Marseille Is actually in the second place right now and I do expect them to hold on to their position. But the problem is the competition is really good around them. Rennes and Monaco are really close by the end. The way Monaco is playing today's match I think there will be the winners of this match and then they will have the same points as Marseille. And then it will be much harder for them.

Most chances they will keep their place second, but their form is on decline as right now they are struggling badly against Nantes and having result of 2 - 2 after 70 minutes which is poor from their standard with few teams are doing hard for their chances for next season's Champions League like Monaco's sudden fight back is amazing now they are at fourth with most chances they will jump at third and can challenge Marseille for their second spot.

In other matches Rennes fights back against Strasbourg and now both teams level with 1 - 1, but Lyon is trailing by 1 - 0 and can face defeat with PSG is also having healthy lead of 0 - 2 against Angers. Lens is also fighting hard for their third consecutive win against Montpellier as they are leading by 1 - 0 at home.

Monaco had a really tough game against Nice today. But they still managed to win this one by 1-0. It was a good win by them as it was helpful for them to reach the fifth place in the league table also. Nice are really like they are having a nightmare recently and they are still unable to wake up. Very good results Marseille managed to beat Nantes and get 3 points, it made Marseille further away from several rival teams. The problem is
that Marseille's position is not safe, Marseille's points can still be pursued. for that Marseille must make sure to win all the remaining matches.
The problem is that Marseille must face at least 3 strong teams, and I don't believe that Marseille will be able to beat all three teams.
Lyon, Rennes and Strasbourg are the three teams that might make Marseille drop points. Therefore, the competition for the 2nd position is

Since the points gap between the teams is very small, it may not be certain that Marseille will be in second place. But Marseille are more likely to be in second place at the table. Anger lost their home game to the Ligue 1 Brobdingnagian. PSG thrashed Anger 3 goals to Neil without  considering that  they were small team in the league. PSG have been doing a remarkable performance ever since they got knock-out of the Champions league by real Madrid, becauseecause all their focus turn to their league. Pochettino needs to enforced his team for the champions league next season and he should be able to know the kind of players the team needs and how to use them in a game. I'm quite amazed by Monaco's improvement in the last few games, even in the last 7 matches Monaco managed to get 6 wins and only one loss.
That's a great achievement in my opinion, even from those 6 wins, two wins are very surprising. Monaco managed to beat PSG and Marseille
who are currently in the top position. If Monaco can finish the remaining 5 matches with a positive result, there is a possibility of Monaco
