Can you add stop lost by %spread of market?

Ex. Sell All if % market spread > 3% and %price < -5%

This is a composition of 2 limit

Sell All if % market spread > 3% and %price < -5%

What is % PRice? You mean Reference price and current market pricE?

I'm not see different on stop lost refer from Reference price and market price. After I try to check it depend on reference price.
So that's why. I request to refer from % market spread and % reference price.

Sorry, i read fast and i  make confusion between stop loss and market price limit rules.
We are talking about stop loss

There are 2 kinds of stop loss
1 - Based on Current Market Price
2 - Based on PONG Reference price.

And they are VERY different. so if you need clarification please ask me.

You wrote me 2 stop loss :

Sell All if % market spread > 3%

You mean sell all if % between best current market prices is > 3%?
So a stop loss that doesn't check anything about your current Pong? But only market conditions?

%price < -5%

Can you make me a real example?

Many of my Ping orders (and some Pong) orders have the status "Death". This happens after running CAT for a day or longer.

I assume "Death" means the order is no longer listed on the exchange. Is that correct?

Can someone explain in more detail what happens with these orders? Are they relisted? Will they disappear from CAT eventually?

Dead order coul happens in different ways, it depends by the exchange you're trading on.
I think you're on Poloniex right?
First question is : how much is the remaining QTY of the Order?

Yes, Poloniex.

Remaining QTY is mostly a high percentage of the original order (>50%).

What I have noticed is that many of these "Death" orders are listed at BUY prices above the current market SELL price, or at a SELL price that is lower than the current market BUY price. Meaning, therefore, that the order are no longer listed on Poloniex (if they were, they would fill immediately).

Poloniex is an exchange where the API Call MyTrades return the Trade related to your Order.

Example
Order X Sell 100@Y
If order is filled with 2 trade : 60@Y and 40@Y in MyTrades call you will find 2 Trade : T1 OrderId X and T2 OrderId X

Death order happens when Order Is No Longer on the exchange, but MyTrades doesn't return the Trade that fills your order.
And this seems a problem on poloniex side, because CAT is waiting for a number of trades where the Sum will be equal to the OrderQty.

I can add an option in the future like "Consider Death Order as Trades", there's nothing much than i can do when an Api doesn't returns all the values i need.

If you want you can send me the Market Log and i will take a look

Can anyone confirm that CAT has actually given them the profit it reports?

I have been running CAT for about 2 weeks now. While CAT reports a net profit practically all coins have been traded at net loss according to the trade history on Poloniex. The net loss is significantly higher than the net profit reported by CAT.

It has been very difficult for me to establish the reasons for this discrepancy, as I am trading across 30+ markets and CAT is ping-ponging frequently.

Someone here mentioned that the trade history and analysis is buggy on Polo. I don't see that it makes any mistakes, however.

Maybe I should be a little more systematic and let CAT run on just 1-2 markets for a while... Still, would be nice to hear peoples' experiences.

i don't think you can compare the gain from cat VS the gain report of poloniex.

CAT gain is the mathematical gain between a buy and sell order (without fees)

Example SELL 5@100->Buy 5@90 -> Gain = (Total Sell - Total Buy - Buy Fees - Sell Fees)

You can also have gains but a final total portfolio value < starting portfolio value. This can occurs if you trade on market where values decrease (and you let CAT continue trading without put any price limit)
On the other side, you can have final total portfolio value > starting portfolio value but only a part of this increase is thanks to CAT, another part is a simple market value increase.

Video tutorials would be greatly appreciated!

Trying my first steps with C.A.T. right now, loooots of parameters, bit overwhelming for me :-)

I used to work with Quatloo Trader before.

Stupid beginner question: If I just want to sell a coin I´m holding for a specific minimum price and place orders starting from there right below the ask in that range, can this be done with C.A.T.?

https://picload.org/image/ropwogii/quatloo.jpg

Any way to realize this with C.A.T. please?

If you want to set a fix price you can set your ping as STATIC
Then the Pong could be STATIC (if you set STATIC MODE) or Dynamic.
Dynamic will use the % GAIN to calculate your price.
If you want to have your PONG in top of orders book you can set a % Gain of -99% (in other words you're telling CAT to trade always on top)

Is this what you need?

you are still mining with usb sticks like block erupters? Seriously, if you want to make profit, stop doing that.
They are not profitable anymore. Since a long time ago! They cost way more money on power usage than the return in mining.
