Things are getting heated up, there was an attempt on the life of Osun state Labour party governorship candidate, Lasun Yusuf by some unknown gunmen after the governorship debate on channels news, good thing he lived to recount the ordeal. I just hope that as there is huge awareness now for Peter Obi, that an attempt is not made on his life because it is not impossible for our Nigerian politicians to orchestrate, we saw how they mobilized thugs during the peaceful ENDSARS protest.

But I can not even start to wrap my head around the justification any youth presently living in Nigeria has for either wanting to vote for PDP or APC in the forthcoming Presidential election. Security of voters is very essential to the peaceful conduct of an election, especially with the extremely high rate of insecurity in Nigeria at the moment, i am pretty sure many Nigerians will be afraid to come out and exercise their franchise come 2023 general elections because of fear of loss of lives and property, i do hope that INEC and the government make it a prority to protect voters on that day, that is what is expected of a responsible government.
