No doubt TNT brings the crowd silent and we all know that many fans support ginebra san Miguel as they predict that they will win even me  I thought they will win it because Justin brown Lee has a chance to play with them tonight but sad to say they didn't made it maybe next season we can see The evolution of the barangay ginebra.

This might not be the best championship game for Ginebra but they have to accept the fact and do better next time. The fans should move on because Ginebra can’t win all the time, let’s give credit for TNT on doing their great job since the elimination round up to this championship game, they really deserve the trophy.

This is the first Governor’s cup for TNT and its all worth it, I knew they can win the championship and they have prove it today. Still kudos to Ginebra for playing all out despite of the absence of their players, they are still one of the best, maybe this is not their time time but I’m sure Ginebra will be more eager to bounce back and get another championship. For now, TNT have to celebrate its big win and be prepared for the next conference as well.

Without a doubt TNT can do it because TNT have a good lineup and we all know that Thier lineup can beat the rest of the team in PBA also they have a good import as well and what we saw he is one of the player who can carry his team and also what we saw in his moves is like kobe brayant and also he has a good technique and once he drive he is very good in catching fouls and that's a good help for the team because they have a chance to have a position or have a free throw.

Imagine the import is playing 48 minutes without barely a rest and doing both offensive and defensive end for the team just to carry the whole TNT. Good thing Mikey Williams backed him up last game or else, the series will be extended to Game 7. Only Mikey does some good backup on the import and the rest are all "dinadaga" because Ginebra is pressuring them.

I'm not questioning the result of the series but only if Brownlee didn't got suffer from that food poisoning, they should at least win Game 5 and a 100% healthy Brownlee will be expected to play for the remainder of the series. It's impossible to become fully healthy in just 2 days of rest after severe food poisoning.

If we talk about the scoring, then you are right only Williams who really give them that huge productions but playing as a team to make an important stop it is still a team effort for me, I agree though that if only Brownlee is healthy it might be a different story but luckily to TNT he was suffering and regaining a full strength is not possible in a short period.

I just realized that we will never see PBA games for several months from now as the 48th season will be in October instead (from September) because of a conflict of schedules on events. It's to show the league support for Gilas in this year's FIBA World Cup which will be held on August 23 - September 10 and the ASIAN games, which will be held on September 23 – October 8, 2023.

For now, what the Gilas is currently focused on is to prepare in reclaiming the gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games Men's Basketball which will be held from May 5 - May 17, 2023. Justin Brownlee is so hyped to play right now and motivated to reclaim the gold medal for the Gilas after his last PBA Finals loss.

This is good for Gilas. They will have plenty of time to prepare for the FIBA World Cup. They at least have 3 months to practice and get good chemistry going on. Southeast Asian Games, though will not be that competitive, is a good tune-up game for the Gilas team. There will be lot of expectations for Gilas since they will be playing at home. Hopefully, there will be a good program that could create the best Gilas team to compete for the World Cup.

With the preparation I can assume that we can reclaim the gold medal in Sea Games with Brownlee now in our lineup that will be a good addition not just for offense but also with his defensive capabilities, same with your assessment, FIBA might be far from us even when we will going to play here in our country the bracketing is too difficult with the selection of heavyweights winning might be impossible,

A great experienced might it be for team Gilas, just showcase their talents and be proud in playing with pride of representing our flag.

Honestly, that's the most concern to me now that Gilas needs to win before we can talk about the biggest basketball competition. Before we used to think that SEA Games basketball is a good tune-up game for Gilas as the Philippines reign the men's basketball competition here in almost 3 decades.

Last SEA games, Gilas was upset by the country Indonesia and has a perfect record of 6-0 in the men's basketball.

Big Beau has been suspended. This guy really cannot control his temper on the court. He's already in the PBA, so maybe his pride was hurt by whatever happened in Cebu. I'm not surprised, actually, as Big Beau sometimes has altercations with his opponents in the PBA, but this one is just too much.

Just read this news article recently and decided to post it here to know your reactions to the alleged involvement of Ian Sangalang and other basketball players in this controversy.

