I find what you said as very accurate. PSG leaders have enough money to throw in buying names rather than what they need in reality to boost the team regardless of names but skills and long-term performance.
Without citing names, PSG signed many players that turned out to be useless. Same mistake is being done intentionally by Saudi Pro League since they are trying to make others know better their league. For PSG, things are very different since they are known and their fans want a star from Champions League rather than just taking the French league every time. They need a solid strategy not just a show. I find it as a business model more than a team that want Champions League title.

PSG with Enrique was changed a lot and now this team is not dependent on players like Messi and Neymar but I think PSG without Mbappe is going to be weaker than this. Winning the French League is not the first goal for them and I think for a team like PSG with all the players they have and superstars in this team, this cannot be hard for them to win the French League but still the first goal for them is winning the Champions League which is what they never could reach in the past.

I think the opening match this week is a big match and I think both Monaco and PSG will always show their prestige when facing each other. I am happy that since the draw, PSG has been much more open and considering that next season they will almost certainly not have their star, namely Mbappe, so Luis Enrique is starting to get used to his players without being dependent on the captain of the French national team. I think whatever points PSG will get at the end of this season will be very meaningful and also with a difference of 11 points ahead of Brest, PSG will have enough time to try new strategies later. If you say the match will be exciting then I really agree with you, but if you say this match is a place of proof and prestige, to be honest I'm quite confused because PSG doesn't need to prove anything in Ligue 1  because at the moment the trophy is actually within reach PSG, while for Monaco I don't think they have anything to prove because after becoming Ligue 1 champions in 2016-2017, Monaco are no longer able to get it and are only focused on getting into the top 3 like they did this season, if you hopes PSG lose of course I also want that to happen, but it looks like it will be very difficult for PSG lose in the league and the proof is that this season PSG has only lost 1 time.

IMO, PSG not only needs to improve their performance in the attack line but PSG needs experience.
I mean PSG usually always change coaches every time they fail to win a title in the UCL and things like this are a team's mistake of not giving the coach the experience to be able to correct mistakes in the past to become stronger to face the UCL in the following season whereas to win the UCL title a coach requires the right strategy and this strategy can be created when a coach succeeds in gaining experience in the last round, for example in this round PSG failed in the quarter finals and in the following season Enrique has a strategy to win the title in the semi finals.

Monaco are alarming in defense and conceding too many goals, but at the same time they are effective in attack and look like they can score more goals than they concede. However, due to their defensive problems, they don't inspire confidence in the side betting. Paris St Germain continue to lead in a very comfortable position despite last week's draw. Any club definitely has a target to become champions in the Champions League, even Real Madrid, which has won many titles in the Champions League, has never given up on continuing to get them because that proves that they are the strongest club in Europe, as is PSG's target who wants to get this prestigious title. For years PSG have really wanted to achieve this so they can compete like other top clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
