As a Ghanaian the country is on the edges as we face Comoros in a few minutes, Truth be told, the Ghanaian Squad is very inferior and even if they win their game today, they will not progress any further in the competition.

After the controversial nature in which the last Ghanaian game ended (in a draw), I believe the black stars of Ghana would have to win this one, it's a must win for them if they are to qualify for the next round, there is prolly a lot of pressure surrounding the game, but I expect Ghana to win. Nevertheless, such results are exactly twice as good as those that we saw initially (almost all matches ended 1-0 and many goals were scored from penalties)  Cameroon could have won this game for sure, but they had no motivation to do so as they had already secured their place in the playoffs, so a draw was an acceptable result for them.

What's the point of fielding your strongest team when you've already qualified? I agreed with you that the outcome was fair because they didn't want to take any chances and needed to save their legs for critical matches coming up in the next phase.

I'm not expecting many goals, especially from the already qualified teams, in this final round. I'm expecting a lot of 0-0s and 1-1s.

I don't know, maybe it's to get more game practice because the coach considers the players to play badly with each other?
A funny situation in group B - even despite the defeat, Guinea reached the playoffs, but if Malawi had been a little more successful in the match with Senegal, then Guinea could have left the tournament.

Right before the end of the first round, third match is so tricky for almost all the teams you have mentioned ; After the incident occured in the match of Tunisia-Maly with the arbitrator who announced the end of the match twice times before the minute 90 and the Tunisian team refused to finish the match, CAP threated the Tunisian team that he will be punished, Morroco team said that he would leave the competition if Tunisia punished.

Ghana is on the verge of being eliminated from the competition except a miracle happens unfortunately they are playing with 10 men scoreline now Comoros 3: Ghana 2, it will be a big disappointment to their fans at home if they go home with just one point because their chances of qualifying as the best loser is also very slim and unrealistic with just one point, the Ghanaians underated the Comoros team and unfortunately they are out after a woeful and disastrous performance, a big disgrace to once a powerful footballing country in Africa.

I think these are the kinda scores we should be expecting in AFCON competitions. with the exception of a few players, the majority of the players play at the local level and not at foreign clubs. This is why top players like Salah are unable to perform due to the fact that they're not playing with people who are familiar with their playing style. IMO, we would continue to see scores like this as the tournament continues. My money is on Nigeria to win it although Cameroun seems like a title contender.

Im really surprised today.
Ghana.... no words losing to a team already eliminated.
But the real surprise for me its Gabon without Abuameyang managed to pass the group stages and make some goals.
Senegal...... 1 goal in the group stages clearly dissapointing they have wonderfull strikers.

It's even worse that they ended up bottom of their group with only 1 point.
Ghana's tragic display collapses with only one point. However harsh the red card for Ghana may have been, the Ghanians are still to blame for not taking their chances when they were presented. It is impossible to do things anyway and expect good results at AFCON. The time has come to go home and rebuild. I feel bad for Ghanaians.

Odds are 1.20 that they win, my guess is that it will be a clear result with at least 2 goals difference. 2-0 or 3-0, 3-1 are likely

In paper it looks like you say but let's not forget surprise results have happened lately,since this is the third game I think Nigeria can win but can also pass the group with a draw while Egypt needs to win this at all costs in order to not compromise their campaign in this tournament,I believe they are going to win easily,probably a handicap bet for Egypt can either work or not but a single money line bet on them should work without problems.

Several countries have confirmed their progress to the last 16 of the African Cup of Nations now, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Guinea, Cameroon, Senegal and Morocco have already confirmed a place in the Round of 16, now there are only 10 places left to be contested by the other teams in the group D, E and also F  in the last match of the group phase african cup tomorrow.

Tanjung Verde, ethiopia,malawi, zimbabwe, komoro and ghana are countries that have been confirmed to be eliminated earlier from African Cup

To be honest, Senegal does not deserve to advance to the next round. They have been terrible and have never won a game comfortably, with the exception of a last-minute penalty kick against Zimbabwe. They were one of my favorites to win the AFCON, but I lost hope on them after their first two games.

Senegal was one of my favorites too before but they are showimg us disappointments, I too have lost hope in Senegal. I do not think Senegal can get to quarter final if its team continue poor performance.



This is a very big disappointment also from Ghana. Even Comoros won Ghana 3 - 2 yesterday. Ghana is now out of AFCON.

Today's game is another game between Nigeria vs Guinea Bissau. Already guinea Bissau midfielder have promised the Super Eagles players their won't be any chance for them to win the match, but I still doubt if guinea bissau will be a able to defeat the Super Eagles based on performance since AFCON started.

It's quite a pity and unbelievable that Ghana went home like this. This is the result you get when you think your opponent are far below your standard, them underestimated comoros. Ayew's attitude warranted his red card. They didn't prove matured and prepared, hence the early departure from AFCON. Ghana has participated in the Afcon 24 times. But this is the first time there are leaving at the bottom of a group without winning a single match. It is very disappointing to see Comoros score and won Ghana. It's very disappointing to see the Blackstars not win even a match in the tournament. What a shame to Kurt Okraku and his management.
I think they should also scout some players from the Ghana Premier League to play for the Blackstars team, it helps to strike a balance.

In addition, Tunisian team announced lately yesterday that twelve players from the main team have tested positive Covid and have to move to quarantine. This would drastically decrease the chance of Tunisia to move to next round after the last win against Mauritania and a loss against Mali. Even with the full team, Tunisia has less to none chances to win the round one last match as at best it will get a draw and wait for Mauritania to win against Mali which is so far to be true.
I suggest you not to bet on this match.

This group stage was unexpected as it is full of 1 - 0 matches, Cameroon played quite good, people have been saying Cameroon will win AFCON but let us see who will be the winner.

It is easy to guess that Nigeria is the favorite in this match. Because Nigeria is the strongest team in the group D. After winning the previous two matches, they have secured the round of 16. So this match is not important for them. The Guinea-Bissau team doesn't seem weak to me. So my guess is the match is going to be a draw.

Egypt    VS    Sudan
Egypt scored 3 points in two matches. If they can draw in today's match, they will be able to ensure round 16. However, the opponent Sudan is a very weak team. My guess is that Egypt will ensure Round 16 by winning this match and Salah will score a goal today.
