Dump,dump,dump,the distribution is awful.
If we want to attract more people involved, the dev should reveal more technical details. But the dev never answer anything about the technical details especially the algorithm.
Qora claim that 1-5 minute block time depending on the network activity. But now some of blocks need more than 10 minute to be generated.
is such question we should concern?
At this moment we should care more about the technical details IMHO, not the price.
We can't promote it if we don't know it.

As for technical details, we could do with some more updates from the dev, maybe get a PR guy or post updates weekly a la Sunny King.

I know it's a pain in the ass, but worst case scenario your transaction will have to be resent once the forks are resolved. I sent from Polo to my wallet hours ago and still have not received. I'll open a ticket and wait. But I am not worried cause I will get my funds sooner or later, the are not lost.

Keep in mind, this is not a clone coin, there will be kinks to iron out and i suspect this is why the dev discouraged trading so early. We had similar issues with Nxt, but Nxt was not as soon on an Exchange as Qora, perhaps to its benefit. Hang in there, you will find and get your coins.

You need to spend a number of days with the exchanges trying to sort things out before you start complaining on here.

I did exactly that and I posted the details previously.

It was well known the Sharexcoin was far safer than Polinex so I traded there. I actually have 10m Qora there I bought. I might have problems myself so thats why i'm keeping them there. I'm just saying a few precautions could of gone a long way and moving rapidly between exchanges isn't being cautious.

I'm sure you will get your coins, you just might to wait a while. In the meantime can't you keep your issues off this thread. It creates a lot of negativity and suggests the client is falling apart rather than it is working pretty well.

Don't you remember the problems at the beginning of NXT, people losing coins, version after version coming out and coins stuck on Dgex? If you are concerned do as the developer says and don't trade. But I don't see how your every whim has to direct the early development of the coin jsut to satisy those who want to have no risk in a a project that is always going to be high risk at first. Sit on your coins and go trade something else for now.


I believe your kind of comments and similar attitude from others are potentially destroying the coin at this early stage.

I am qora holder and think qora is great, but please don't compare it to NXT.

NXT was never fully closed source with obfusicated source. BCNext did talk about his algo from the start and even told cfb everything and sent him the sourcecode to review it.

I don't even mind the trouble with forks at this moment, they are irrelevant in the long run.

What I care about is if the security is implemented correctly with this coin and not even qora knows that because a single person can and will always miss things. Even if he is the most genious person in the world.

Unless you didn't trade and you have these problems I think no ones argument is legit at this stage. The developer said not to trade. Focusing on setting up nodes is more important and we know the problem was cause more people weren't forging. I just think to suggest there is a security issue due to these issues is unfounded. No you were asking people to sell to you cheap, that a massive difference to people choosing to sell cheap. The true market value is way above what it is now, we will probably see the price get realistic once the other functions are implemented. The price won't stay down long. Plus what you were calling for was Qora to be fundamentally valued at a much lower price. Like I said completely different.

The difference is that you were just posting lots of crap trying to convince everybody that Qora should cost less. Gorillajam on the contrary says that Qora's prices is ridiculously low at the moment, but it's good for distribution and if some kind hearts or just dumb people are willing to dump at that price it's totally fine.
