Yes it could be the best way but who really wants it? I came into this market because you can work and act anonymously and that was something new and great for me. Lately the KYC procedure came out and we forced to give our identity to the projects. And now Video calls for verification.. This is nnot good and i would not show my face to someone online. I think i would pass if i have to do that. It is not ethic..

i hard to do, but video call for KYC i think that you can use when you forget the password you wallet or change some data, i still agree when KYC what we do, used doc like passport, id card, or other to verification i just think that idea not enough good to do

One of the big exchanges practiced this kyc video call method some time ago, they request a check when user loses his/her phone and needs to reset g2f.

I think I would have preferred this form of verification to documents upload. They can use this means to avoid double registration if that is the reason for the kyc.

Is this too much for every participants of the ICO?
Being assigned to pass KYC with those public documents or National ID is being dangerous on your side.
Then a video call will get more approval that documents are meant to be yours and can be sold in public.

I always have a categorically negative attitude towards KYC because I have always believed and still think that such processes kill your anonymity and security on the network. It is not fair and not serious.

Video won't be used because it takes up more storage space than a simple photo. Also you need more people to process it which takes more time and money. The stellar airdrop required video KYC but it was a huge company so they can do it whereas new companies cannot

I participated in one bounty and there was a KYC through a video call! I really didn’t like it, I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone who showed me my documents to him. and another problem in time zones ...

To me  video call for KYC wouldn't be a bad one but they should make sure that it's very well perfected before they introduce it so they won't go about wasting precious time

Having KYC via video calling is already absurd and not necessary. I think selfie holding your card is already enough and some exchanges and ICO's are now implementing it. Also why would the developer waste a time to video calling their hundreds of investors and it's a waste of time. Unless you are the advisor or an angel investor.

 Video call for KYC verification sounds  very funny , i dont think it will work , the selfie thats is being used right now is okay.  what if the person is indisposed when the call is being placed? Video calls for KYC is not  it  realistic atall.

It will be so much easier and less stressful if that can surely be. A face snap move with recognition moving video and that if another requirement does not follow it equivalent to the previous asked questions when kyc. Just feel it will be a normal good thing for buyers and hunters

I passed video KYC only once, when I received stellar airdrop and they required to pass it on blockchain info.
As for me it was quite simple, I must just to pronounce numbers and turn my head, nothing special!

I think that there is no difference between a video call or sending your data, because in any case you will provide a lot of data and passport, too. Video call is usually used to check KYC.

I don't think that's the best option. Video call to pass KYC will be very difficult to organize and no one will do it. It is much more convenient to send documents.

Until now, KYC verification using video calls has not been used. I see that many Bounty projects that use KYC only upload personal data. I think this video call is very difficult to use and of course, it costs a lot.

I have a great doubt about coordinating a video call KYC effectively. Sticking to sending required document is very much flexible. If the person is not available while the call is been made. What happens?

It will be very problematic, I think. Documents we can send at any time, and for a video call will have to choose a certain time everyday and call all participants. It's a little difficult I think.
