A huge area in Donetsk oblast to the North-West of Mariupol has been seized by the rebels, encircling large detachment of Ukrainian forces in the Amvroseevka pocket. No threat to Mariupol as of now, but the strategic port city of Novoazovsk is under constant threat. And most importantly, the Ukrainians have lost control of the highway connecting the Northern part of the Donetsk Oblast to the South.

Several sources confirm that the large Ukrainian battlegroup has been encircled along the line Amvrosiivka-Savur Mohyla. There can be 5.000 to 10.000 soldiers in trap there. If rebels manage to deal with them fast enough, it's going to be a true disaster for ATO.

Also, there are many activities going on in -formally- Ukrainian controlled territories. Conveniently, rebels are calling these small and highly mobile groups operating behind enemy lines a 'partisans'.
