Very far for Liverpool to finish in the top four, their performance does not reflect being able to enter the top four. The other teams that are ranked in the top four have always been consistent, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle and Tottenham are still able to maintain their positions supported by their best performances. Manchester United and Chelsea can also prevent Liverpool from getting into the top four. Without improved performance and consistent positive results, Liverpool will miss next season's Champions League.

It depends on how you determine the consistent it is, if you look on the previous season you will see Livepool and Chelsea always in the top 5. Premier League still have around 20 matches again, anything is possible and Liverpool's performance seems to improve in the Champions League. Newcastle and Arsenal are lucky on the early phase of Premier League, we don't know how consistent they're especially Newcastle.

So far I'm still quite confident with Arsenal's consistency in the EPL, while Newcastle maybe depend on how far Liverpool or even Chelsea try to restore their performance. The improving situation between Chelsea and Liverpool can be a big threat for Newcastle to maintain their current position in the standings
After all, the Premier League is still half a season away, anything can happen in the next few months.

Liverpool was the runners up of the English Premier League title the last season. This type of performance from them this season is absolutely unexpected for almost everyone. I still have hope. I think Liverpool will be able to do much better after the World Cup. But I highly doubt that they will be able to win the English Premier League title from here on.

I do think that Newcastle United is getting a little lucky. But at the same time, it is also true that they have got even better players with that huge amount of money from the new owner of the club. But I still do not feel that they have reached that certain position from where they will be able to finish the English Premier League being on the third position. So I think they will drop a few places in the English Premier League table.

I heard that Newcastle is also hunting for great players and reportedly Pulisic is on their radar after Pulisic showed a brilliant performance while defending the US in the world cup. with abundant money, I know that newcastle can buy any player they want but not all players want to play for them because there are many players who are loyal to their current club or indeed newcastle's potential is still very small to get a trophy.

At this time, Howe has said that he could be a suitable player for Newcastle. Actually, in terms of attack, they still have Isak, but until now he is still struggling with his injury, so this possibility is a good option.
But it is clear that this is not easy, when Chelsea brought Pulisic from Dortmund, they were in the price range of 57 million and it is very likely that this will still increase, especially thanks to his good performance in the World Cup.

Manchester United still need some additions to the squad to play a more consistent match. Erik ten Hag should also make the right choices depending on the strength of their opponents. They are a really interesting team now too. Because there are some big matches that they won by showing a really good performance. But they lost many points easily against smaller teams at the same time. They need to find a balance between these to stay competitive until the end of the season.

I have to say that the point margin is quite large, but they still do have a chance to decrease the gap and move on top. I think it is going to be really challenging for them to win the league but they can surely make the top 4 because Manchester United has to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the EPL and their coach has to find the best combination of teams to compete in this competitive league.

Moreover, they just released Ronaldo from the squad and now they are lacking a lethal striker. Although Liverpool now have 24 matches to go, they really need to play consistent football in order to finish the league in the top four and I don't think they will be able to win the league this time.

I' so much have confidence in arsenal because they already have that quality players that can still keep the team to be consistent.  For arsenal to be consistent till this time it is possible for them to remain consistent.

Maybe some big teams have had bad days so far but the second half of the season might not be the same. Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea all have a chance to fight more seriously for top 4 in the rest of the season. We aren't even in the middle of the season technically.

This is why Newcastle might need some new signings to keep the team strong. They need to keep their mental condition as good as possible just as they have done so far. Even if they finish the season right below top 4 this would still be a good success for them with this squad of course.

It is not easy to suddenly become good just because you bought some players. I am not saying that West Ham is a bad team, obviously as we can see they are a good team but it doesn't mean that they are going to be that much better suddenly, they are good but that's about it and we should move on with it.

I feel like the fact that they spent money means nothing, if that was the only thing that give you results, Chelsea would have been leading the whole league, but they are not, barely in top 4 right now, and not doing awesome, even though they are the ones that spent the most money. This is why it's clear to me that West Ham needs more seasons like this to get good.

West Ham will most likely be able to make improvements in the winter window because for now we see them to be in 16th place in the standings with a collection of points that are quite close to teams who are in the relegation zone.

Oh, yes, I understand even if Newcastle would be called a strong average team, but it's impossible to call them a small team after the middle of last season. And their weight will only increase and probably they can be called a big team already at the end of this season with a good combination of circumstances, because Newcastle is already a big club in terms of money, but not always big money gives a big result. After all, the English Premier League is the richest European championship in Europe in finance, so you can't automatically pull off the same scenario as happened in France with Paris Saint Germain, whose budget is an order of magnitude higher than all its domestic competitors.

