the revolution in the 89 was staged by ex kgb officers in Romania
the leader of the revolution was Ion Iliescu known for his ties with the former URSS and the one that denied a real revolution taking place in 90.

The picture is from the anti-war rally in Donetsk, when people collected signatures asking Washington not to murder them.

However, during 1941-954 there were a lot of teens fighting to defend their homes. When the enemy is at the gates, threatening to overrun your town or village, and there is a real possibility that you yourself, your mother, your siblings will be killed, you tend to grow up very fast, you take to arms and defend what is dear. The scale is different, it becomes very personal, and the world politics as we see it here.

During the last two weeks that I was away on vacation, I had a chance to follow Russian TV news from RTR Planeta and lack of news from Euronews, which during this covered all between Iraq and Karachi, but not the massacres happening in Europe.

In the meantime, we can write of 50 male medics killed in a town hospital for treating the "wrong" people.

We can write of refugee children who panic once they hear engine sounds of an airplane, expecting bombs to start falling.

We can write about the scorched earth war being conducted to destroy infrastructure and people, to drive them from their land
We can write of refugees trying to find a safe passage under bullet, while Valtsman (Poroshenko) talks of "humanitarian corridors" - the Russian journalists killed by artillery were preparing for a report about one such refugee column.
We can write about villages that were overrun by the invading forces, where unobtrusive markings were appearing on the doors, showing which families had their members in the resistance and thus the whole family was slated for extermination
We can write about forbidden phosphor bombs being used against the people of Donbass.
We can write about a lot of thing, but it won't change a thing because Europe (its media) stuck fingers into their ears and sings "la-la-la everything is fine".

And what about the ceasefire?! Yesterday, the Russian and Austrian presidents urged Poroshenko to extend the 7-hour window. And a couple hours after that Poroshenko made a completely opposite move, saying that the ceasefire can be aborted at any moment, and that the military and the private bandit groups are authorised to use full force at a smallest provocation.

The freedom fighters of Novorossia  actually didn't see any traces of ceasefire - shelling of the civilians continued as usual, cities are still under blockade, and the refugees are still denied safe passage by the aggressors.
