Looks like I stuck at #13 for today. But at least that's down from being #188 first thing this morning! EDIT: Looks like Eleuthria worked overtime packing and shipping.... Mine shipped today! but nothing for international order since 2 week now. !!!

What's wrong with eu-stratum eleuthria? All the other servers works except the one that matters the most to me.

Yes, USPS is a lot faster than people would have you believe. Glad to hear it all arrived! Update for backordered users: 600 units arrived today. Shipping information will start getting posted Sunday evening and Monday morning. My goal is that the 600 units will all be out the door by Tuesday. For more recent backorders (July 10th & later), orders will likely ship on Thursday & Friday, since the next batch of inventory is set to arrive around Wednesday. Unless some big orders hit, that batch should be the first one that leaves the store with enough inventory to fill new orders.

Is btcguild down for the moment? I can't mine right now. I hope it is just pool being down temporarily and not an internal issue.

My miners are mining away okay. M I noticed the pool's GH just took a major nose dive so I thought it could be a pool issue.

There was an attack on the pool. It may still be ongoing. My alarms woke me up and I'm currently working on setting up proxies to absorb/deflect the attack.

So I'm not the only one that was woken up by an attack... *sigh*

I guess the attack is still going on. My account shows zero shares for the last six shifts, while my miner has been mining steadily during that time. //Maybe I spoke too soon. Seems this shift the shares are being counted again!

Block Erupter Update:
This weekend I had to take some time off for friends & family, and then being sick for most of Sunday. Woke up around 10 PM Sunday evening, started working around 1 AM on testing Erupters.
I've updated the order status page for users who were marked as Backordered, indicating the expected Ship Dates. I've also updated those who were far back in the backorder line, identifying when they are expected to ship (mostly based on when I receive that inventory). Unless some huge orders hit this week, Block Erupters should become available for shipping within 24 hours of ordering by the week of July 22.

Stratum servers were restarted for a brief update to help strengthen them against an application-level denial of service. Sorry for the lack of warning before the restart.

350 Block Erupters going out the door today. If your tracking is showing weird information from October, please ignore it. I'm assuming it will show the proper information once it gets scanned in at the local post office. All tracking numbers posted to orders are cut and paste directly from the postage software.
UPDATE: Some brief googling indicates that this isn't entirely uncommon, and that tracking information should correct itself within 24 hours of being scanned at a USPS Sorting Facility.

3 shifts ~= 2h 10m. It is not uncommon to not have a block for 2-3 hours. Open shifts aren't done getting paid for block solves. The number that matters is how many blocks are solved when the shift is closed.

Hi,
My mining proxy is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to the eu-stratum server and my cgminer workers are often rejecting shares due to 'lowdifficulty'.
When my proxy does submit shares, they rocket over to the server between 14-30ms.
I have just left Slush and everything was working was working well over there, just wondering if there is something I am doing wrong, perhaps an extra flag I need to specify? Or perhaps the pool is having issues at the moment?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Proxy version 1.5.2 and cgminer version 3.1.1
Thanks.

No issues visible on the pool. It sounds like cgminer is considering the server dead due to frequent rejects (lowdifficulty). Are you turning on a HUGE amount of hash power at once? If so, consider increasing your minimum difficulty settings to reflect that so the server starts you out higher than diff=1. The pool is very aggressive at initial difficulty tuning, but I can imagine a large farm connecting through a single cgminer instance might get disconnected due to a huge number of diff=1 lowdifficulty rejects. Send me a PM with a few more details and I'll see if I can help set you up.

The hot wallet got very low due to some large withdrawals recently. Since the last loss of coins, I've been purposely keeping the wallet much lower. A few users that were carrying large balances withdrew in the last 24 hours, which caused the problem.
Over the next 10 minutes I will be manually processing the failed transactions.
Update: All failed payouts have been manually re-issued. Transaction ID + Blockchain.info links will now link you to the completed transactions. Sorry for the trouble, and I hope you all understand the security reasons for why these payouts failed.

Update to USB Block Erupter Policy
Going forward, future units will no longer be individually tested prior to shipping. This was originally done to protect users from receiving a Dead on Arrival unit (~1% chance). I would hate to wait 1-2 weeks after ordering, only to receive a dead unit, and then wait another 1-2 weeks to return the unit + get a new one back, during which time difficulty will have increased again.
The new policy is as follows:
1) Units will be shipped out untested until orders slow down enough to where testing individual units is not going to slow down shipping. This will speed up clearing out the backlog significantly. 2) If a unit arrives and does not work, you will pay return shipping of the defective unit. 3) I will test the defective unit when it arrives. If it works without issue on my testing system, I will not reimburse for return shipping, but will ship another brand new unit back. 4) If the unit is confirmed defective, you will be reimbursed for return shipping, AND the two weeks of mining revenue that you lost while waiting during the return process.
The above eliminates the unfair burden of ending up in the unlucky ~1% of defective units without the requirement of testing every unit prior to shipping. Your unit will be replaced, and you will receive a reimbursement equal to what you would have earned if the unit had been mining the entire time.
