I still remember the day I ask you guys about an NFT Roobet Artworks where I will supposedly use the artworks that I have won on their Roobet Art Competition, and yet, there are some rumors floating around that Roobet will actively participate on the NFT hype...

Is this some kind NFT flipping that the seller will hope for someone to buy a Roobet NFT Art at a higher price?

It seems to that hoping for that will likely to happen. If ever Roobet will join in the NFT ride, I personally think that there is a high probability that they could attract people that would buy those NFTs related to Roobet (maybe those that are really fun of Roobet, or those that has good experience and winnings on the casino). Since they could also hype the space, some would definetly buy it at a higher price.

The problem I see is addiction and greed. Addiction for someone who wins a lot isn't much of a problem as it is for someone who has greed. Gambling can be tricky and needs self control. People gamble and earn some money, and because of greed, they throw in everything hoping to multiply it, but instead, it then fails. Most people fail to see this and that is why the average person usually have a little success before finally losing it to greed.

Even when you are winning a lot that doesn't mean that we can't start to lose all of a sudden. This is why we need to make sure to stop and put some aside when we are gambling even if we are winning a lot. I know it is hard to estimate when you will start to lose and this is why many people do not put their money aside, however it is obvious that one day we will all lose.

I always put 50% into saving (vault or whatever else in other places) when I win 2x and then keep betting as much as I can. So for example I start with 50 bucks, if I reach 100 bucks then I put the profit 50 bucks into somewhere, then keep gambling with the other 50 bucks until it's gone. That way if I lose it all, I still have my initial deposit.

Why the heck are Roobet withdrawal fees so high currently(Close to 8 bucks)? The network fee is just a couple of cents at 6 sats which is why I have no idea why Roobet hasn't tweaked their withdrawal fee yet.

Am surprised to see no one here having issues paying such high fees. Roobet needs to learn from sites like Bitcasino etc in this aspect who literally charge zero withdrawal fees.

Unfortunately the fees for small amounts are not affordable and the current network fee is less than $1. Hope the dynamic fees for low level will go below $3 so we will not lose the small amounts instead of paying fee.
Using dynamic fees will solve the problems mentioned on the thread, at least small gamblers will know which fees they gonna pay before sending the transaction to their personal wallets.
Letting the users choose fee based on Satoshies will be more efficient rather than fixed low/medium/high fixed fees.

The better solution is to withdraw your fund at once when you did not use the casino or gamble there. Or another option is, find better bookies than this that have offered free withdrawal fees, but I think they had a large amount of minimum withdrawal. This is the only problem with Roobet, they have the fixed price for the fees even if the market is not congested they barely adjust the fees this is one of the disadvantage of having an instant withdrawal, since some gambling site are making the withdrawals in one transactions from many gamblers. Hopefully, Roobet will find a better way to deal with this, its painful for a small time gambler to pay such fees.

No doubt they will solve this problem sooner or later. Looks like the team has no intention to lower the network fees because the higher the fee the miners will give higher priority to the transactions. TBH, I like fast deposit/withdrawal system of Roo, no need to wait for the first confirmation to continue playing slots unlike other casinos that we are supposed to wait for 1 confirmation that can take up to 30 minutes.

You can choose altcoins with cheap transaction fees for deposit, bet and withdrawal. I don't have problem with withdrawal fee.

It is about your plan when you move your coins from exchange to exchange or to casino. You need to have a plan for it and things will go very well. If you worry about transaction fee on Bitcoin network, choose altcoins like Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ripple, and so many more altcoins.

As you mentioned, BTC network fees are very low in recent times which is why I am surprised to see Roobet charge close to 8 bucks for a single withdrawal(Messed Up).

I think the use of Bitcoin as a deposit currency is simply because there are very rarely alternatives with low fees and at the same time also held by many players such as ADA (ETH fees are usually very high as well). Personally, I would immediately switch to another deposit currency if one was available that I also own and gives me less fee costs!

Deposit gateways, where you can send coins of your choice and in the end BTC are transferred to the destination address, are in my opinion also still too expensive to use.

+1..I wonder if other crypto gambling websites implements the use of Lightning network? You see, besides joining the NFT hype, it would be more beneficial for their clients to at least use the lightning network and it could be more a logical update than a tulip mania NFT..

Just like on what we are seeing on Stake but its not directly because you would really be using up Dinabot with that but i agree that it would really be more convenient or appealing if they would really be adding this
