Another people we all are not putting into consideration is Switzerland.The team is so United with Granit Xhaka as their captain,if you take a close look at their match against France,you'll see the level of unity that was orchestrated by the team,and that is one of the quality of a team that will win.The team spirit seems very high,ready to defeat any opponent,so I am not rulling them out.They might surprise everyone.

Are we writing off Switzerland against Spain? I personally feel that Spain haven't been impressive at all in this competition. While Switzerland might be performing above expectations right now, I believe they have some quality players, that can turn the tables against Spain.

Not completely writing off. I thought Spain's resolve after conceding two late goals was impressive.Their "growth" in this tournament is what I am counting on. There is no doubt that Switzerland have some quality players too and they know how to fight back. I just don't think they can repeat their performance against France.

Spain certainly improved during the group phase... but they so nearly threw away their chance in the last 16. That first knockout round had some weird matches and weird results, but no team really looks invincible at the moment. So I'd definitely agree that whilst Spain should be favourites, we certainly can't say that Switzerland have no chance.

Switzerland will definitely be playing tight against Spain for the mission to make history more than qualifying for the last 16 of the Euros and it will be a very interesting game to watch.
I must admit throughout the match, the Swiss game continued to improve, especially in a very disciplined defense and also managed to beat the great team of France, the 2018 world champions.
And during the Euros I didn't see Spain playing well and even boring and I can't wait to watch a game which is certainly very interesting.

With a very good game, I think Switzerland has a good chance to win against Spain. A draw is in any case after 90 minutes inside for Switzerland, in the offensive the Spanish were not really strong and compelling.

In Italy against Belgium, I see the game pretty even, but I think the Italians will get win on the end oft the day 😎

I think you all overestimate the quality of Switzerland because of the victory against France.
The fact is that the French team was in chaos and the players quarreled with each other, and Switzerland made great use of that.
Spain started weaker in the group stage but with each new game they play better and I think they are the favorites not only against the Swiss but the favorites of the whole tournament.
The match between Belgium and Italy will be very even and uncertain and extra time and maybe penalties are possible.

For me, there is only one team that hasn't shown any major weakness till now, and that is England. Spain conceded two draws in their first two opening matches and looked unstable. Now I will not deny the fact that Scotland held England to a draw, and in the remaining group matches they scored only one goal each. But at least when compared to the other favorites, they have done well enough. Spain is inexperienced and Italy is inconsistent. Belgium is overdependent on Lukaku. So for me, England is having the highest chances right now.

Hahaha, what a compliment! "Group of Death". Many people predicted that either team from this group would be the Euro champions this time. Unfortunately, none of the teams in this group qualified for the semi-finals. "Group of Death" turned into a dead group...  
Most people are now blaming Hungary for this reason, Hungary played very hard in their group so the other teams became powerless.

A funny picture, but it also has a certain logical meaning. Compared to other participants in the championship, the teams from this group have the highest competition from the very first match and a high physical and psychological stress, perhaps this affected in the playoff round and they simply did not have the strength to show their best game.

That's for sure, but here are 3 big countries that have the best leagues in Europe. England is one of them. Maybe they are a little superior because they play at home. But all can not guarantee the England champion. Now 5 countries are not seeded instead advancing to the eighth final. I really didn't think they would be able to get here. Maybe later there will be another surprise in the final, not the country with the biggest league but with players playing in the big leagues. Maybe Belgium.

I don't think it's an exaggeration, especially just judging the development of defensive and attacking ways of playing which I think Switzerland have developed well over time.
and there is no guarantee the big or favorite team can play well even though there are many famous players in it and whatever the reason is if there is no discipline and cohesiveness in playing and I see Switzerland like that, I only judge the way they play doesn't mean I predict Switzerland will beat Spain it's just that the way they play will make it difficult for Spain to attack.

It's a shame Germany lost, I didn't like England's game... They didn't play football and they didn't let Germany play! It was a classic England bus... I hope Ukraine can win them, although it's almost unreal... 

This is not disrespectful to Germany. England is not a weak team. Germany and England are teams of the same standard. However, Germany did not play well in the second half. They didn't have much chance to counter-attack after conceding a goal. We have seen lots of attacks and counter-attacks in Switzerland va France's match. But we didn’t see it in the match between Germany and England.

Maybe we didn't see the same game, but England didn't play well against Germany. Germany played badly and England played mediocre. England has scored only four goals so far and three of them were scored by Sterling. That says a lot. For me England is not a favorite even if they have all the games at home at Wembley from the semifinals on. So far Italy, Spain and Czech Republic have convinced me the most.

De Bruyne now is healed according to twitter and he will play since starts against Italy tomorrow evening.
This is the player who scares me the most and now he will be back.

I think the odds for Italy will decrease significantly with him in the pitch.

You are really contradicting your words  Belgium and Italy are the two best teams in the tournament, so why is England the strongest team? In recent times, England have never been the strongest team, and neither are they now, so you are right, can't expect too much from England. With Spain, I still feel they are a better candidate than England.

It's not because in recent years England hasn't been a great team, which can't go far this year in the competition.
I for the first time in recent years see England capable of reaching the final.

It's because? Because, even though it doesn't have players considered big stars, it has good players and it's really playing as a team.
And I think that's what's making the difference in this championship, the teams that play as a team are having more success.

Besides thinking that the next big team to fall will be Spain.

Close teams in terms of skill. both has 4 of 4 win matches, and both with close score count. I don't even know to whom I will bet personally

We did see the same game and I agree the performances havent been wow, I'm just
going on what I hear here in the media.

I dont think its clear cut yet, Belgium as @AakZaki replied to my post mentioned and
Italy so far for me have a little more something about them. I like this actually,
even though I lost a lot on some of the Favourites, its nice to see the likes of the

The result of the match won't be determined by our prediction, we only can guess it. So, if your prediction is wrong, it is no problem at all. Spain is not the same as France who lost ridiculously, even though they made mistakes several times but they could still at least convince the football crowd that they deserved to be in the EURO Final.

In my opinion the match between Croatia vs Spain and France vs Switzerland as arranged (IMO), 2 matches on the same day and with the same goal scheme, it was really crazy.

France doesn't deserve a slot in the QF. For sure they have some of the best players in the world, such as Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappé and Presnel Kimpembe. But from the group matches, and PQF I could see hardly any coordination between them. Everyone wants to score for himself and was not keen on passing the ball around. And a few days back the mother of Adrien Rabiot clashed with the relatives of Mbappé and Pogba in public, accusing the players of selfishness. Having best players alone will not do the job. There needs to be team coordination as well.