Though this game-fixing allegation happen sometime in the year 2018, if proven that this is true then I think illegal things are still happening in the PBA right now, just no one surfaced to divulge the crime.

RAIN or Shine has suspended Beau Belga for six working days without pay for his involvement in a basketball game in Cebu, a video of which went viral recently.

Big Beau has been suspended. This guy really cannot control his temper on the court. He's already in the PBA, so maybe his pride was hurt by whatever happened in Cebu. I'm not surprised, actually, as Big Beau sometimes has altercations with his opponents in the PBA, but this one is just too much.

In my opinion, it's not interesting. He's not even a celebrity in the PBA, and we know he's not a calm player, so that's not unexpected. Actually, there's more interesting news than that, and that's the mention of "game-fixing".

IAN Sangalang will be taking appropriate actions against the Singaporean businessman who implicated him in an alleged game-fixing incident during the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup finals.

The Magnolia big man denied ever knowing Koa Wei Quan, the former owner of transportation firm Koa Motor, who is facing 14 graft charges in the State Courts in Singapore for influencing games played in the PBA and the Thailand Basketball League between the months of April and July of that same year.

Sangalang said he doesn't know nor was he even introduced to the 32-year-old businessman.

In a report that came out of the Singapore-based The Straits Times, Koa allegedly offered Sangalang a bribe of $5,000 to influence the outcome of Game 5 of the all-Filipino title series between Magnolia and San Miguel.

The Beermen won the game in double overtime, 108-99, to clinch the championship.

It was a game in 2018, but the issue of game-fixing has always been present in our discussions here. Do you guys think that Sanggalang has something to do with it?

Technically, the suspension wasn't because of the brawl. Regardless if Beau Belga was involved in the brawl or not, or let's say the brawl didn't really happen, the game where he was involved was not sanctioned by the governing league. A PBA player under a live contract can't just be involved or participate in the league outside the PBA. What if they got injured? That's why it should be subject to suspension.

I see this around one of social media account and I did watch the clips though if you know Ian you might wonder why he was playing that way but it won't prove anything and with the allegation Ian have a right to sue this person who from him he really don't know personally, a good way to clean his name and also the reputation of the league together with his team.

I'm pretty sure it won't get any attention. It will die as same with all this accusation before about game fixing.

We each have our own betting style, and personally, every time I bet on PBA, I always consider the possibility of game fixing. With this kind of thinking, I have found myself to be more successful compared to the past where I only relied on the stats to determine a team's chance of winning.

But first, Gilas or the National team need to change mentors, hahaha! I don't want to proceed to this kind of statement as I know by my heart that there are many qualified players who just needs opportunity and willing to come out and represent our country, if there're a change in the coaching side for sure those players may have their own share to play with our National team.

Players like Abando and Abarrientos who both love in representing our Nationals are being neglected by the current coach. I think both can provide decent numbers as we are seeing them competing overseas and outshining the locals.

Yes, they can't force players and that's why many don't seem to be interested as they've got other reasons to beg off. I think the whole thing started when it was all about its coach and the management, SBP. Many Filipinos are disappointed on how these lead are managing the country's team.

All of them wanted to represent the country but if most of them are declining, there goes the problem comes from the coach itself. They don't want to be humiliated in front of many basketball Filipino fans. Thus, they're now having a lesser pool of players. I guess we're still in the "learning phase" just as what has been said by Chot. The pity team has got a lot of great talents with heart but only uses those he likes and favors and I hope this is an eye opener to the PSC and SBP.

That's also what I'm thinking kabayan, it's very hard to pull the job if you are alone, and just like what Sangalang said that he won't risk his career on that few hundred thousand of pesos if ever they do that. This will be just another accusation that will die a natural death as this is very hard to prove.

Good thing that you still believe in our PBA kabayan hehe. Same here, I bet on the game thinking that it's not rigged or scripted as we sometimes jokingly say but based on the strength of the team and its adjustment made to win a ball game.
