If height is the only requirements there's nothing to worry about Kai being drafted, but we all know what's needed when playing to NBA, there are many big guys around players who can play as point guard, just look with Jokic as an example of a 7 footer player, imagine Kai guarding him? I'm also one of those fans who really wanted to see a pure-blooded Pinoy to reach NBA.

But, it will be a tough path for Kai and he will earn all the respect once he signed a secure contract after this summer league.

Though they have almost the same height, I doubt that Kai Sotto will be able to guard Wemby as the latter is too quick for him (just my opinion).

I disagree with you that Kai Sotto's chance of becoming an NBA player is too high as he was not even drafted and he has not shown anything yet in the summer league in the NBA which warrants the attention of the Magic's front office. Height is not the only reason that you can be an NBA player but you must also have the skills but as a Filipino, I still hope that Kai will make it to the NBA but let us not expect too high as this will be a rough road for him.

I've seen a lot of memes regarding the 'expectation vs. reality' situation. Fans were excited and expecting to see Kai play, but he wasn't even given any minutes. However, I read some comments explaining that it's the style of the summer league for the coach to manage minutes well, ensuring everyone gets the right exposure. Though SMB Beermen beat TNT in their previous game but i could say that they are no match for the current lineup of Magnolia in this PBA-on-tour and also I'm tired on losing by betting against Magnolia because they covered the spread every time, so if you can't beat them might as well backed them.

For me, Kai Sotto isn't for the NBA at the moment, his only asset is his height which is not enough for you to become an NBA player and we have seen that on many players that have tried their luck on the big league but doesn't have much success so for now Kai must understand that he will not that minutes to play in the summer league.
