A very tough game is waiting for Rennes now. It is a home game against Marseille and it is one of their hardest games in this season that's for sure. Marseille don't want to lose their place to Monaco in the final moments of the season. I don't think that they will lose against Rennes here. Rennes have no choice other than fighting for a win here. They will need to take risks too otherwise it doesn't seem to be likely for them to be in the Champions League. I think both teams will score.

Rennes is definitely a strong opponent. However, Marseille is not a weak team. Their recent performance is good enough. They certainly don't want to lose their place in the points table. Marseille were able to win the last two matches against Rennes. And so maybe they will try to continue this continuity. In today's match I expect Marseille to win. However, the match is not less likely to draw.

So far so good except that I didn't place a bet! I expected more than a week that Monaco will be in the second place and they did it thanks to Rennes defeating Marseille
Next round is quite challenging for both, maybe a bit harder for Marseille but Monaco should win to guarantee a CL spot!

Monaco beat Brest 4-2 home but it wasn't easy at all. Brest got 2-0 ahead first and it was astonishing for me. But Monaco made a comeback that was unbelievable and won like this. They completely deserved it. And Rennes had a much tougher game against Marseille. I wasn't expecting a very positive result for Rennes but they managed to win 2-0 too. And now the look of the standings is like this:

Monaco's performance was outstanding in the second half, Monaco's victory against Brest is indeed very important for them to be able to shift
Marseille's position. It can be seen that the fighting spirit of the Monaco players is very high, finally managed to make Monaco win and now Monaco
managed to be in second position. Now Monaco only need to focus on winning one more game against Lens, if Monaco manages to beat Lens,

For today match i think Monaco will strong at 3rd position because lately they were showed impressive performance in France league that they had 8 consecutive win and since March Monaco unbeatable although their next opponent Brest is not weak team but i think 3 points will belongs to Monaco so pick for them as bet option i think is a good choice

What a day in French League as I was also expecting third spot for Monaco but after end of first half I have feeling now most chances they will stay at fourth or fifth but Marseille and Monaco both done great jobs and Marseille lost against spirited Rennes by 2 - 0 and Monaco done comeback with 4 - 2 which is now giving them second spot behind leaders PSG and Marseille have to stay at third spot as now they are going to fight against Strasbourg and Monaco is having match against Lens.

Even things are not easy but most chances Monaco will win and stay at second with just Strasbourg is going to lose his spot as they are going to face Marseille and Nice is going to replace them which need last day win against Reims.

There is no doubt today we have one off best days in French soccer league because we have some very entertaining matches which big some entertainment for all fans around the world with few shocking results now most chance's table is going to stay as same because PSG is already champions and Monaco is going to face Lens and their amazing run which having nine wins from ten games is giving them this spot with Marseille is having lose in crucial game against Rennes which is giving them third spot with now Rennes is going to face Lille if they won then surely going to stay here otherwise most chances they will finish at fifth because Nice going to face Reims and Strasbourg having tough game against Marseille.

I also believe Monaco will be more confident and win later in the last game of this season, Lens is not a weak opponent but statistics show Monaco are superior to Lens in several head to head both teams. While Marseille will struggle against Strasbourg this team also want to steal points as well to at least stay in 5th position.

There is still hope for Rennes, even though it's small, marseille will not provide an easy way for Rennes because they are also threatened by Monaco if they make a mistake in the match vs Rennes. Looks like this season Rennes buried his dream for the UCL next season.

and it happened, monaco managed to win 4-2 from brest but marseille had to lose 2-0 to rennes.  and currently in the standings monaco and marseille both have 68 points but monaco is superior "goal difference" and makes them currently in rank 2.  i predict that marseille has no hope of shifting Monaco to rank 2.

They have moved up to the second position in the standings now after defeating Brest in a really difficult game. Marseille shouldn't have lost this game to Rennes. Actually the match Montpellier vs PSG is not interesting to watch, because the result of this match does not affect the two teams. After all,
it is not surprising that PSG won with a big enough score against Montpellier. Because Montpellier's form has been so poor in recent matches,
especially with the quality of the players that PSG have, it is not difficult to beat Montpellier. Perhaps what is interesting is how Messi performed
very well in that match by scoring two goals, it looks like Messi is starting to adapt to playing at PSG.  I still believe Messi will stay at PSG

He is at his peak age and what i can see that he is not having an explosive spirit as great as what cristiano did , messi might enjoying his paycheck very well and planning for the retirement , i don't see any excitement in his eyes nor in his gesture especially after the champions league total failure , messi has no goal in his peak career in my opinion.

All it takes is for Rennes to win, and either Monaco or Marseille to lose the final game, and they're through on goal difference... +42 now, which is second highest in the league.

Take PSG out and they have the best offence, second best defence, won as many games as their fancier opponents, you don't think that's more deserving than anyone else in Ligue 1? Not a big follower so maybe you know something dastardly about them I don't haha. But on merit of table, they may have lost more games but they only need to win 1 more game and hope one of the other 2 lose, think that's a fair gain.

It was another weekend win for both PSG and Monaco as they successfully managed to upset the defense of their opponents. I feel this win for Monaco was needed as they are in the 2nd position but not yet in the clear as Marseille are hot on their heels. They will need to keep winning if they still want to retain their position as Marseille next game against Strasbourg will determine if they will be pushed to third.

PSG condition this season is unbalanced, although they lifted the Ligue trophy which was not enough for them, they needs to improve in their attacking squad next season because the champions are weigh too high for competitions. PSG are among the one of the club team in the world that has one of the best lineups, infact only their Frontlines, Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, this Frontlines are goal scoring machinery. But to our greatest surprised, they still loses games and even got eliminated from the champions league after Karim Benzema remarkable hattrick in the second leg of the knock-out rounds. PSG boss, Pochettino still have big works to do in the team.

The golden boot may go to Mbappe with his 26 goals so far, he is 2 goals ahead of Ben Yedder who has scored 24 goals but maybe that could still change as there is one match left for the league this season.

Meanwhile, Monaco and Marseille are still fighting for a place in the Champions League next season. They are both going into the final match that will decide their fate this season and whoever drops points will not qualify for the Champions League. I think Monaco is good to be in the Champions League next season, but because they are 68 points together, anything is still possible.
