Did anybody watch the Porto - Atletico game yesterday? First a really silly direct red card for Carrasco for pushing/elbowing a Porto player in a situation when Atletico was in the lead and just needed to wait the game out, but after that a truly bizarre situation in which Porto's Wendell does the same thing 3 minutes later when they have player advantage and still 25 minutes to play.

To round it up, there was a huge touchline brawl as well, with more suspensions. Atletico ultimately won easily and secured the knockouts, but it was really an even game before Wendell's stupidity.

When all other clubs were playing rubbish. Liverpool had 18 points which means it won all its group stage matches while other clubs had low points, Atletico Madrid had just 7 points and was the second on the table, it was not still encouraging at all.

Liverpool wiped out all the games and this is the same as what ajax did.
They look like a team that is without gaps in all matches. They seem to be on a different level compared to the other teams in Group B.
6 Games, 17 goals and they only conceded 6 goals this is not something all teams can achieve.

Liverpool is still unbeatable, they won in their last 6 CL matches, and Origi probably scored his first goal in the Champion League this season yesterday in their game against AC Milan. Milan performance so far in the Champion League have been poor, they were only able to win 1 match, while they lost 4. Winning the game against Liverpool could have given them the opportunity to play in the Europe League. Although, it seems their focus have been mainly on their Serie A matches. However, this is the end of the road for them in the Champion League.

The record broken by Liverpool for being the first EPL club to win all their group stage matches in UCL is a well deserved merit having been consistent in their performance so far in UCL, despite klopp making eight changes to his side by giving opportunity to other players, they convincingly won the match against AC milan, a good performance by Liverpool, next is the knock out stage which will be highly competitive though it obvious Liverpool will play a runner-up in another group being their group leader, I think their opponent wouldn't be formidable enough to beat them when the knock out stages kickoff in February 2022.

When they, Liverpool were grouped at the beginning of the competition everyone said they were not going to qualify for the knockouts but now look how they done that. Liverpool made the group of death look easier, Liverpool is so good this season, I am not a Liverpool fan but I like the kind of football this Liverpool are playing. Might win EPL and UCL again. Inter Milan was still unable to fight Madrid and had to go 2-0 down, Inter had to lose Barella because they were too emotional so the referee gave their card so for me this is a loss for Inter who still have long time left.

Porto had to accept defeat to Atletico because this was a very dramatic match, maybe many thought Porto would qualify but it all turned around and it was Atletico who had the upper hand.

Crazy match, They played pretty hot in this match.
Talking about the red card, they did something useless in my opinion because the red card for both ATMs and Porto actually didn't need to be done.

We can see how Liverpool and Ajax, both teams are absolutely perfect in this group stage. That way, I'm sure Bayern Munich will do the same because it will be a great record for the club and also, only Bayern Munich have the chance to do the same in today's match. I really don't think Barcelona will win here and regarding the bets you make, I agree with both teams who are indeed better than their opponents. So yes, I'm sure the result will be as predicted but the odds obtained from Atalanta @1.7x, I think it's still a low odds considering the opponent is Villarreal. Although Villarreal so far don't look good in the league, but in this tournament Villarreal certainly still has the spirit to qualify and of course it will be a tough match.

Milan doesn't have the players to achieve anything remarkable in the UEFA Champions League.
Ibrahimovich is too old and the rest of the Milan players are kinda mediocre.
Milan would have a better chance at the Europa League tournament.
Anyway,I'm not surprised by any of the results which happened yesterday.All the teams that were better actually won against their weaker opponents.
RB Leipzig winning against Man City wasn't a surprise,because Man City are qualified for the next round.
Messi scored two goals,but Brugge is a pretty weak opponent against the multi-million team of PSG.

After a long absence in the champions league, ac milan this season I thought it would be a surprise for all of us, but in fact they were not able to talk much this season and in fact they were humiliated by only being able to get 4 points from 6 matches, I think the mentality of the AC Milan players in European competition today are quite different from a few years ago, it seems that now Milan should really focus on the Scudetto and try other luck in the Champions League next season.

Real Madrid surprised me last night against Inter Milan. Madrid is gradually becoming a team to beat again in UCL. The restructuring plan is paying off very fast. The mixture of the experienced and energetic young kids is great. I was feeling a way about the match because they were to face inform Inter Milan without Benzema. But Real Madrid shocked me with a good performance and and reminded me that such a team doesn't rely on individual quality.. despite with the absence of Benzema they still won flawlessly defeating the champion of Italy, what a team. Milan screwed things up big time last night. They needed to win against Liverpool to be able to continue in the Champions League. And they got ahead 1-0 first too. But they weren't capable of keeping the score at it or opening the gap. Even though Liverpool were in a comfortable condition, they still made a comeback and won by 2-1. But as Atletico Madrid won by 3-1, Milan needed to win by at least 2 goals though. It was already hard for them.

Playing at the do Dragao Stadium made Porto play with high motivation to beat Atletico Madrid, but unfortunately they failed to get 3 points in the last match, I saw both teams playing with high intensity and often committing quite hard offenses against opposing players, so the match had to be offten stopped by the referee to give cards, even though they failed to advance to the last 16 of the Champions League, Porto were a little luckier than AC Milan, because by placing 3rd, they still had the opportunity to play in the UEFA Europa League and unlike AC Milan, which have to go straight to the suitcase after the game is over.

I am not so sure about Atalanta. They have this tendency to mess up when you expect them to win and play well when they seem like the underdogs. The Champions League is different from the domestic Serie A and I give a slight edge to Spanish teams compared to those from Italy.

Bayern will play this match without several starters. They will be resting some of their players because they have already qualified and secured the first place. I still think that Lewandowski will be very motivated to show Messi's ex-team what he thinks of Messi's Ballon d'Or win. I also see this as a Bayern win, but I want to wait with my bet until I see the official lineups for the match.

It is time for watching another football show in the Milan - Liverpool game today. I remember their last game against each other in the group. Milan made them really big difficulties but Liverpool still managed to be victorious by a 3-2 result. I expect another game with many goals truthfully. But this time, Milan might not be the losing side. My score predictions are 2-2 and 3-2.

Looking at the matches to be played tonight, Chelsea will beat Zenit in Russia.  Juventus would not lose points to Malmö in Italy.  In the Benfica-Dynamo Kyiv match, the Portuguese team wins.  I think the probability of a draw is high in the Atalanta-Villarreal match.  Lille will decide its own destiny.  They have to win no matter what happens in Germany.  A game that Wolfsburg also had to win.  The most remarkable matches of this evening will be the matches of this group.

Although for most the thing to pay attention to will be the Bayern - Barcelona game, I'm actually looking forward to Salzburg - Sevilla. I've been too pessimistic about AC Milan in the Champions League this season after they failed to get any points in 3 consecutive group stage match. They have quality, but they are still not ready to do much in a big competition like the Champions League although I think they are just unlucky to be in the toughest group.

Yep, many Milan players are new to the atmosphere of the champions league. Dealing with Liverpool & Atletico who are on-fire is not a good thing. However, this is the start for the Milan players, they have proven that they can return to the UCL. There is no target from the AC Milan board, they might just want to see their strength in the UCL. Of course, all disappointed with this result, maybe in the next few years, Milan will have players who are ready to win again in the UCL.

This was the true exciting group for all neutrals. One team was perfect and one team was absolutely terrible and this was AC Milan. And it was such a heartbreak too after getting the last injury goal in the 5th game,,, Ibrahimovic must be feeling devastated they cannot even continue in Europa League.
