Lens is doing great this season by having more points ant to be in the second position but I don't see how lens will be on top of the league  when their is PSG.  PSG has always been known for leading the French league , I don't see lens having it.

This season Lens is still a temporary complement to second place and if Lens can continue to be able to stay in that position until the end of the season, then that will also be much better for him because next season he can immediately be in another competition such as the Champions League. As for PSG, it cannot be denied anymore because it has dominated the French Ligue 1 for a long time.

Lens as shown good efforts since the beginning of this season and I believe they have invested too much to have afford loosing that position, I'm only worried about PSG because they are already giving me cold feet concerning this year French League 1 title.they have been displaying winning inconsistency ever since the returned from the Qatar Fiffa world Cup, though it wouldn't be a bad thing to see Lens win the league 1 tittle,  after all PSG as dominated for years.

If Lens or Marseille want to really take the lead and beat PSG the golden moment to do that is only when PSG will be more focused on the Champions League,starting next month because in normal conditions the teams from Ligue 1 are really of lower quality compared to Paris.

I agree with you that the concentration built by Paris Saint Germain can be utilized by these two clubs. We all know how high their desire to win the Champions League is, so compared to Ligue 1 I'm sure they will prioritize their matches in the Champions League more. That could be a situation that Lens and Marseille can take advantage of, because usually if the coach is not good at rotating players, then there will be a decline shown. The point margin created now should really be utilized by them, I mean don't let them lose a lot of unexpected points, like some time ago. That would be very disastrous for them.

As Lens's performance improves day by day, PSG's performance deteriorates. The bond between PSG's players has weakened especially after the World Cup break. As a result, they lost two important matches. And yet if they are not able to stabilize themselves then they may soon lose the top spot in the table. However, PSG's squad is strong. And they have a lot of experienced players in their squad. Galtier is trying his best to stabilize the team. I think PSG will make a comeback in the next match. and will retain the top spot on the table.

You just need to be aware and wake up that PSG have only lost 2 in 19 matches, while PSG have also only drawn 2 in 19 matches. As a result you just have to think that Ligue 1 is not only about PSG and all the star players, but other teams also want to compete for a place and win the title. This proves that Lens and other teams are competitors in Ligue 1 so when people assume that PSG has no competitors, then that is the proof.

I'm pretty sure, if Igor Tudor's team are able to finish in second place in Ligue 1 until the end of the season. because, they no longer have a busy schedule of matches after being eliminated in the Champions League. only 2 points adrift with Lens, not a big obstacle for Marseille if they are able to smoothly win every game after game. in particular, next week's match which will host Monaco at the Orange Velodrome, home to Marseille. this result, important for Marseille. because, Monaco is not an easy opponent to beat even though Marseille is playing as the home team.

For Lens. Franck Haice's troops, have tough matches in the following weeks including leaving one meeting with Marseille. plus, having an away match at PSG headquarters. Lens are the home strongest team this season, I mean Lens won 100% of their home match so far and are the only team unbeaten at home.
For some reason Lens really wanted to maintain their good record at home, even though they were only able to win 3 of their 9 away matches. Lens are looking better this season but they are unlikely to win on the away match.

Meanwhile, Marseille are the better team away from home, where they have won 6 of their 9 matches so far. I also believe that Marseille is better than Lens, but Lens have proven that they can be the second team behind PSG. It will be interesting to see who will qualify for the Champions League directly this season between Lens and Marseille, but these 3 teams are close in points to fight for places even for the title.

Having a three-point gap is definitely not safe and even then, in other leagues when the top team has a gap wider than three points they are still not safe. I think Ligue 1 is indeed competitive, but the assumption that it is not competitive is said only because PSG is too superior to the other competing teams. I just want to ignore that assumption, even Ligue 1 is far more competitive than the Premier League and Serie A this season.

See how many difference in points is between the leaders and the second and next placed teams in Ligue 1, and compare it to Serie A or the Premier League. You should know that the points scored between competing teams is proof that a league is competitive. Not only the quality of the team and the style of play that proves whether a league is competitive or not, but the points earned between the teams should also be considered.

Simply because other teams in Ligue 1 do not have too much money. It's a top heavy league, and we do not see a team become second in position for 3-4 times in a row, if a team finishes second, they do not finish second again. Yes Mbappe is a very extraordinary player, he has contributed a lot to the team he is defending. But I think his selfishness is one of his weaknesses at the moment. Although now he can suppress that attitude, but sometimes at one point he suddenly gets out of control again.

Yes, the League One side is becoming more difficult as other teams adopt the same mentality as other reputable leagues such as the Premier League and Laliga; almost all teams are vying for the top spot, which is a very impressive season.

Lens is a team that I never expected to see higher than tenth in the League One table, but Lens is doing everything they can to qualify for the Champions League next season, and I am confident that if they have consistency, they can compete with PSG because the points difference is so small.
