So that's it, my fearless forecast of having a Governor's cup finals between Ginebra and TNT has finally come true. The only thing that I'm not expecting in the semis is the sweep of SMB Beermen against Ginebra as I thought that would be a tight series which I think Ginebra would still emerge as the victor in 5 games but that doesn't happen.

For me, this is a 50-50 finals that seldom happens in the PBA so for those who want to back either Ginebra or TNT, post your bet here as someone might take it. Personally, i have not decided yet on where to put my money but anyone here wants to bet maybe i could take that one, just a little money for the fun of course.

When will be game 1 happening?

Now it will be TNT Vs. Ginebra. Most of the time, I always want to go against the herd (like what I'm doing in investing), so I will predict TNT will win the Governor's Cup title. I also predict that this will be a short series so that they will have a longer preparation for the FIBA World Cup though this is unlikely. I did put my bet on the Bolts and lost.

The way TNT played in the whole conference, I can say that this is their chance to regain the title and there's a huge chance for TNT to win the championship. This will be an exciting game between Ginebra, though its hard to predict the game since Ginebra never say die, and they continue to have this mantra. It's hard to place a bet actually, I lose as well in Meralco but hopefully, I can get it back here in the finals. I'll also go for TNT, let's go against the odds.

Moving on, a good experience with their new head coach and let's see if the management will keep him or ask Coach Leo to return.

Aside from that, I hope that TNT's diva Mikey Williams will be consistent at his usual average here in Finals. There are some notably problems, or maybe we called it issues instead that noticed to the TNT in their last game even they won such as:

- Pogoy's poor shooting that isn't his usual
- Rosser being a bench warmer and MVP for most active bench player that mostly claps for the team lol
- Poy Erram not being used much where in fact TNT needs bigman against Ginebra
- Jayson Castro , end of being a core?

They being carried by their import which shouldn't always be the case when facing Ginebra.

The result could have been different if Coach Leo was spearheading the team. He is way more experienced and could adjust his team accordingly. I have nothing against the new coach, but he is no Leo Austria.

We should not base anything on the elimination round. It is just 1 game, and the Finals is a best of 7. I do not think that TNT solely relies on their import to carry them. The locals are doing great, and the ball rotation is exceptional. They are really good except that Ginebra has been playing with their import for several years now. They have very good chemistry with Justin Brownlee which could be lethal when it comes to clutch moments. This will all boil down to the coach and coaching staff. I think we will witness a very exciting PBA Finals.

Good thing for Gin kings coach Tim always has the other guy to step up, when your gunner is not effective he will find ways to re-create his offense and execute his plans, like what how you describe TNT if Poguy or William will be guarded and limit their productions the chance of losing is high.

Though it's the finals and we don't know what kind of adjustments both teams will come up.

What I know here is both teams will try everything to win the finals, they are both capable to win over another, it's the game plan and the chemistries of all the players that will play inside the court.

That is actually a good take. All Ginebra has to do is make sure that they will force Pogoy and Williams to make mistakes and put them on a slump to win the game. But that would not be too easy to do since these guys when on a roll are also almost unstoppable.  They can score outside and force their will inside. It will still be a lot of work for Ginebra to force them to a bad game. Especially how they perform at this conference. In the last few conferences, there is always someone injured in their team which is why they can't win a championship but now they are all healthy.

If that will be true, although he's not more active on being an offensive player, a good back up for Christian Standhardinger and his presence at the paint is a big help for TNT attackers not to think of doing an aggressive move in the paint.

Nothing will change if there are no changes to the whole roster.

A coach can also do nothing if they can't influence the whole management not to become a farm team. That's also a big challenge for them to keep a superstar in the future the team as top teams can offer that player a big salary compared to what Blackwater can give.

Maybe the good change will be, Blackwater's players might become more boosted as they are being under a new coach and a former famous and good player.

Whether it's a developing story or a confirmed story, I guess there's no changes with the whole Blackwater team.

I mean changing a coach is good (thanks you shared it still) especially if you know that coach isn't helping the gain more wins anymore, but with how independent teams are being treated right now in our league currently, I don't see anything beneficial on it at all.

They get draft picks? Big companies will just fish it. They get new coach? Nothing changes because their roster is still an average one. Changes in the roster? It's sad to see independent teams being like this for many years already, and I'm too young when this happens, but I would want to see PBA back to where it was a decade ago or even more.

That's why TNT needs to maximize their big man, and I don't understand why Coach Jolas is not utilizing their big man Poy Erram even though he's now fit to play starting from the quarterfinals against Phoenix. Instead, he is focused much on Troy Rosario during the series and even during the Meralco series.

Poy Erram already recognized that he's the one who will be given the role of defending Christian Standhardinger but I don't know what will be the plan of Coach Jolas for him in the Finals. TNT needs a good presence at the paint.

But I don't blame Coach Jolas here, we all know that TNT is being mandated by their foreign coaching staff.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson will be busy occupying Justin Brownlee so don't expect him to be able to guard other Gin Kings' big men. Troy Rosario will be busy too to defend Jamie Malonzo. JP Erram is the one that can defend Christian Standarhinger. But if Coach Tim will put Cstand and Aguilar at the same time, that's really a problem for TNT.

Excited to see the Game 1 of this Finals and what would be the scenario that will happened there.

Did Troy Rosario get traded back to TNT? I'm not entirely sure since the last time I checked, he was playing with Blackwater. It's possible that I may be outdated with recent events. Can you please confirm if there have been any updates regarding his transfer?
