What is your prediction about today's RR vs RCB match? I thought since there is no hope of going to the next round of RR if they lose this match, maybe in this match, they will perform better than the previous match. They started the match very well. They collected 77 runs in the first wicket partnership. But after that, no batsman could stay at the crease for long. At the end of 20 overs, they collected only 149 runs. They lost 9 wickets. Now RCB is more likely to win.

Shocked to see RR post 149/9. The openers gave them an amazing start, but the middle order and tail-enders screwed up big-time. They are over-dependent on Samson currently.

Well... Samson failed today. I guess his bad patch has started again. Today it was Evin Lewis and Yashaswi Jaiswal who gave them a very good start. But amazing to see the RCB bowlers pulling back things in the final overs. Harshal Patel has to be one of the most underrated bowlers in the IPL. At times he can be expensive, but he always picks up important wickets. But quite shocked to see RCB dropping Jamieson. He is one of the most expensive buys.. do they think that Garton is a better bowler compared to him?

We need to stop doing that. We are wasting game points as well if we all happen to choose only one team with exact same -winning margin-. Need some diversity with the result here folks.

Lol. Initially, I chose an easy win for RCB, but expected RR to give them a tough fight due to which I settled for a comfortable margin which was clearly the wrong choice, but I didn't expect almost everyone to choose similar options.

Bet on CSK in their upcoming match against SRH and I hope everyone didn't choose similar options. Expecting CSK to continue their recent win streak.

^^^ RR had very little chance of winning the match and that is represented in the picks by various users. The problem here with the pool is that if we pick an underdog and ends up with a win, we would still receive just 1 point. It is not like a normal bet, when we get much better returns when the underdog wins. So it makes no sense to make a bet in favor of a team, which is having low chances of victory. Expect the same for today's match (Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings) as well. Most of the bets will be favoring CSK.

We do have some differences today when choosing options, which is good thing i suppose.

Going with the underdog and i think SRH might win today because they have nothing to lose so there is a chance that players can express themselves freely when comparing to CSK. Also there is a possibility of CSK humiliating them lol, would be perfect if match going deep tho.

Lol. That didn't age well. @Vishnu's luck is crazy recently. It looked like CSK would thrash SRH within 15 overs at one point, but MSD took it deep as usual and helped his team win the match in a stylish manner though it was a narrow win.

SRH morale is down in the gutter in recent times(Warner getting kicked, consistently poor domestic performers etc) which is why betting on them is very risky currently.

This is what happens when the team is overdependent on a handful of players. They were heavily dependent on Warner and Williamson for batting, and Rashid Khan for bowling. The problem is that these players can't be in good form all the time and there may be ups and downs. The other players need to provide support during bad times, and that hasn't happened yet. Only Wriddhiman Saha has been consistent with the bat. Jason Roy had one good game and then his form went downhill. And I am not sure what role players like Abdul Samad and Priyam Garg are doing in SRH squad.

How many more matches left? I think I'm officially out of contest as I can't get so many points to chase the top guys lol. I need to have won all the rest matches with margin point while the top guys need to lose point. My calculation now is somewhat like MI to qualify for the play off.

12 and you can still climb up if you manage to win all remaining games with the margin points. Btw you're not that far.

Yeah very poorly aged post lol. Vishnu cheated, he changed his option after the toss so his last margin points shouldn't count in my retarded world

LOL.. everyone went for KKR today and therefore points gained remain at 0 for all the participants. No one really expected KKR to lose to such a weak team. I was hoping for a KKR win until the last moment. Venkatesh Iyer got KL Rahul early on and nearly got Shahrukh Khan out, but Tripathi just couldn't hold on to the catch. If that catch was taken, then in all probability KKR would have won. Anyway, a win by Kings suits me more. Narrow win by KKR would have meant just one point for me, and two points each to JSRAW and Rapter.

Damn. I don't think Tripathi's catch would change the result since Punjab just needed a couple more runs. Also, why didn't SRK play in the previous matches? He has been performing consistently well down the order in recent times.

DC vs MI was an entertaining match. Looks like MI are almost out of the qualification race unless luck favours them like crazy from here on out. Was surprised to see DC struggle to chase such a low score.

This match made me realise DC's vulnerabilities due to which CSK or RCB have higher chances of winning the cup this season in my opinion. Decider for RR against CSK up next.

They have to rely on what Kolkata and Punjab do in their matches; of course there’s no alternative of winning next two matches at the first place for them. It will be very surprising since MI was dominating the IPL for quite long time.

Disappointing and very surprising to see them struggling like this. So far almost every batter looking out of touch and inconsistent in UAE leg, you don't expect that from the champion team but guess as a team they are going through some rough phase or may be opposition players rising to the occasion from time to time against them and making a big difference.

CSK vs RR match was crazy entertaining. Never expected RR to chase down such a huge total with ease. RR is such an unpredictable team in this season. They play like shit sometimes and light up the stadium with amazing performances some other times.

CSK's recent winning streak has ended thanks to this loss and RR still have hope to make it to the playoffs. Just a couple more matches before the playoffs. Exciting!

When the IPL started, I did not have faith on old horses, but it seems I am wrong. They are doing great in batting and bowling, but maybe they need to improve a little in their fielding. Raina is an exception, by the way. And I guess Dhoni decided not to bat anymore. When was the last time we have seen a decent innings from him? He is good at keeping and skipping, but batsman Dhoni is no more I guess.

How do we all find ourselves going with RCB a comfortable win? webtricks and vishnu seems had a different mind.
