I don't think it would be applicable to all though. Different people have different plans and interest in their lives and we cannot teach something that's not in their track 'cause they just won't learn anything they didn't wanna learn in the first place. Maybe we can teach it to business related courses, but the whole idea of bitcoin trading and market is pretty much similar to stock trading. The only thing a 'bitcoin course' would teach is the technology behind the blockchain itself, which for me, doesn't need to be learned from school as a whole semester but maybe attending seminars regarding the matter.

Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

Maybe your prediction will come soon.  After all cryptocurrency is the future of our world.  Because of globalization why we need to adapt it also especially those youth because soon they are the one who will develop it more.  It is just like today cryptocurrency is just starting but soon this word will become normal only in the world because everyone of us know it and used it.

Cryptocurrency is often known about by majority through casual and informal ways which brings so many questions to its legitimacy and realness but I think there is a better way to acquaint people with crypto other than  incorporating it into our school curriculum and that is through seminars that offers classes in crypto and Blockchain technology

It is still not acceptable in all countries. so it's possible to make crypto as lessons are still not fully applies. but to be honest this is the longer it will be important to study mainly for parts of the economy. in the long term, this is an asset and technology is good enough and certainly at least to start early on possessed and studied.

I believe that sooner or later, this cryptocurrency will become part of learning topics in schools in the near future. Cryptocurrency will soon be part of the global currency and therefore, people will soon be using and patronize these currencies to be use in the payment system which is already starting to be operational in some countries. I think that it is very necessary to be introduce in schools and universities starting in high school and college level to have awareness on the students.

Cryptocurrency is essentially a game only. The new Blockchain is real technology, and blockchain can grow without cryptocurrency, that's for sure. Teaching about cryptocurrency at school does not make sense.
How is it a game ? because there's manipulation ? Without Bitcoin there would be no blockchain.

Cruptocurrency is very complex in nature, understanding its origin, its purpose were really hard to understand even most people in the forum considering it is continually developing.

So, how could you teach them in schools?
Apply in colleges that offers these kind of courses and you'll know how. Nothing is hard if you're willing to learn. It only becomes hard if you don't have any experience with technology which would require more time to understand the basics and get used to before moving in to cryptocurrencies.

Possible but there's advantages and disadvantages if this will happen, maybe in college but not in primary and secondary for now it is hard to implement in school since the cryptocurrency is not controlled by government.

Lucky are those generations if this is added to the school system because they will be guided on many ways of how to properly earn thru Trading / Investment and so with doing bounties if and if start up companies still offering bounty campaigns.

It is the advantages of students!

I don't see any burning need to include cryptocurrency within the education curriculum, let's face it they don't even teach how the banking system operates there currently. Including blockchain technology would make a sensible inclusion in Computer Science studies but beyond that I would say a firm NO

I think electronic money is being taught in a number of universities in the United States such as Cambridge. But we need to know that Cryptocurrency is not a field that can easily make money. So it only applies to universities and I support this. I believe blockchain will be the future of the world and help a lot for the big business.

Why would they teach cryptocurrency in schools? It is not that hard to grasp really, you can learn it by yourself alone at home.

Well, this is not an easy task. Honestly, Cryptocurrency is still in the "grey area" in my country.
So, I think its hard to do it, especially in my country.

For me on Cryptocurrency to be taught in schools? i am 100 percent agree, why? so that student can already choose what would be they want for their future, and it happens that like me or some like me too whose lack of knowledge  in crypto, it would much better if we learned it in actual teaching than learning by exploring online, many question will answered in this case.

Yes, that really is a great idea. I feel everyone should have some knowledge about cryptocurrency. Not only will it broaden our mindsets but also teach us about the good coins like ParagonCoin, Cardano and Stellar.

I think it's a great idea! well, at least, what is blockchain, bitcoin, ethereum and smart contracts can be included in the school program. Although the question remains, in what school subject) Possible,  Finance. I was very happy to get such knowledge.I think it's a matter of time. If cryptocurrencies gain a foothold in our world , then with a probability of 99% they will be included in the school or university program.

Many things we can't learn in the school it's fact. If crypto course in the school then also I don't think it impact much. Because we get just normal basic info and can't learn practically. This types of things we can learn with good manner just while doing. In the schools who gonna allowed to take risk or allow to dive in the market.

Definitely I agree with you.  It is not necessary that cryptocurrency will be taught in school. There are a lot of things that much important to teach in our school. Maybe we can conduct symposium and training so that people can know cryptocurrency. For me, experience is much more important in cryptocurrency to become expert on it.

I do not agree that crypto currency be taught in school as it is not logical
Not everyone is meant to be a doctor or teacher
Hence, crypto currency is not meant for everyone
There’s not a need or reason for teachings

I've listened to a couple of crypto podcasts and some of he guests, who work in the crypto industry said that they have first learned about Bitcoin and Blockchain from some classes that were thought ar their universities. So o think that crypto being thought in schools it's a really possible idea, especially if it will become mainstream.

If most people accept it and start believing it, then it will be introduced into education. Putting something into education is not easy. At present we can only study individual classes by knowledgeable people
