In the opening match surprising things can happen, even though materially the Man City players are really the favorites in this match. My prediction is that the match will be a bit more even and Man City won't be too insistent on playing open because it's their first game and don't want to lose on their away trip. If people see that Burnley is under a lot of pressure in this match then I think Man City will also be under a lot of pressure because talking about the defending champion and this is the opening game.

Burnley will play with great motivation and they will try to make a surprise in this match because after all Burnley's spirit is above Man City. Pep Guardiola must be careful in anticipating matches and also have to be a little defensive to stop attacks that are trying to be built by Vincent Kompany's men.

Chelsea have become unpredictable this season for me since they reshuffled their squad and I have not taken time to really analyse their preseason games and performances.  Well, as some persons will say that the pre season games are nothing compared to the real league games so let’s just exercise a little patience and see their first five games of the season and then we can be able go determine how well they can go this season. Against Liverpool I expect an interesting and competitive game and I also don’t expect any of the teams to relent from getting atleast a point from the game.

Chelsea had a good preseason and I will say it is a good indication that they might perform better this season. One good improvement in the club currently is that they can score goals. They had a setback in the attack recently due to the injury of Christopher Nkunku which will keep him out of play for a few months. Nkunku is an important player that was signed to give the Chelsea attack the needed boast. But there is speculation that  Mauricio Pochettino is considering going back to the transfer market to get a replacement that will play with the red-hot Nicolas Jackson. Meanwhile, Liverpool has received a boost with the signing of Moises Cacedo. The match will be a litmus test for both teams and it will be an exciting match. My prediction is that Chelsea will win the game with a maybe one-goal margin.

I am very sure, that it is very unlikely for Burnley to be able to hold Manchester City even more so to beat Manchester City. This is the same point i always make to people but they all underestimate burnley, Burnley may prove to be a strong opponent tonight i have also watched them play and they really impressed me with their performance. Manchester city on the other hand are not currently at their best from what I witnessed in the preseason they still need to improve and add some players to replace the ones that left. Manchester City may be the better side but I can’t put my money on them so I predict a draw as well. Though in my gambling ticket i went for first half draw.

We can not use the first match to predict the club that will top the table, some other clubs would win too. But maybe Manchester City will have more goals to score. But I will not yet recognize that as the club to be in the first position.

If you check the image I have above, it is clear that the chance that Burnley would win the match is just 1%. And that 1% is if Manchester City disappointed we that thought the club would win.

We can not compare Arsenal and Manchester City, this is is not the last season. I do not know the two, three or the four clubs that I will compare for now. Now is not the best time for comparing. Comparison will come after they have played some matches already.

I do not know the club I will be going for this season for now. I went for Arsenal last season and the players in the club really disappointed we that were supporting them last season. After the club lost, I did not think of any need to post here again at the time. But we are in new season now, I may go for another club entirely. But I am not going for Manchester City, I like the club but I want EPL to be competitive.

Indeed there are certainly not a weak team and plus the fact that they even won arsenal by a goal to nil at the late period of the season and they can definitely replicate such scoreline but I doubt the gunners are going to let them. I was having some reservations on how Haaland will perform this season, doubting maybe he’ll go far and break same record as he did on his debut season. But after his first half performance, I feel the guy is in for it this season again, he’s going to break more record than that of last season going forward if he’ll continue with this energy and remain consistent throughout this season. Any team with Haaland have secured their striking position as he won’t stop scoring goals to satisfy himself.

I've never expected city to lose... whenever I see fixtures like this, I always guarantee anyone for a win... It's only half time and then game has been decided already... Yes, this season's not gonna be an exception for a trophy again, even though alot of premier league teams have enhanced Thier players and made good use of the transfer windows - take a look a Chelsea dude... I don't blame Pep he has to keep the spark alive if they become complacent, things won't go well. Moreover, based on the stats, Haaland is still very impressive, having scored twice with three attempts and nine touches just consider the feat. The second half is about to begin Guardiola would have fired them up consequently, we should expect more goals. And I was trying to listen  to what pep was telling Haaland, no idea  and from the look of things I don't think burnley can actually win this game,  due to defense errors i think that is why Guardiola was furious. Just one mistake can cost them but my final judgment is that burnley can not win this game. Cause burnley lack goal sence they can touch but can't finish.
