The best app to do such things is Zoom! Zoom is very good software to make a meeting or conversation with a lot of people at a time. But KYC Verification by a video call is not a good decision and it will be very hard to make actually. Because 3-4K people invest in an ICO project, more than 4K people participate in their bounty, so, how can they verify KYC by video call with everyone? This will be a lengthy and very difficult and I don't think any ICO will go through it.

It's hard to think how will be possible that video call will use for kyc because thousands are joining in bounties and ICO they need more team to do that so I think it will not possible because team is busy to improve their project unless they afford to pay people to make a video call in every participants.

I agree with this, video call is not effective, if we think about more than 3000 participant bounty, do you think dev and team will waste time to doing video call to all bounty hunter?? Of course not. This also violate krypto rules which should be anonymous. One of reason people love crypto because anonymous but video call make it useless

This is really a serious issue to be honest , why will it be that serious to use video as a mode of kyc all in the name of buying it hunting for a token , well the kyc issue is now becoming more serious everyday by day and many are afraid to upload their data on net for buying or hunting for token and feel not save cause they never know what could happen to their data and also don't trust the founder which I see as a fact too , and the founders also claiming the need it to stop money laundering using the funds to buy their token , so I think they both are right and who ever feel safe e should go ahead and if you don't then never give out your details.

video call for kyc is a more secure way but it is also more tedious on both parties as it requires both to be online at the same time. regular kyc requires only documents. these docs can be copied from other docs in the net. that means using other people's identity as yours.

Are you kidding me? A video call for verification? I don't know where did you get that idea from but basically you know that the main reason why we need to do kyc is for us to ensure the authenticity of documents and in bounty to ensure that you are not cheating. You can hire people to do verification for you if tgat idea of yours will be implemented as sending docs will be a risk for identity.

I think it is good attempt for verification and documents are also not required for it but do they have enough time to do this it will take lots of time to call every participant and it is also not possible for every person also I don't think so they will think about it.

This is only method to make sure user are not bot and have positive mindset/ action about the project, ICO just want the real audiences. As member/ user can get their payment/ services I think everything will be fine, just follow it. Mostly, every develop team already prepare what should we do to finish video call for KYC, no big deal.

I think video calling for KYC verification is a very dangerous thing. If the other party is a scammers or other criminal, the video call means that the other party has seen you, and your true identity (including appearance) is all exposed to the eyes of the criminals, who may use this information to do anything in the future.
This is a terrible thing, you will lose all your privacy！

Video calls are good, but they are quiet long. It takes about 20-30 minutes to pass KYC, you will speak with an operator and he will tell you what he needs to approve your KYC.

indeed, with kyc video call, it would be better than having to upload personal data, but maybe that would be ruled out by an ico's development team because it would take a long time compared to kyc that requires personal data. so just let the development team from ico decide what kyc should do.

Video Call for KYC verification is possible, but you still need to upload your document and doing a video call verification, I've tried once before, that's a crypto exchange, they decided don't serve my country customer and want me pass the KYC + Video Call verification to withdrawal my assets, so it's won't let you easy pass the KYC , even more troublesome doing one more step

Video Call KYC Verification is not possible, it takes more time than the usual, takes more manpower to cater all participants of the KYC and unnecessary for old KYC is great, even though KYC at the moment is not yet regulated that privacy might be an issue. And for the secure app, none? It would risk more participants rather than the usual one which just takes you to submit your photos.

That is a lot of work. There are assessments before approving someone's KYC and what the company wants I think is documents, you cannot present videos on the bank.

I think verification using personal documents is enough. no need to do a video call just for KYC, because it's very troublesome. Even now, verification of Kyc with documents is still a lot of complaints.

The document verification can be manipulated. But I will agree if this KYC verification should be applied for the ico team. Use video call as KYC verification will take a lot of time and effort. We have already applied another way for that just like sign a massage on your photo that explained if that is you.

Doing video call for KYC I think is a very hassle thing to do. If you have a thousand persons to verify then it will take a lot of time. I think document verification is enough.
