We need to see more competition in the French league to make it increase its rating in the European football environment. Rennes win against PSG excited me because last season the latter had a free run but this season looks very different. Rennes really surprised me because they defended and attacked effectively. The catalogue of world class players in the team became ineffective because of Rennes' desperation and diligence. But from the look of things in terms or quality and financial strength, I feel no team might be able to unseat the current champions. We saw them outplaying Angers, which is a clear indication that they are still the number one in France.

The Parisians are the giants of ligue 1, that's fact one must know. They're the best team in the league, with good quality players, sufficient funds, making them go for any player in the transfer market with ease without thinking about the bid value. With PSG's current performance it is very difficult to defend the Ligue 1 title, especially since the teams under it now have a close distance to PSG. I can't guarantee whether PSG can win Ligue 1 this season if they keep losing. It really needs a stable victory if you don't want to be overtaken by other teams in the top 4 and that is homework for coach Christophe Galtier and his team.

And strengthening the bonds between the star players has become Galtier's most difficult task. However, I believe that PSG's performance will be stronger if the friendship between Mbappe and Neymar develops.

The French league is becoming Interesting this season because  some teams are trying their best to meet PSG position.  If Lens succeed in taking PSG  position it will look somehow because PSG has 3 best players that by right the first is supposed to occupied and maintained by PSG.

It's been looking interesting for the French League this season, but PSG still has a chance to maintain its position at the top of the standings by keeping itself from losing and drawing more in the remaining matches this season. And PSG also have to win often for this reason because their rivals this season will definitely continue to try to get rid of PSG from the top of the standings, especially if the points are not too far apart as seen now in the temporary standings.

PSG are at the top and being champions is a real certainty but given the current conditions with the opportunity for competition given the points they can still catch of course this is something interesting.
Even though in the end it remains the same in terms of results, I would enjoy it if there were several teams that could match PSG in terms of competition because this indicated that other teams could still compete even if PSG were dominated by great players.

How can a world class club like PSG was losing against rennes.
