An OC to 225MHz shows 1147GH/s on the miner, but less than 1,000GH/s at the pool, basically the HW errors are so much higher you get a lower effective speed at the pool. Hoping the community can figure this out, maybe a firmware update or a more optimized CGminer.
You mean OC not profitable? I set frequency to 250Mhz and after reboot it make long beep. What does it means? Lack of power or too high frequency ?

If you are using the stock 1kw Psu then it's probably lack of power, but it's not a good idea to do such big jumps in click rate when overclocking anyway. Take it slow and incremental.

Pricing, you've been beat several times over by your competitors. Best example, $2350 1 TH/s miner from Bit-Tech: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409701.0Design, just based from the feedback on this thread. Blades disconnected, cables unplugged, quality control issues. Either the S2 isn't packaged correctly, or the case design is horrible. Rollout in batches now. What happened to the shipping from in stock or in hand model? This is basically a shortened pre-order model which causes inflated demand with everyone trying to get in line to make the batch cut. Hopefully for the S3, you go back to the S1 model of rock solid design, competitive and affordable pricing, and always shipping from stock. You already have the most popular miner in the world, maybe listen to the community that put you there.

S2 going back on sale, but as suspected the price is totally retarded … They can go fish ….. 3199 is still WAY over priced considering all the dam issues, and the fact that there is still no site on ROI at that price… Where do these guys dream this stuff up...

IMO the price should be betwwen 2200$ and 2400$. Others like bit-tech or the dragon miners are selling for far less than 3199$.
I am "lucky" that my miners are working fine, problem with just one having my fans running at 100% all the time. Still didnt find any solution on how to control those god damn fans. So fans are still running, 3 of them are monitored in the antminer webinterface and with the first one it is showing 0 rpm ( but still running at 100% ). It is so loud, and bitmain replied to me that it is not possible to adjust fan control manually. So disapointing.
I hope someone can find a way to acces the miners configuration file, I really need to reset / control the fan settings with SSH or something like that. I tried everything I could in order to have my fan control working good.

I agree, Bitmain seems to REALLY be milking the S2 … That or they are trying not to piss off batch 1 or batch 2 customers...

If they didn't want to piss off batch 1 or batch 2 customers, they might have given us a coupon worth more than $100... Their prices were unbeatable when the bitcoin price was higher, but now they have pegged the price in dollars, making break-even very difficult, if not impossible...

What im saying is 1Th will make about $31 a day hashing now. If you bought a machine last week for $3600 it is almost same price as if you order a batch 3 machine today for $3199 and receive it next week.

I agree that $3200 is too high for a S2.
I'm a big Bitmain supporter, but honestly, for the price, I'll either go with A1 clones for $500 less or May SP10 Dawsons.

I am VERY disappointed BITMAIN. I have a dozen S1s, and at this price I see no reason to buy S2s. I can buy 6 more S1s (1.1TH@375mhz), 3 gold PSs, and have $200 left to pay 2 months of additional electricity usage. What exactly is the benefit here? They take up less space? Or just to say I have one?
