list to a big exchange. yes, it will happen. but that is never our priority. Qora has a concise plan for Qora, and we r heading that direction.

Version 7 fix is now available!
In the early days of Nxt, there was at least instance where someone modified the Nxt binaries to transmit the passphrase to their own website, uploaded the modified binaries to a download site, and persuaded some people to use this. At least 3-4 people lost their coins because of this. As mega.co.nz links don't work for everyone (e.g. servers using curl/wget), direct download mirror links will be offered, and we need a way to verify these. The Nxt team put in a couple of measures to stop this, which I think work well: - Every download has a SHA256 hash - Every important message from the developer (especially those which include a download URL) is signed - The first post links to the signed post with the download link Could you please do something similar? There were four of us that lost Nxt as a result. I lost 147k Nxt. And it became the biggest distraction for Nxt for the next several weeks. Avoid the pain and the bad press - follow notsoshifty's suggestions, please.

This is pretty lame...still no coins in my wallet after withdrawing from Poloniex. This is what they have to say: "Hi Ivan, If it is on the blockchain, then it is gone from Poloniex. It's literally out of our control. I just double checked with our wallet manager, and no coin has been sent on a wrong fork. Make sure that your wallet is fully sync'd and on the right block. If you sent to an exchange, then they need to resolve it. Thank You" My wallet is QPvw2CMQdEBYPFeJmnnHsxmKZTpZCiJAic and I'm using the v7 fix client... http://coinia.net/qora/blockexplorer.php?q=QPvw2CMQdEBYPFeJmnnHsxmKZTpZCiJAic

Ok your right we probably do need that but aren't we safe if we only download from link in Qora's posts? or the OP? Someone can't bypass that and insert their link can they?

Didn't get any answer from them. I'm not sure we need one. Someone pointed out that Nxt multipool didn't get any attention although Nxt is much more popular atm.

I started this thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633799.msg7063710#msg7063710I know this is sort of stupid but I did this to test what people knew about Qora. You see I have recently come to the conclusion that almost no one has any interest in Qora, no massive rush to a new innovation in Crypto. When I trade on Sharexoin I'm literally the only one buying cause a day later my order is still the last one. Its bizarre. I think the guy who said Qora was part of the NXT family I think is the key. Because of so many clones and IPO's of NXT in the last months Qora I think is overlooked as some kind of NXT clone with a few added things thrown in. Its very early but apart fro the price putting it high in Coinmarketcap I would say Qora has less interest that the average shitcoin pump and dump. I wont make any conclusions but its clear to me people are clueless to Qora and what it is. This is both negative and positive however you want to look at it. The price was slowly rising on ShareX... then Polo added it, and everyone moved over there and the price tanked again. It bound to rise again as the client becomes more stable and the specifics of the PoS and other features are made clearer. I think my pint was more than just the price. I guess there is a few points in what I found but the main one is simply Qora compared to the 'bigness' of it as a completely new coded cryptocurrency people know very little about it. I mean remember the fuss about Emunie and they never even released in the end. I guess the other major point is that Qora in the minds of many is maybe just another NXT clone or some new reworking of NXT like say NXTL. The positive takeaway is that Qora is still widely unknown yet and that separating it in the minds of people as not part of NXT code is important. unless it really is BCNext which would be an even more positive takeaway of course.

Interesting survey (yet very small). NXT is going to take the press for the next month or so...big announcements coming. Qora will continue to implement changes in the client to create more stability as well as roll-out the website..can we expect to get these done by mid-June? We (qora) can continue to create and develop our plan that's laid out. That simple. Growth will come as the products develop.

So it isn't on the blockchain? NO... Poloniex withdrawal transactions never reached the chain... I've been telling them for days... they are showing COMPLETE but they themselves have NOT provided a Signature because THERE IS NONE!?!?!?!?! Sounds simply like a "frozen" client/blockchain. They probably installed and ran the daemon and have not debugged the client to see that it's not updating! And with at least a day to reply the communication process is very slow! Solution: 1. Anyone who submitted to Polo, submit ticket and continually pester until you get your Qora - dont use Polo again. 2. Those who have not traded on Polo, don't. 3. From our side: qora: release "mandatory" client update (even if it's not) with improved syncing so the exchanges must update clients.

Poloniex moderator (I guess) said if you have any problems with it you should open a ticket.

NO... they are clearly doing something wrong in their implementation ASIDE from the client having gone out of sync at certain points... the proof is sitting right there in everybody's accounts... they are showing COMPLETE for withdrawals (which they processed with a synced client) but they haven't provided a Signature because those transactions never got ANY confirmations on the chain. This happened with my NXT withdrawals two weeks ago. You are right, it's both....their implementation allows "completed" tx but does not confirm against the blockchain: i.e. their checkpoint is "upstream" of actual confirmation...it pains me how the exchanges don't allow deposit until blockchain confirmation but withdrawals process regardless. Fuckin racket! Polite pestering works for me with Polo. Angela is helpful..they are just busy. Again, mandatory update will "make" them update their implementation. Edit: I agree, they are to fault but it's life...simply does not help to piss off poloniex - they can fuck us. Even if it is their fault, what can we do?

What do you expect: the account has 441M qora Guess we are not seeing transparent forging implemented...yet Edit: interesting though to see income standings (the biggest holder is not biggest earner..bit of luck to play) - http://coinia.net/qora/blockexplorer.php?gen=20 Edit2: so in fact, we may be seeing an algo that accounts for weight being smaller and accounts with less qora can win/process blocks that "count", hmmm. And may only kick in when tx fees are present. Believe the data
