PSG regained consciousness when Mbappe returned. They have a hard time without him. The absence of Messi and Neymar didn't affect PSG that much. The leader of this team has always been Mbappe. The reality check will once again be the Champions League for PSG. Ligue 1 games aren't the real test for them. I can't think of a situation where PSG is considered one of the favorites in the Champions League Even if they win every single game in Ligue 1 for the next three months, I would still not consider them one of the top four or top five teams to win the Champions League.  I also don't think that the depth of their squad is sufficient. If Mbappe gets injured, it is game over for them in the more important Champions League games. Given that Dembele is also injured quite often, this season could become a nightmare for them.
