Real Sociedad is a strong team. In their first match against PSG, they had injured players and were very impressed with them. Real Sociedad was good team with their recent performance are surely never been at his best because in last eight games they are having just one win and their attack is also terrible which fail to give them anything positive while in last eight games we have just 3 goals from them which is giving all view about their performance and future in this big event where they are already having 2 goals into their first leg game and have to do hard work if they want to become on level against PSG in second leg game.

No doubt they were good in early rounds of this season, but now they are suffering badly and have to give their best if they want to end with better results most chances we will have PSG in next round without any serious trouble because they are surely at his best and things are completely under their control after the first leg vital lead which allow them for having victory of 2–0.

With the 11 point lead they have I think I agree with you. There would be nothing embarrassing if PSG lost to Rennes in that match. Maybe it will be a great achievement for Rennes fans as they will become the second team to beat PSG. But for PSG it will not change anything in the standings table. I think currently PSG is focusing on the Champions League match. They can play without pressure in league matches because of the points advantage they have. I think the teams that actually need to work hard to maintain their position are Brest and Monaco because their points are not much different from those ranked below them. I think the fight for the 2 remaining tickets to the Champions League will be very interesting to watch.

Yes they can play without pressure and yet they will win most of their games because the difference in quality of the teams across the whole league is too big. There is PSG and then there is nothing for a very long time until maybe Monaco or some team has decent quality, but none of the teams can get remotely close to what PSG has in their team. That's why the upcoming results can't be taken fully seriously. If in this phase of the season when PSG is 11 points ahead some team wins against them or ties a game, it doesn't mean that it was an extraordinary performance of that team. It is more likely that PSG just doesn't care anymore, which is quite boring to be honest.

As of now we have 11 rounds left with 11 points difference mean is all is well for the leaders and their quality and consistency is unmatchable in this league no other team is capable of giving them challenge even now if they will play with their mostly reserve players things will be under control because mostly other teams are having no quality of their level and their consistency is also not good in last few weeks we have some improvement into few teams, but now things are completely under PSG control with Monaco and Brest are doing good, but their performance is also not as they can create problems for the leaders.

Now Lille and Nice can create problems for the Monaco which is currently at third and now having challenge against PSG but here again we need consistency from these teams which are not going as they needed because mostly are suffering due to lack of funds which are important for the best from them.

I find what you said as very accurate. PSG leaders have enough money to throw in buying names rather than what they need in reality to boost the team regardless of names but skills and long-term performance.
Without citing names, PSG signed many players that turned out to be useless. Same mistake is being done intentionally by Saudi Pro League since they are trying to make others know better their league. For PSG, things are very different since they are known and their fans want a star from Champions League rather than just taking the French league every time. They need a solid strategy not just a show. I find it as a business model more than a team that want Champions League title.

Well the way most clubs play doesn’t reflect on how they up their performance in Europe and it’s auite worrisome to he club’s name. PSG is one team that’s always dominated the French league but when it comes to playing in Europe, they’re nothing to write home about. The way they play in the league is quite different from how they play in Europe.

 And this kind of factor is worrisome as it brings bad name to the club and the fans doesn’t have the much confidence in the team. It's interesting what you say about Paris Saint Germain being an All Star club with no strategy, but I seem to agree with you. They don't lack star players every season, but they also always struggle in the Champions League, I even forgot the last time they played well in the Champions League, if I'm not mistaken it was in the semi-final against Real Madrid? Correct me if I'm wrong.

They're a strong giant in Ligue 1, but that's not the case when they're in the Champions League, because in the Champions League they've got really balanced competitors that are even better than them. Real Madrid, Manchester City are the popular names in the Champions League these days, and when compared to them, Paris Saint Germain are still below the level of the two clubs I mentioned.

My prediction was actually correct if the match would end in a draw but my mistake was just thinking that both clubs would score but it turned out that both clubs maintained their goals without conceding.

One thing you shouldn't forget is that, Luis Enrique also is a great coach who has also a good experience of the Champions League Competition.
Mind you , he's as well won the Competition with Barcelona and could do the same thing with Paris Saint Germany but tat would definitely take a long time to actually see that happening.
I love the manager, even without special players he'd thrive but they'd be needing these special players you know? This was the same thing done by Manchester City you know, they brought in a top manager with experience and also signed up special and quality players.

