I also think Atletico Madrid will win against Real.Real will have to fight hard for the win tonight which I think they will be able to win this game.However seeing the stats of each team for me it is a sure thing that Atletico will win or at least will draw as the worst case.Real simply lack the power to stop a team like Atletico in the current conditions.

The two clubs compete at UCL tonight, they must fight to enter the next stage. They have a full schedule this week and both are just as tired. For the league, I chose Madrid to win, even though Madrid is not stable yet. The return of Sergio Ramos will boost Madrid's confidence and that's good for the team. Even though Atletico are at the top, I think Madrid are still able to compete and the results are difficult to predict.

Yeah Real Madrid won today because they played good but also because M'Gladbach were "soft" too with a defective defence line. This should reassure the fans but certainly not Zidane and his players since the next stage will not be an easy one. The best part for Real is that they will face a team in the second spot, the bad news is that some of these teams can compete RM.

This time I can agree with you since Real Madrid only has Benzema as the most experienced striker for the Classic match against Atletico Madrid this week. But there is always a way to win. Maybe Zidane needs to consider putting Benzema on the bench in the first half. Just let Díaz as the starter. Benzema needs at the bench to learn how Atletico Defenders play. Then, he can substitute Díaz in the second half. This is probably a way to score effectively. IMO

@daarul50 I would give Zidane some credit too, but you’re right too because he had Ronaldo and Bale who helped him win many trophy’s. However now if you look at their current squad they don’t have such star player’s which is hurting him. Furthermore in a pandemic year I don’t expect them to make any big signings in the upcoming transfer windows, but post that in 2022 I expect that they’ll spend big money and get big stars like Halland.

Yeah, your strategy is perfect. Benzema is the only skilled and talented striker in Real Madrid. No other player is able to score regularly except him. We saw Real Madrid's match against Gladbach yesterday. Only Benzema scored and Real Madrid won the match. Real Madrid's match against Atletico Madrid will be a bit different. Atletico Madrid's defence is very good. If Benzema waiting on the bench in the first half, and watched Atletico Madrid's defenders gameplay closely. Then I think Benzema can score in the second half.

I think Atletico will be able to beat Real Madrid in the next match. Real Madrid is a good team. But their forward is not very good. Their whole team is dependent on one player. But all Atletico Madrid players try to play well from their own position. So they are getting good results.

Real Madrid does not have enough strength to beat Atletico Madrid. At least I think so. Look at the Atletico Madrid team. A stable team. They are performing well as regulars. But I don't see any continuity in Real Madrid's performance.

I also absolutely disagree with the statements that Zidane is an average coach, because not every coach can properly use the huge resources in his hands, and no one will deny that real Madrid had and now has a great squad. Another question is that all the success of Zidane as a coach, we can only see on the example of one club and with Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to see Zidane in other conditions and achieve success like Mourinho, Guardiola or Conte, so some skepticism is well-founded.

Zidane is a good coach but to say he is a great coach, it will cause serious debate. It is same as the debate on Pep Guardiola or Lionel Messi. People say Pep was lucky to take over the Barcelona at the golden time of their players: Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquet, blah blah. They can be right at it but Pep shows his great ability to manage team and it is wrong to say he is an average coach. He did not get Champions League after leave Barcelona and it means he was out of luck or lack of something between good and great coach.

Zidane will only be recognized as great player if he takes a coach position in other clubs and get big success.

Mourinho is different, he got success and failures in some clubs but he is adaptive to many national leagues and left his marks on any leagues he worked in. He is a great coach.

Except for Azar and Mendy. When Perez will give him those players which he needs, then one can judge whether he is a good coach or not.
