It was a really big humiliation by Monaco against Ajaccio with a 7-1 score. Monaco were of course one of the productive teams in the league but this performance was surely an extra. It was Ben Yedder and Embolo's day. Ben Yedder made a really lovely hat-trick there. This is a big compensation for the Lorient draw certainly. Besides they have a chance to finish the week ahead of Rennes now as well.

Great, because Ben Yedder and Embolo are also competing for the top scorer list so far in Ligue 1, this is definitely a big advantage for Monaco because they have players with excellent goalscoring instincts. Whether it's an insult or not because of the big defeat that Ajaccio received, at least as a football spectator when a team has a lot of goals then the match will be more interesting to watch.
So yes, in a match any result can happen but yes, at this moment Ajaccio is very unlucky but if we consider their head to head record then it seems that at least Ajaccio is difficult to provide strong resistance for Monaco and it happened again this match.

An important challenge for Rennis today in the home game against PSG. They don't always take the games seriously lately, which could offer opportunities for the home team. They are also in 5th place which would qualify them for the Confrerence League. Teams are not waiting for that, but the top 4 seems quite far away, even though the difference in points is not that great. Lens is doing remarkably well this season. The champion of a few seasons ago, OSC Lille, is in a disappointing 6th place. I do wonder in what context PSG suddenly became so strong. Did that era begin when Ibrahimovic joined this club? Before that it was actually hardly a strong club and I don't think they could even qualify for the CL.

Monaco are trying to join the race for the Champions League spots. The job they did today was fascinating indeed. This kind of victories are always a big help for such teams to motivate themselves for their goals more. Maybe Monaco are not like in the past fighting for the league title anymore. But they can at least do their best to join the Champions League and increase their revenues at the same time. I think Monaco need much better transfers for some positions in the team to play bigger.

It is difficult for them to bring back their old times while fighting against this powerful PSG maybe. But they can at least experience the excitement of a title race again with the right actions.

I did a multibet and one of them is PSG now.
But seeing their difficult condition I started to be a bit pessimistic about my multibet even though I was quite happy to see Monaco and Nantes win.
PSG's current score is still 1 goal behind Rennes but PSG's performance still hasn't shown any signs of reversing the score at this time because if you look at the current line of attack they are still very confused and I haven't even seen 1 shot that on target.

I also made a bet here but indeed unwanted things happened. Their second defeat in the last 3 matches and this made Lens have a chance because indeed 3 points now seem like they can still be reached if PSG's performance does not return to how it was before.
The problem is for Lens they are also still having a bit of a problem, especially considering some of the results of their matches, even though the last 2 matches can still be considered good, there are still shortcomings there.

There are 2 of the Best World Cup players there I don't believe they do this I suspect they play unlike it should be, yes you know what I mean

It was a shocking result when I saw it, I even wondered how that was possible, it seemed like there was no one from the Ajaccio team playing, I wonder how the reaction of the coach, the players and the club's management must be after that humiliating defeat, probably it must be hard for the Ajaccio coach, because when a team has bad results it always comes down to the coach, he is the only one who is blamed and criticized, the press does not forgive in these cases, they make a lot of comments, many analyzes and always criticize the coach

I have this notion Gultier is been careful with his key players this period because it barely 4 weeks to the big match against Bayern so they are not really been much serious with their ligue 1 games. But PSG stil has three point above Lens and i am sure their subsequent matches will cover up for the two matches they have lost so far. PSG will always deliver but this period the UCL RO16 is a big distraction but i am sure they won't want to lose point to drop from the top.

Winning record Rennes today will be a good record for them, playing at home this season only lose one, also they are in the best top second position after Lens for awhile. PSG has been lose actually disappointing because they lost points in this match, very unexpected so that gap with Lens is closer, unreasonable with best world striker they couldn't make a scored in this match.

Troyes has 1 more win than Lille in their h2h record. It is 8 against 7 wins with 21 draws. But I'm surprised to see the prediction odds. Lille is given 1.38 whereas Troyes is given 7.80 odds even with the fact that Troyes always does very well while playing against Lille. And because Troyes had lost in their last two matches, I don't think a win will be easy for Lille as sighted by the bookmakers. Betting on Troyes to win or draw is a better risk to take.

In the end the odds conditions were definitely right in this match. Lille's advantage when playing at home was put to good use in this game and of course this is something good for them.
It was a great score in this game and I thought it was something that was beyond expectations but I like the result.
In other matches I was also quite amazed when I saw Monaco destroy Ajaccio.

Well Neymar and Messi aren't in their best days, Mbappe didn't play in the first half and in a part of the second one. PSG didn't advanced well lately with 2 defeats in 3 games making Lens 3 points away from them and Marseille 5 points away.
We are now in the half of the season and we can say that PSG failed to secure a large gap from the others. This season is quite interesting in Ligue 1

PSG have been inconsistent again to win after losing against Rennes in Ligue 1. I don't understand what made PSG so difficult in this match, Messi's return should have made the game more lively. Looking at PSG's statistics, they are far superior with 6 shots on target, but it seems that this is just a matter of finishing which keeps PSG from scoring. With this result, PSG cannot widen the distance from Lens on the standings, while Lens only needs 3 more points to match PSG's points.