PSG with Enrique was changed a lot and now this team is not dependent on players like Messi and Neymar but I think PSG without Mbappe is going to be weaker than this. Monaco used to be a tough opponents for PSG always because they are the only team that usually come close to them almost every season in the title race, but it is almost too late for Monaco as PSG already gaped them with 13 points, they are not more a title contenders this season, they are just making effort to make to the Champions League next season.

Monaco should have been the favorites in this match on paper, but I don’t think they can defeat PSG with their current form. PSG won four in their last five matches while Monaco won just two. Even though statistics and h2h shows that Monaco is good against PSG, I don’t think this time they can even get a draw because they are not playing well as expected this season.

That's one good thing about PSG because they have the finance to get any players they feel is good for them in terms of improving there level of performance because that alone is one of the greatest advantage because financial challenges has been what so many clubs has been facing concerning not being able to afford a good players when the need arises, so perhaps I agree with you that PSG has the capacity through there resources to dominate the league as long as they want because they have structure the club in such a way that other clubs can hardly win them because even if you check there current statistics you will see they have a very good wining record this season and do to there consistent performance they have not been able to lose any matches for there last 19 matches they have played, perhaps that's one of the ways to no how good a club is.

PSG's challenge now is to make an impression in the Champions League, not win domestic crowns. However, their strategy (or lack thereof) has been holding them back in Europe. Giving money to renowned people is tempting, but without a strategy, its like cooking a gourmet cuisine without a recipe. Without direction, even the best ingredients yield poor results.

There is no team that can stop PSG from winning Ligue 1 as long as they have unlimited money power, even if there are teams like Lyon, Monaco and other teams that can win Ligue 1, it is probably very rare and we will not even see Ligue 1 champions other than PSG happen in 5 or 10 seasons once, currently PSG is very firmly at the top of the standings without any pressure from other teams, since the season started, PSG has continued to progress very easily against every team in the league so this clearly shows the quality of PSG compared to other clubs in the league. Of course both of the teams will try to do their very best and there is no doubt about that part but at the same time PSG is just too far ahead normally. If you say the match will be exciting then I really agree with you, but if you say this match is a place of proof and prestige, to be honest I'm quite confused because PSG doesn't need to prove anything in Ligue 1  because at the moment the trophy is actually within reach PSG, while for Monaco I don't think they have anything to prove because after becoming Ligue 1 champions in 2016-2017, Monaco are no longer able to get it and are only focused on getting into the top 3 like they did this season, if you hopes PSG lose of course I also want that to happen, but it looks like it will be very difficult for PSG lose in the league and the proof is that this season PSG has only lost 1 time.


Currently, Monaco is in third place and only has a difference of 2 points from Brest in second place and 1 point from Nice below it, to automatically secure their opportunity to play in the Champions League next season,  of course Monaco must be able to win against PSG and hope that Brest and Nice lost in other match so that Monaco can still stay in the top three, the match between Monaco and PSG will definitely be very tight considering that Monaco is targeting 3 points in that match, while for PSG, the match against monaco doesn't seem to have much of an effect on their chances of trophy, but as you said of course PSG also don't want their unbeaten streak to be broken by Monaco in that match.

In Ligue 1, until this season there have been no serious challengers but it is still possible that next season there will be challengers. Lyon and Marseille have the potential to become their challengers, like Bayern Leverkusen in the Bundesliga who are challengers to Bayern Munich.

Most likely socidad may not be able to get pass this stage of the champions league because they are been faves by a team thats way superior than they are and this includes both in strength, form and depth so their chances around Real Madrid continues to be slim and such that they are most likely to not succeed or get pass this stage but then Real Madrid wouldn't and shouldn't take them for granted so they don't get to make qualifications turn out too difficult for them much more than it should have been normally, as the first leg was a huge success then most definitely the second leg which will happen to be their last shot, they will be giving only but the best to make sure they stay ahead and proceed unto the next stage of the champions league.

Beyond this stage I think Madrid may gradually beginning to face more tough and serious teams because so far it's been looking much like an easy game for them but they will soon get to where it will become more of a fierce battle as the trophy is been contended for even by the current defending champions who are willing to make sure they aswell get back the trophy this season again.