Maybe in this case Manchester City can be a good example for the EPL or indeed PSG in Ligue 1.
For now it may still not be possible but in a few years I think if the owner doesn't change and if the reforms in a better direction continue to be made with the money they currently have it's not impossible they will be able to break the dominance of the current big team.
We know the cruelty of the EPL in terms of competition, but we also know the real example of Manchester City before being bought by Seikh Mansour and after being bought by Seikh Mansour. did not rule out this will also happen to Newcastle.

Manchester city are indeed a team to emulate in the EPL, since the take over by Seikh Mansour a lot has changed in terms of financial capabilities of the club, they are able to sign preferred players of their choice which has brought about a positive change and impact to the squad. This Manchester City is far much better than it was before Seikh Mansour takeover.

They are inconsistent, but so far they are doing better than Liverpool in my opinion and would likely do more. Eric Ten has been more under pressure from Ronaldo and others, but now that they have both cut ties, he can use his boys however he sees fit, and no one will question his judgment. The likelihood of Liverpool switching them from that position would be tough and hard work because I don't think their squad is complete to finish the task and Manchester United will also push further to overcome others that preceded them.

Moreover, they just released Ronaldo from the squad and now they are lacking a lethal striker. Although Liverpool now have 24 matches to go, they really need to play consistent football in order to finish the league in the top four and I don't think they will be able to win the league this time.

They have always lacked good stickers and even with Ronaldo's absence, the structure remains the same but I look forward to the January transfer window to see their new deal, Manchester United is cooking some new players and from what I learnt, they are young and energetic for the team.

I hope that it won't be that kind of an investment. Because they already have a 1 billion euro transfer budget in their hands as far as I know. I can't even imagine that much money together in my mind.    With a budget like this they should be definitely targeting to make huge signings especially next summer.

I hope that it won't be that kind of an investment. Because they already have a 1 billion euro transfer budget in their hands as far as I know. I can't even imagine that much money together in my mind.    With a budget like this they should be definitely targeting to make huge signings especially next summer.

I absolutely agree, playing the champions league will attract more players because not all the players looking just for money but for competition and improvement, that's why qualifying to the champions league will surely make their Mercato more successful in my opinion

The hardest part about the top four for other teams is that Liverpool is still there, and they are not sure what's going to happen. They are at 22 points with 14 games, assuming lets say it became 25 points with 15 games, that's 4 points away from top four.

Now, the question is that will they be moving forward with everything that they have and win more games than others and disrupt that top four and get in there? Or will they end up playing badly again and not get in there. If they somehow do get in top four, then it is Arsenal and City and Liverpool, leaving just one team available for there, and that's a tough question to answer. You never know, this is last years almost champions in both premier league and ucl, so anything could happen.

Liverpool will definitely improve higher after the break, because they will not allow that poor performance continue with them than to put more effort to ensure they score more goals to improve their points. I think, anything can still happen that will make Liverpool to return back to second position in this premier league table, because their players are very ready to apply strategies that will make them to achieve victory in their remaining matches. I don't think, Arsenal will continue with that first position in the premier league table after the break, because Manchester city will definitely collect that position after the FIFA world cup competition.

Their position might still be safe if we see the next few matches. They should be able to win the next game in a row, on paper, they are stronger. Later, when they have to play against Arsenal, maybe this will determine whether they will be overtaken by Tottenham or not. They have to try as much as possible, moreover, their points are only a point different from Tottenham's. It will not be easy to maintain the position. Unless Tottenham also loses in the next match.

Man United may have been struggling very well so far. But don't know what will happen after the World Cup. But here, Liverpool and Chelsea, are really hard positions. They must take over Man United to be able to be in the top 5 and qualify for the next UCL.

I second that, Newcastle have the funds required to sign world class players, they can afford just about anyone but they can't allure world class players just yet because the club is not as of yet competitive for trophies, and they aren't playing in the CL. But they could make their job for next summer transfer window pretty easier depending on how they finish this season. It is extremely difficult for Newcastle to finish in the top four, but i imagine if they can possibly pull that off, they would thus have it easier convincing very decent players to join them next summer. A place in the Europa League wouldn't be bad, but they would still be unable to get some kind of quality players if they are in the Europa League.

Having said that, Newcastle's new status in terms of money they have will take some time before it pushes them to be contenders for the EPL, they first have to build a reputation for themselves and be a club that decent players would want to represent; thus far this season i'd say Eddie Howe is doing absolutely that, and i am pretty sure the club hierarchy will be pleased with what they are seeing, even without having to spend large just yet.

That's true the team have very unstable preformence and they clearly proved this after defeating Manchester city, they have no other choice but restarting with better spirit and confidence after the world cup because i don't think the problem is in players quality or coach but they simply lost confidence after the bad results in the first rounds

Newcastle United team seems to be the best team for me in English Premier League. That team don't depend on any one man or two to deliver the team. Each and everyone of them are up and doing in their respective wings.
What will make you to understand that Newcastle team is powerful is when they begin to occupy England best eleven every week. You will see two or three Newcastle players every week in that squad. That shows they are doing well.
