We all know many want Ginebra to win, but for the sake of the league it’s better if Meralco will take over the spot and proceed to the finals. Meralco should do everything to win because they already have a good chance and getting back into the finals is a big thing. Meralco vs SMB in the finals can finally change the scenario in PBA, and I bet for this to happen.

Not to take away the credit to Meralco Bolts but yeah they deserve to play in the Finals after playing good offense and defense against Ginebra and i don't know how the people (PBS fans in particular) would react in case the Bolts will take the final seat in the Finals, will they watch the SMB vs Meralco series? If Meralco will win the series against Ginebra then they can bring the venue of the Finals elsewhere like game 1 will be held in Batangas then game will be in Cebu hehe, that way they can attract people to watch Finals game.

Yeah, they need to fnd ways to bring the interest of the fans, they can coordinate those games with politicians to sponsor the venue for sure it will bring decent exposures not just for the PBA itself but more for the politicians especially that the incoming election is nearing they will manifest for this kind of events, just sharing what I think will make someting possible for the league, we know by the fact that if there's organizers that will host the venues fans will be there and with how they doing now, they are bringing people to watch the live games and it makes it doable to have those old time and newcomers to have that support back for PBA.

I just found that kind of betting when there's a posted that shared it here before, I could not remember the name but I was kinda intrigued with the odds as it's very attractive.

Good point in that last statement, though even how good the coach it will be depends on how the squad will play the game, and like what you mentioned I also think that it will be more physical as how we are witnessing it from that last 3 previous games, Meralco manage to push the series to the final game 7 do-or-die, I guess that's something that fans will really love to watch as it's more on a championship type of a game compared to the finals that awaits, with SMB waiting to whoever will win from these series not to disrespect to whoever will win but the advantage of SMB squad is really by far.

That's a fair assessment, SMB really has a huge advantage to either of the teams playing in the semis. I guess that's the result of building a super team, the thrill in the game is lost because one team is too strong that can even sweep their opponent easily. I think the job here to make the Finals more exciting does not rely on the players or coach, it's on the refs, if you know what I'm saying.

They really don't have other choice but to do that since nothing will happen on a dying league if they will not out source it to other towns and its good that they think about this since for sure there would be a lot of gate attendance on the venue since even if we see that no one watching in their traditional venues still there are people who's willing to see their favorite player on those provinces. But I don't know if they can sustain this since what I think this will not give a long term solution in their drought. If the competition of PBA will still the same then maybe there would be a time that even if they do a out of town game again no one will watch them.

Just like what mentioned on the post above you, if ever Gin kings will climb up and be the one to play for the finals, I go with that script but what's written in that script will be depends from how gamblers will place their bets, it's been a rumors before and still continue as rumor but with how the results comes up and there's doubt about what happened, then it's on you to take if you'll going to believe, moving back to this game 7 might be possible also that a close game again and taking that handicap in case Gin kings win is very possible to take place.

I've been using that link for days already. I saw it when a facebook streamer use it for his stream, I thought all of their streams came from pilipinaslive.com where they have to pay monthly, so i tried to search in google luckily it's available and working fine. By the way, congrats on the Bolts, they are now leading by 5 points at the half. I like this one since it's out of town game, they aren't too familiar so the shooting will be more lower, after the first half, they are just combined with 67 points, I think they'll beat their low scoring game in game 6 with a lower total production for both teams.

I'm very much impress with this rokie Brandon Matthew Bates, he was a big problem for Ginebra inside as he is a hard working big man, he grabbed offensive rebounds and he block shots. Though not really a good scorer and a FT shooter, but his presence on the floor was really big.

Tough series again for Meralco after beating the Gin kings in a final game 7 series,  compared with Gin Kings, SMB is more quicker and they've got deeper inside protected, though we've seen how consistent Meralco was and how competitive they are and again they will be tested, it's the final so for sure there are many fans and bettors that will monitor this series and not to be biased I do see that SMB will win, JMF will again be the big difference and still the powerhouse support from all the stars from the lineup..

I thought that it is going to be Ginebra Ginkings and SMB Beermen, as always sister companies. But this time, we've got Meralco in the finals against the Beermen. Game 1 will be on June 5, Wednesday and it is going to be in the Smart Araneta Coliseum. We are all betting in SMB here as obviously the defense of Meralco won't work against a team that are very confident with theour outside shooting. Although they have a big man that showed up in the game 7 which is Bates, but he is just a rookie, he can't guard JMF in the paint who is bigger than him.

I don't know yet the betting spread in game one but it's like be -5.5 for the SMB and I will gladly take it. Actually, Meralco only won that series because Ginebra is undermanned, no Grey and Malonzo who are both great outside shooters, but now Meralco will be facing a healthy SMB which is a better team that Ginebra.

Just relax a bit, I understand the urge to bet but just like the NBA, they also have a break to rest and be fully ready in the Finals.
