Teams like Bangladesh are ruining the beauty of the World Cup. I know my word sounds rudely, but it's true. I loved playing in Bangladesh. In 2016/17, Bangladesh showed some remarkable performances in the ODI format and won against big teams. But after the outbreak of coronavirus, the performance of Bangladesh team has become more weak. And at the moment they are in the worst position. A team like Namibia can now easily beat Bangladesh.

None of the 16 participating teams are ruining the beauty of the world cup. Maybe, I am not happy about Oman (who are essentially a bunch of imported players representing a country to which they have no relation to). And now coming to Bangladesh, they are not in the best form, as they lost to Scotland in the group phase. One reason for their poor performance lies in the preparation before the tournament. They prepared dustbowls in Mirpur against New Zealand. It helped them in the immediate term, but their preparations for the world cup got derailed because of that.

I will not argue whether Bangladesh is spoiling the beauty of the World Cup. But I am very disappointed to see their performance. They are bowling fairly well, but the way they bat is not suitable for T20 format. The opener is not good. Openers can’t collect well. Bangladesh scored very few runs in the power play. At the same time there is no hard-hitter batsman in the team who can collect 40/50 runs in the last 4 overs. The Bangladesh team is only good for ODI format, they are far behind in T20 and Test format.

The match between Bangladesh and West Indies will be very competitive. The West Indies could not match themselves in such a match in the World Cup. On the other hand, Bangladesh could not match themselves in this World Cup. So these two teams will win the match between them who will perform better. I watch all Bangladesh matches in current event, and I am feeling they could be at bottom of this group because their form and body language is not good for this event they are badly down in moral as well they need to regroup which is not possible in very quick session after this event they must think about these mistakes and try to have settled things because right now competition is tough, and they need to be some better Afghanistan is doing much better than know which is matter of worry about them.

Looks like you're right. The match will be competitive. The situation is almost the same for West Indies and Bangladesh. The two teams are trying to get back to form but they fail. Against England, The West Indies finished their innings with just 55 runs. Which was very embarrassing. This suggests that their batsmen are having a lot of trouble batting on such a pitch. Bangladesh bowlers now have to find the weakest point of batting of West Indies players. If the bowlers do well, then maybe Bangladesh will get the first victory of the main stage today.

Fans get upset when their team is losing. It is natural. But that said, we can't ignore the fact that Bangladesh is one of the more privileged teams. The funding that they receive from the ICC is 25 times higher than what teams like Namibia receive. So they are expected to perform well. But their performance has remained below par ever since they received the test status, more than two decades ago. And this has happened dispute the presence of very talented players in their team, such as Shakib al Hasan.

Poor catch-taking, missed stumping and poor bowling have characterized Bangladesh's performance in this tournament so far. Fielding has always been a concern for Bangladesh. Easy catches have been dropped by their fielders. Bangladesh has the skill to make the simple one into the complex. Bangladesh scored 139 runs and they lost by 3 runs. And their defeat was expected. Their batting is very slow. The striker rate is not good of any batsman. They waste a lot of balls. Each ball is very valuable in T20 format. Bangladesh needs to be more experienced in this format. Although their bowling was good enough. However, Mustafiz is getting wickets, but he is giving a lot of runs. He gave 43 runs in 4 overs and take 2 wickets.

I think Afghanistan panicked in the start and lost 6 wickets in quick session. But it was nabi n gulbadin that played very sensibly, they waited till 18th over and in last three overs they scored around 40 runs. Its a very competitive target and Pakistan need to work very hard to get there.

Pak now just needs 24 runs from 12 balls. Expected a good game from Afghanistan opening batsmen Zazai, Shahzad and Gurbaz but bit disappointed to see Zazai going out at zero and other two going out in 8 and 10 respectively. They really played well in previous games. However, others really played well and brought a decent score. Pak is really on fire in this tournament. Winning 2 out of 2 is really awesome and this is going to be 3 out of 3 if they win this match. Good to see them back on track.

Afghanistan played really well, but the sad part was that they got stuck at the end with their weakest link, the pacers, even though the 18th over went pretty well, but 19th was miserable, this is one of the reasons why most of the captains bring their best bowlers in 19th over because this over becomes so crucial when chasing, if Afghanistan could somewhat improve their fielding and their top order batting, they can easily emerge as a competing team against the rest of the world, atleast in limited overs format, because currently they are too over dependent on Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman and Nabi, they need to reduce this dependence and bring all 11 players into play.

Actually I am feeling a bit sad for Afganistan, they really played well in this match, after being 6 down for so less runs, they reached 147 which was a pretty good score and 24 needed in 12 balls they were at a winning position but then asif ali 4 sixes in an over won pakistan the match with an over to spare, well played both the teams it was a pretty good match.

Pakistan was not a favorite before the tournament as no one expected them to perform like they have and now there is a possibility that they will be in the final, their fielding has improved drastically as well as catching and even today they way in which Asif Ali played when Pakistan needed quick runs in the end slamming 4 sixes in an over shows their depth and character.
