I’m also shock to read the news about LA since he’s very active and for sure living a healthy life to stay fit for Basketball but then again, he was diagnosed with this sick. He don’t want to end his career yet but knowing cancer, that can limit you. Fortunately, LA have all the means to get a good treatment also outside the country, this is why he is more confident to survive on this cancer. Let’s pray for him and pray for every players to be more healthy.

I'm surprised to see the news too. I thought that he was healthy and fit but it's an internal disease that we can't really control but only through our eating habits. Maybe he's eating a lot of those foods that are making a person prone to colon cancer. I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery and my prayers is on him. He's going to survive this and he's got the money and support not just from the fans but also to the PBA management and his current team, I know that he'll get a really big help from them.

All this while i thought that this is a series, i mean this matchup between Magnolia and Meralco is a best-of-three series.

With 1 minute left in the game and Magnolia leading by 7 points (96-89), this is money in the bag for Magnolia and we will be seeing a game 2 on Friday. Too many offensive rebounds for Magnolia when the score was tied 88-all which proved to be costly for the Bolts but can't blame them anyway as Hester is a monster rebounder.

Wow, Aaron Black has sent this game into overtime and now the Bolts have the chance to oust the Hotshots tonight.

Meralco already have 6 points lead, that could be a comfortable lead going into OT and take the win.
This is a good opportunity for Meralco to be back in Semi-final, looking at Magnolia right now it looks like they are demotivated by losing the chance to finish the game in 4th quarter. Meralco WON, they oust Magnolia and prevented three sister company going into the semis.

Meralco vs TNT now are more interesting to watch, this best of 5 series will be wild for sure.
I'll bet on this for Meralco though TNT really have a great run this conference but I think Meralco will be more eager to bounce back ang get the chance to be back on the finals. Ginebra will be questionable if they allow NLEX to win, even without an import. That would be too obvious, so they have to play their best and beat NLEX by a blowout. They are ahead in the series with a 1-0 score. As for their import, hopefully, he can still return. As of now, I have no news about him, but I'm hopeful so that this series will be exciting.

Ginebra winning the first game is a big statement already, but I'm sure NLEX will not give up easily because they are more eager to win and go to the next round. They are not doing this just to make more income, this is already a quarterfinals and I believe, both teams are more eager to play and win. If Ginebra won, they will face SMB as far as I know and for sure, there will be rumors and speculations regarding that match up because they are a sister company so it will be hard to choose on where to bet.

Good point, it's a quarter finals where each teams will try everything to survive and move to the next round, though the advantage still in Ginebra's side after winning that blowout game 1, but the chance for NLEX to win is still open especially once the import is available, the changes in plays executions and the defense will help the team to make something that may upset the heavy favorite.

We can't conclude the outcome we can only share our opinions and speculations, until the final buzzer is not being heard, the winning team is still unknown.

What do you mean by NLEX won't give up easily, NLEX has a chance to win, NLEX will not give up easily, and Ginebra is 1-0 in this QF series? NLEX was already eliminated. Ginebra has a twice-to-beat advantage and NLEX are on the do-or-die in the Quarterfinals.

After reading your reply, I quickly open PBA online website and check the status I wanna make sure that I know what I'm saying from my post above, and yes, NLEX vs Gin kings is on best of three series meaning to say that NLEX still alive and still have the chance to push for the final do or die game 3 against the Gin kings if they manage to pull an upset in their next upcoming game.

Well, kind of interesting, but it would be more interesting if it will be SMC Vs. MVP in the Semi-Finals. Instead, they gave as a 2 best of 5 series where SMC and MVP will fight with one another to secure a spot in the PBA Finals. Who will be happy watching that? Maybe those Ginebra fans will be happy, but me as a PBA fan, I might not watch the whole Semi-Finals and will skip to the PBA Finals TBH.

It's a good option to bet knowing that they are playing well in their last games, but I don't think that TNT will just turn their 10-1 record into waste, and because of that, I will choose them to be the victory of this series. The confusion arises from the lack of updated information. It was made clear from the very beginning that the top 4 teams would have a twice-to-beat advantage, and since none of the teams ranked below the top 4 have won their games, there will be no game 2 for any of the matchups.

Moving on to the Magnolia vs. Meralco game, both teams have put up a good fight so far, and the game has been characterized by its physicality. While Magnolia is favored to win, I believe that Meralco has a chance to pull off an upset if they maintain their solid defense in the second half.

Based on what I see on the screen, the matchup between Meralco Boltz and Magnolia looks exciting as either team could win. The Meralco Boltz have a twice-to-beat advantage, so Magnolia needs to win this game if they want to advance to the exciting part of the matchup.

The game is currently in a run, with Magnolia leading by double digits and now it's back to a single-digit lead.

Things changed after that OT. I'm sure Magnolia is regretting the outcome of the game. They could have won, but due to their careless execution, Meralco was able to come back and even bring the game into OT. AB had a big shot, and in the OT, Meralco was the one who was willing to eliminate Magnolia.

I recall that LA Tenorio had a huge contribution to their past success because of his ability as a good floor general and his ability to make their system better. Now, without a clutch point guard to lead the team, they may face challenges.

Yeah, his connection and influence to the league are unquestionable but certainly too big. But with the control of Gilas, it's for sure that there's a big chunk of money why it is on the possession of MVP company and SBP is the one who manages it.
Anyway, I hope that they do embrace what the other leagues are being pursued like having two imports per team and we're seeing how the teams in the overseas league have improved the playstyle of it and that's what Coach Tab Baldwin is talking about. It's just all about the embracement of the new playing styles and rules of the league.

Tenorio is one of the best point guards for me, aside from Jimmy alapag. He does his 3point shots at the best times or at most needed time. Tho this is not the first time that he's not in the game, I think Ginebra will be doing just fine because Tenorio will still be part of the coaching staff while he's still recovering.

Tho I'm more of a Magnolia fan  I can say that betting in Ginebra is still a good choice. I root for the Gins now since Mags isnt in the semis. It will be a tight game between Ginebra and SMB but I trust the former to win. Their players synchronize so well on the court, not mentioning that their head coach now is Tim cone. And I love Tim Cone ever since in San Mig. Faves really has a huge contributions in betting. It's a matter of Meralco vs. Ginebra in the finals for me.

SMB had a huge comeback to tie the game, but in the end, they still fell short. It was a good win by Ginebra, who doesn't solely rely on their import, making them a very dangerous team. Additionally, Malonzo showed a lot of highlights in the game, which ignited the fans.

Can Meralco upset TNT? It's already guaranteed that it's going to be MVP vs. Cojuangco in the finals, but for TNT this season, I think they are really a very good team. They have great chemistry, and everyone plays well when on the floor, making them a hard team to beat.
