Very weak Liverpool performance, no real chances to score in whole game.  Atalanta didn't looked good this season so far, but this game was really good for them. Now they have good chances to reach next round.
Atletico achieved very difficult win. It's not easy to score when opponents are playing typical Atletico football and simply park bus. On last minute Loko had good chance to score after Atletico mistake.
Real achieved very important win and they are almost in next round. While Inter is likely to end even without Europa league.
Marseille - Porto - I said that's good chance to make good money betting on Porto and I was right

Manchester City another mediocre performance, although they won by a goal, but there so much missing in the team! Monchegladbach another win or 2 points from both fixtures would guarantee them a placein the round of 16

you can really tell when De Bruyne isn't playing, City feels like a completely different team without the belgian isn't dominating the midfield and controlling the pace of the game

City already won this game without much difficulty, something expected by many people


 

Once again; Manchester city performance is lackluster; several chances created; several goal scoring opportunities and not more than one was converted. It is becoming a bad rythm for Pep and City; Perhaps Aguero return from injury could spark some form of goalscoring streak for pep side..

Football is quite somehow and funny; it is weird how Donetsk are able to score at the Bernabue but get crushed by Mochengladbach over 2 legs. The group is still wide open and a win for madrid tonight could let it go as fast as match day 6

Manchester City is lacking for a top notch finisher they lost their strongest ability that's finishing opportunity after Aguero became always injured and always lacked the fitness to play a full match also he is becoming older 32 now so I don't think we will be seeing him going back to his prime so bringing one more star striker will be a priority for them this season maybe Calvert lewin or Jimenez will be a much better option then gabriel jesus whom I don't give him confidence to be the sole striker for city if they want to achieve something.

I am very happy, they are finally starting to get a little bit of serious experience in championships and they will certainly do well this year, we hope they can reach the quarter-finals

well, i think everyone knows that Atalanta is a good team but they made bets on liverpool because they're better, but they should have avoid betting on liverpool to win, my bet  included both teams to score at 1.5, and i don't think they can score, Liverpool played terribly today.

This is really bad for Liverpool. Atlanta is also better than many people think, but still, they should not lose with 0-2 at home. At least I'm just assuming that they will lose it. Liverpool will remain at the top of the group, but it is getting more exciting now.

In the reversed fixture Liverpool thrashed them 5-0 I was expecting an outright win for Liverpool unfortunately they flopped and played badly parading some youngstars while resting key players is not a justification to playing badly in anfield in game of such magnitude UCL to make matter worst the host couldn't register any shot on goal is  beyond my imagination this really shows that they are very poor against Atalanta yesterday.

with liverpool's defeat that was unexpected for me, D's group became another group of surprises and unpredictable because atalanta, liverpool and ajax all have a chance to move on, now it will be a matter of not wasting any chance they have to win the game and unfortunately liverpool was unlucky for the next game to be against ajax while the forward is very lucky to easily win midtjylland and will have 10 points

His team inter milan also score four goals in their last league match, and that was after going behind, many times coaches and even players hate when journalist ask them those sort of questions, they always choose to defend themselves, the team and the tactics on air, but within they might know where the problem came in the match, and its something that the team would talk about within the team, they where a man down yesterday against Real mardrid.

yeah, but one have to be aware that M'Gladbach scored 10 goals against Shakhtar, which is really unbelievable for me, did not watch the matches between the two, but have a perception that these teams are of the pretty much the same quality, and M'Gladbach scored ten goals, as Shakhtar is some team from Faroe Islands, cannot believe, really

Atalanta did play an aggressive football on their end and I can say their first meeting which they loss was full of mistakes from the backwards, this time they came with different dimension.
Marseille is out of champions league competitive club, have won and drew no match in their group leaving them with zero point.

It is not a surprise on what Atalanta can do if you look retrospectively on what they done in last season. They lost the match against PSG in a very last minutes and in the all season, they did well in Champions League and Serie A as the most aggressively attacking team.

They deserve the 3 points that help them to have a stronger position for the Round 16 in Champions League. How Atalanta will go far this season if they can reach to Round 16? Leipzig won't be able to keep up their good results but Atalanta is different. They are doing amazing jobs but they need to keep up good results for rest matches.

Standings for Group D: Liverpool 9 points, Ajax and Atalanta 7 points. Any team in the 3 can be out of Champions League after next 2 matches.

As far as I know Atalanta will continue to advance to the next round seeing the away game with Liverpool is so surprising because this is one of the extraordinary achievements, the Italian team was able to beat a strong EPL team.

Atalanta are much better at UCL than in Serie A they are getting more and more aggressive to pressure opponents who keep retreating here I know Atalanta is much better in Inter Milan's Appeal which is a lot of star players.

Group D is very close together. Liverpool at 9 points, Atalanta and Ajax both at 7. So it hasn't been decided which 2 of these teams will advance to the round of 16. Atalanta has made an important step yesterday. But lets assume Liverpool wins both of the remaining matches and Atalanta wins Midtjylland. Then the match Ajax vs Atalanta on the last matchday would be the deciding one: Atalanta would be okay with a draw (and a win ofc) and Ajax needs to win that match against Atalanta to advance to the next round.

Atalanta is a very strong club and similar mistakes in the Champions League are simply not forgiven. This is why it is important to watch the line-ups of the clubs before the match, because sometimes overconfidence leads to the coach placing young players on an important game, and the result is almost always the same...
