In second half, the mission of Blues was to just keep on defending and push on counters. They did get one or two breaks but didn't get to a goal. While Liverpool were pushing very since the start of first half and they also quite had some chances but Mendy saved them all proving his worth.

I watched the second half to the end, and it's true that Chelsea defended well despite the lack of players. Several times the counter-attack was quite dangerous to Alison Becker's goal but unfortunately failed to become a goal. Chelsea came under heavy pressure during the second half as Liverpool desperately wanted to win, but nothing changed and the two only drew until the end.

I thing there was a bit of disappointment on Liverpool's part for failing to win the game even though they had some perfect chance to do so. The red card for a Chelsea player didn't benefit Liverpool, Chelsea were really tough.

Chelsea become more difficult to be beaten with Tuchel. They defensed very well after Reece James's red card and they tried to fight back in last minutes. If they had shot more accurately, they even would have won the match.

Liverpool has a great match as well but from two team performance, they deserve to get one point.

In the last season, Liverpool has troubles with their defense system because of injuries. They did not have new players to increase their alternative player resource and this season will be another challenge for Klopp.

I saw that Manchester City simply finished Arsenal off with a score like 5-0. It is really huge. I guess not the majority were expecting this much goal difference at the end before the match started. The red card played a big role on a result like this. But I must say also that Arsenal didn't play good until they were shown the red card in the 35th minute. It was already obvious that they would lose with a similar result.

Yeah, I said the exact same thing in my second last sentence.    They were really bad until the red card and the score was already 2-0. Maybe they would have scored by Ederson's mistake but it didn't find the net. Even if it did, City would still destroy them I believe. And yeah, when Sterling comes in, the other players are directly starting to play with him. But they can't try to play with him all the time. It can harm the game plan.

I think so too. Chelsea has signed romelu lukaku, a star who is coming back. He was already with Chelsea from 2011. Last season he scored 24 goals in Serie A, only Ronaldo had more (30 goals). The offense will be very strong this year with him, hopefully no injury.

What a great start from Manchester City against Arsenal here. They are 2-0 ahead by scoring 2 goals in 5 minutes already at the beginning of the match. Gundogan and Torres scored the goals. I think that they have already finished Arsenal. But I still expect to see more goals from City. They might score at least 4 goals to Arsenal I think.

This club is literally finished. Making us believe that today will be a good day and giving us false hopes and in the end frustrating us day by day. Arteta is the worst manager in our history really why would you start Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe in the same team with Rob  holding and Calum Chambers  protecting the goal what kind of team selection is this. You shouldn’t have expose Xakha like that, he is always going to make mistakes. I saw this coming. I think the process to championship football is really shaping up. The result I expected happened and both teams scored goals. But it was not hard to predict that, I get it. My favorite team managed to get one point here even though they played with ten players during the whole second half. Liverpool tried everything they could but it didn't ended up with a goal at the end. Chelsea must be pleased about the result but Liverpool are not of course.

Yes it was a competitive game and in my opinion chelsea team was better in the first half weve seen how dangerous they were and how they played both defensively and with counter attacks but changed the performance in the second half but still they kept their strong defensive strategies and almost all liverpool dangerous chances were from shots outside the box but with a good goal keeper as mendy they did not score and after what i ve seen this far it seems that chelsea are the favourite team this season.

Chelsea might not be the biggest favourite team for title as there are huge Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool threats for them. But yeah, they are one of the biggest candidates for the championship this time. I see an even more powerful Chelsea in this season. Tuchel is just starting to what he aims to do.    Not much time after he came, Chelsea won even the Champions League title. This is insane. And the new target is the Premier League championship.

I watched a great and entertaining match yesterday between Liverpool and Chelsea.
Overall that was a wasted opportunity for Liverpool since the Reds didn't go past 1-1 against Chelsea, despite playing the entire second half in numerical superiority for the red card of James in the recovery of the first half of the game. The Blues took the lead midway through the first half with Havertz's header, then Salah converted the penalty.
Glad to see Liverpool getting tough again.

Lukaku returned to Chelsea when he is in his golden time in his career and finally he is in the position that can compare to Didier Drogba. It is not about position at the bottom but about the very low mentality in Arsenal. In any club, after few bad results, mentality can be broken and teammateship can be broken. Conflicts occur and destroy the club then after all, board director will have to make desicion, club or coach or players. Coahc is never their priority.
