Video call for KYC verification

This is not all that bad but the process might take a lot of time and I don't think the idea would be adopted, even if it is scam projects will always look for a way around this. We just have to be careful

KYC verification is bad, in every way, no matter you send documents or you do video verification.

Actually Video Calls for KYC are not necessary, because by sending photos of documents or identity cards with photos of yourself holding the ID card is enough.  Really now KYC has really become a serious problem.

For  sure crypto is good and this is also reality that for purchasing KYC is important. Each system and some rules to use it I am happy that I am safe as an investor and I never get back from taking any step for the certainty of the projects. I never will feel hesitation while doing this video call to give my KYC.

Yes with video call, we can prevent the thief from using our data for their own. Compared to documents, it is way more safer and easier. I have seen so many people trying to sell their costumer's data in form of document, but until now. I never see one of them selling their costumer's video call.

I don’t think that is a good idea.This is a very laborious event. There are investors, there are hunters, some projects have more than 5-10 thousand users in their chats. I came across such a video call on a small new exchange. There were a lot of requirements, starting with good video camera characteristics, lighting. I wasn't  able to transmit the video image for identification, having spent a lot of my time on it.

Your opinion about using video call for KYC won't be feasible because it requires a lot of man power. Imagine the team doing the KYC calling about 1000 persons for instance, don't you think it will be extremely hectic? Unless maybe automated robots will carry out that function which will still have lapses. I know of video verification but it's not video call. Like the one done by Blockchain.com for XLM airdrop KYC and also Binance KYC via app.

I find video calls for KYC uncomfortable for users, at least for me. In my opinion, a selfie and a photo of certain documents are enough for KYC. It is easier for users.

I agree with your opinion. I think a slie, photo and NID are sufficient for KYC. Video call for KYC is not sutiable for us. It will take more time for users.

Recently, I have chatted with a support from an exchange, and he could easily take my KYC photos. I was shocked. An employee can take the personal data of users. Who knows what they will do with our private data, for other personal purposes.
I'm really worried, and probably won't use any platform that requires KYC.
