Hi, my bot is making a statical loss by analysing the trades from Binance trade data, but the bot is showing a massive statical gain.

Had about 800 bounces in a day on XMR/ETH and still making a loss how? I will post the data here for people to help me analyse later today.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1w7bm2kuVFklWtD27eg5PkTL_CYHQf94kk-jZqSTZ2E4/edit?usp=sharing

Here is the raw data for XMR/ETH

The weighted average buy is about 0.5%lower than weighted average sell, about 800 pingpong cycles completed with 0.5%-0.8% profit settings.

the file you posted are bad formatted (the second one, "CAT Bot Record") and they didn't give any interesting info about your problem.

So question is : are you comparing your "Estimated portfolio value" on the site with the sum of all the Comulative Gains? Because these 2 values are completedly different and it's very easy to find discrepancy.

Let's also consider that % GAIN is With Fee, so 0.5% is very very little.....

No, I am comparing weighted average buy price and weighted average sell price.

Binance fees are 0.05% so 0.5% loss (difference between average buy price and sell price) on 800 bounces, something is definatively wrong here.

CAT Gains are processed after a single ping-pong is completed.
A CAT Gain it's only a math calculation between Ping and Pong price.
If you think there's something wrong pls show me the line or the single gain you think it's wrong.
You can't post a 800 Line file and wait that someone is able to make analysis over it and show you where the problem is (and IF there's a problem).

why do you let CAT run for that long when you have it clearly set up with wrong configurations?
do you think you can just press start without thinking anything and making money?
that's not how it works. The only thing to blame here is you.

Yea I am still going through that to see what the problem was.  800 is a lot of data to run through.

Situation: I trade on Bittrex. Bittrex allow you only to have take profit or stop loss, you cannot have both orders active at the same time.

Question: can I use this bot, to configure it in the way that it will monitor price of my coins, and trigger stop loss or take profit when price reached it's target?

Thank you. Is anyone aware of software which would allow that? To monitor prices via API, and generate SELL order when price is > than take profit target, or if price is < stop loss target.

Hi Sampey
Can you tell me how to set up sending post to URL when is PING-PONG complited, not sure where to start  Wink

just set page as http://yourSite/ServletPage

then on ServletPage create a REST POST Parser and you will have all data anytime a ping-pong is completed.

i'm sorry but i'm not sure you will be able to use this feature without some coding skill.....

this is an example of a server side code to read a REST POST CALL (In Java)

Quote
public static String getBody(HttpServletRequest request) throws IOException {

    String body = null;
    StringBuilder stringBuilder = new StringBuilder();
    BufferedReader bufferedReader = null;

    try {
        InputStream inputStream = request.getInputStream();
        if (inputStream != null) {
            bufferedReader = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(inputStream));
            char[] charBuffer = new char[128];
            int bytesRead = -1;
            while ((bytesRead = bufferedReader.read(charBuffer)) > 0) {
                stringBuilder.append(charBuffer, 0, bytesRead);
            }
        } else {
            stringBuilder.append("");
        }
    } catch (IOException ex) {
        throw ex;
    } finally {
        if (bufferedReader != null) {
            try {
                bufferedReader.close();
            } catch (IOException ex) {
                throw ex;
            }
        }
    }

    body = stringBuilder.toString();
    return body;
}

Hello, I'm looking for a way of manual way to stop CAT creating orders once the last automated SELL order is passed

this way I'd get my money back.

I know there is an automated SELL after X time tab, but I'm only looking for a manual way.

thx

Before people starts pm me :

https://www.reddit.com/r/BinanceExchange/comments/82ou1d/binance_sold_all_my_alt_coins_at_market_rate/

No, i have nothing to do with that, LOL.

but i think Binance Api system have some kind of bug.
Maybe you can invoke that with some parameters that allows you to perform action for other users, or maybe there's bad generator of Public/Private api keys that allows hacker to generate api keys and find real user keys.
Only speculation from a programmers'a mind  Cheesy Cheesy
