, could you share what did you sent them ? And to which email ? The one from the whois DNS record ?

Thanks

lol what a support ticket. They must be raking in some massive amounts of cash still after going non paying for all the elaborate stall tactics - being bought out lol by imaginary hedge funds and legacy funds, and technical issues.

Problem is this one avoided the HYIP association pretty well by a scammy admin - so a lot of these people had no idea they were playing a HYIP. If you don't know you are playing a HYIP get ready to get scammed hard.

I gave up getting any of my BTC1.8 back after 2 very polite support tickets weeks ago and no response at all.
So on May 2 I put in a withdrawal request for the remaining bitcoin balance of about .06 BTC.
The request was canceled today.  Still no reply or comment from admin at all.  No explanation.
They're canceling withdrawal requests for some but refunding others.

They are afraid of being confronted by law enforcement, and rightly so b/c they accepted dollar deposits and their identity can be discovered via those services, it's plain and simple. So they stop dollar deposits and lay low for a while, while letting small amounts of withdrawals trickle out, until they perceive that things have quieted down enough that they can disappear. If people want to have any shot at justice and/or getting their funds back, they should start filing complaints with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3 - http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx). Their identity can be easily discerned via administrative subpoena to one or more of the companies they've accepted dollar deposits through. I'm just sayin'.

After they canceled my withdrawal request, my balances are:
BITCOIN BALANCE: 1.7784
BITCOIN BALANCE: 0.0679

I can accept that I risked my money and lost it.  What makes me
upset enough to hire someone to track them down is simply their
brazen refusal to even reply to a single support request or explain
why they're refusing to allow even such a small withdrawal.

Just wanted to remind people that hyip admins also purchase hosting and anti ddos services anonymously.

This is why you will see hosting services, etc that host multiple HYIP's.

I guess this is nothing else than a scam. I have at least 2 other friends that have more than 2 btc there and no good news for them...and the selective payout is something they are doing to chill the souls a bit...I am amazed how even some small withdrawal coming from legacy transfers was rejected....

Another withdrawal received. Not to defend these scammers, but at least they haven't completely disappeared like Karpeles and MTGOX.

This site has been marked as a possible scam site on Litecointalk.org, if it hasnt been done yet I suggest doing the same so others dont deposit and lose their money.

That is like comparing apples and oranges. MtGox is an actual company, can actually file for bankruptcy and the people are known and was a huge part of Bitcoin.

btc-arbs is nothing more than a crappy attempt at making a HYIP - and either sheer greed or stupidity made them go scam in a matter of weeks.

I've received my withdrawal from the non-legacy account. It was about 3.7% of my total deposit. It took 4 hours. It is a very strange way to run a scam.

I received this...

Thank you for your message. As the new owners of BTC-Arbs we are happy to hear from you and are interested in hearing any suggestions that you may have. We are aware that the "Legacy Fund" method of doing things isn't ideal for some members, however it is the best way to ensure that all of our books are in order as we begin to move forward. As you will see, we have already started to transfer a portion of the Legacy Funds back to the main balance. Furthermore, we have processed all withdrawals that we have received.

We would appreciate your patience during this transition. A manual verification of the funds within the system is necessary, particularly due to the fact that there were a number of issues that arose as a direct result of the Heartbleed bug.

Further information regarding this transition will be provided in the coming days, along with information about our acquisition of an official investment license. We currently have no accurate timeframe for the entire process to be completed.

Sincerely,
Ron James & The Global Capital Alliance

They are consistently 1% or below now, regardless of market conditions. They also seem to be on a totally different time zone, as we are getting Monday's update on Sunday. In the past, it has been done on the same day (west coast US) in the late afternoon.
