Meralco survived against Converge in a close game. They were ahead in the first half, but Converge came back with a huge 3rd quarter run. Meralco had a good 4th quarter, bringing the game into overtime. Meralco was just lucky during overtime, as Franklin fouled out. If he hadn't, then Converge might have won. Additionally, we saw some action when Ebonia and Maliksi clashed, with Maliksi charged with a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2.

Overall, the game was very entertaining. It seems like one overtime wasn't even enough for these two teams.

It his first game and even if Danny is already part of the team as a coaching staff it will still different if you are playing in the court, giving more playing time to Danny might be a big risk but who knows, he might contribute a lot and I expect this on their next game. I am from Philippines but I didn’t know that there’s such a thread about PBA. I am a basketball fan (I do play). PBA is the first professional basketball league in Asia and was founded in 1975. It currently consists of 12 teams and plays two conferences per year: the Philippine Cup and the Governor's Cup. Each conference typically lasts for 2-3 months, with a short break in between.

There’s also an alternative league in the country. The MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) a Philippine professional basketball league that began in 2017. It includes both professional and amateur players from across the country, with the goal of promoting basketball in the Philippines. The league has 31 teams and plays its regular season games on a home-and-away basis. It has a large following and aids in the development of basketball in smaller cities and provinces.

But I still prefer PBA since I like watching and betting on them.

Actually, there are many other leagues in our country and MPBL is just one of it. But garnering the most fans will still go with PBA but it won't be surprising if the viewership is going down on it because of how PBA seems to show always the same championship team and the favorable trades are always with a couple of teams.

If I've got money to bet for that match, I'd certainly pick with Danny I's Converge but then I wasn't able to bet and I'm sure that many fans did probably bet just to show support of his coming back.

He was legend, and whatever reason for coming back I hope he’s more than healthy to play again. Though a limited playing time for him, but at least he’s in uniform and can be called in any time. This might be a big loss to them but they are not out yet, Converge have to take the win on their remaining game to qualify for the next round.

Got that win and the good odds as well since I bet early for this match. I was glued on the screen because I thought Meralco was going to botch this game after the Maliksi's flagrant 2 foul that could have put Converge within 2 points + possession. Just a waste as like what you mentioned even they will bring someone to reinforce them the chance of moving to the next round is no longer possible, I was in the impression that after re-hiring coach Yeng and bring James Yap back to attract more fans will also let the franchise to play harder and bring the old glory back.

Kidding aside, Rain or Shine alongside TerraFirma and Blackwater are already eliminated for this season. As for NorthPort, I don't know if they still have a chance to get the 8th spot since, Phoenix already beat NorthPort in the eliminations. Even though NorthPort wins on their last game and Phoenix lost on their last game, Phoenix beat NorthPort. Correct me if that's the format they are using still for those experts out there

On first game, I think the Bolts will get this one so I'd rather bet on spread or total rather than the winner. On the 2nd game, I think the odds of Ginebra winning is still attractive at least for me. I will bet on them this time.
