Play between Pakistan and NZ has resumed and target has been reduced to 342 in 41 overs. Pakistan now need 182 runs in 19.3 overs with 9 wickets in hands. Rain has somewhat helped Pakistan as they now have to play fewer overs with 9 wickets in hands. The game is still on for both sides. From NZ perspective they need to get rid of Zaman as quickly as possible otherwise game may drift away from them.

I disagree. I feel that rain helped New Zealand here since Pakistan had a shit-ton of momentum thanks to Zaman which suddenly got halted and they are under a lot of pressure to score so many runs in so few overs.

This could go right down to the wire, but I still feel the Kiwis will win thanks to their amazing batting performances.

Pakistan team is batting brilliantly from the beginning to meet the target of 402 runs today, compared to the other day's match, Pakistan batsmen's hit mood today. Fakhar Zaman's brilliant batting against New Zealand today was a truly impressive 106 off 69 balls. On the other hand, Babar Azam is in great form and the partnership of these two could have produced a good score if it had lasted this long. But unfortunately due to bad weather the Pakistan team is still outside the field and the match is postponed till the rain ends the match does not start. Having collected 160 runs in 21.3 overs with the loss of 1 wicket, they need just 242 runs to go. However, after the rain ends, maybe the overs will be reduced in the DL system, then it will be understood which team will have more chances to win.

It is true that the Pakistan team played brilliantly from the beginning of their batting started. But I think due to the poor performance of Pakistani bowlers, this much good batting performance will not work. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman are both performing well. Fakhar Zaman has already brought up a century that too at a strike rate above 150. However, Pakistan's batting pace needs to increase more, because the required run rate is still above 9.30 and their current run rate is around 7.4. So I think New Zealand will win, also Pakistan batting line-up is not as strong as New Zealand. If few batsmen in Pakistani top order are out then I think Pakistan's chances of winning will decrease.

No doubt in last two games he is playing his natural game and having 87 and now 131 which is really impressive even Pakistan still much behind in NRR but fans at home feeling happy because many were saying openly Pakistan is not going to win against New Zealand and keep dreaming about this win but these guys done.
402 was massive target, but their aggressive start with Babar was also in good touch this give them this win even after today their bowlers concede massive runs on this batting heaven pitch now their next target is England which is currently doing good against Australia for their second win in this event.

Fakhar Zaman has the most important role behind the victory of Pakistan team. Because he hit a six in the last overs, this is where the tide of the game turned completely. Because of which the number of overs also decreased due to the suspension of play due to rain and the run rate was higher than the New Zealand team from the beginning. Due to which Pakistan won today, but there were enough wickets in hand, due to which the captain of the Pakistan team did not have to worry about the wicket. Pakistan team can win the competition with New Zealand team has finished fifth place in the points table and Pakistan team has a good chance to go to the qualifier match.

Surprisingly, Pakistan won the match after a poor display of bowling. How often do you see a team lose a match like this after scoring 400+ runs? The match result could have been different if the rain hadn't interrupted the play. That Sodhi over-changed the game for NZ. Pakistan won by 21 runs, and they scored 20 in the final over. Fakhar's batting was top-notch; what a clean hitter of the ball. Initially, I thought he might struggle against spin, but he took spinners to the cleaners. Credit to Pakistan because they played with positive intent and did not get pressured by the asking rate and target.

Pakistan got really lucky thanks to rain interference since it would have been difficult for them to win even though Zaman was on fire thanks to the crazy target. New Zealand bowlers messed up as usual excluding Southee.

Also, it looks like Australia are about to win without Maxwell and Marsh and almost sealed their semifinal spot thanks to England collapsing once again.

I'm not surprised with the performance of Pakistan as it was a batting friendly pitch. But it would have been very difficult for them to chase the 402 runs target. The batting lineup could have collapsed at any time. Fakhar Zaman has played an impressive innings today. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman played without fear even though the target was big. Which has played an important role in the victory.

What an excellent batting ny Fakhar Zaman. He made his century on 63 balls. He hit 9 sixes. And 7 fours. And that was a fast century. But unfortunately there is rain. And match delayed due to rain so now no one can say anything. But Fakhar Zaman was on fire at that time after stopping rain what will he do no one knows about that. So let's hope the rain will stop and Pakistan will win today match. Just waiting.

On the other hand. Australia made 227 runs in 42 overs and lost 6 wickets. And I think they will go approximately near 280 runs. And I think England will try to its best to win this match.

The former champions are formally out of the World Cup now. How time changes so quickly. Four years back in 2019, England beat Australia in a knockout game and removed Australia out of the World Cup. Four years later today in 2023, Australia doing just the same, winning and eliminating England out of the World Cup.

The weakness seen in the England team in this session will not allow them to win against any good team. No one expected such performance from the team. Australia looked weak in the first few matches but they bounced back from the position. Australia currently holds the third position. Despite their improvement, the England team failed to do that. Australia did not get good runs in the opening pair but added well from the next wickets. England lost the match against Australia by 33 runs. Australia are playing great at the moment and they must be expecting good things in this tournament.

It's really one of the worst ever world cup for England because everything were going against them, their top class batter unable to make runs while some of their main player got injured to be honest it was like a horrible dream for them because they don't deserve such as they are former champion, but it's reality they are failed. It's 6th defeat for them and for a first time they lose against Afghanistan too in ODI world cup, so it's mean there are really off colour.
They show little bit intend in this match and especially in last overs I taught woakes will match required runs, but unfortunately they lose his second last match and keep himself at bottom of the table.

Today the New Zealand had played his best innings in the World Cup,because they had crossed the 400 runs in the game.Today rain had favour the team Pakistan,the ICC may postponed the today game.Because it was the very close game.The coach of the Pakistan had predicted the DLS and asked their players to make the maximum run in the first 25 overs.So as expected the same was happened and help the team Pakistan to win the most important game of the World Cup.The top three team was already India,South Africa and Australia,So for the fourth position the team was fighting themselves.Since the Pakistan next match with the England,So it may be the easy win for the team Pakistan based on the England performance.
