They will have to defend the Premier League, the odds are in their favor.
He should start and find it difficult to score tommorow night because this is Burnley no matter how strong you are they always look very hard to break and score. During the days of Sean Dyche before he was sacked they are know for how stubborn and offensive tacklers they have. Erling Haaland might not sckre tomorrow night still.

It is always interesting to know the result of the first match. Man City will play against Burnley away, it may be not an easy match. But if we consider the player quality, Burnley should be not an obstacle for Man City. Although they may miss De Bruyne and Gvardiol, they have enough players to replace them. They have Bernardo Silva to replace De Bruyne and they have some players on the defense line. So, the absence of the 2 players won't impact anything, I believe Man City to win their first match.

Anyway, offensive tacklers won't always be a good idea. If they too much made dangerous tackling, the referee probably give them red cards. Erling Haaland also isn't a weak striker, he isn't easy to beat by the defenders.  

Replacing De Bruyne isn't easy though I think De Bruyne is one of hose players who are irreplaceable. You can do it only somehow, not really totally. But yes on paper I think there are no questions left that Manchester City should win this with more or less ease. Maybe not easily, but it shouldn't be one of their hardest games this season. To kick off a season can be a bit more tricky than other games, but they had their first test against Arsenal and almost won that game, so they can't be too bad and it should be enough for them to win against Burnley.

Arsenal have spent around 230 million euros on transfer fees this summer. This amount is only for three players at the same time. They have made a big investment into their midfield especially. Rice and Havertz will have a big responsibility in their roles. Especially Rice will be expected to perform even more considering his cost and skills.

Rice can make the midfield much more reliable in time to help decrease the number of goals Arsenal concede as well. When it comes to Havertz I'm not too much expectant from him for now. First we need to see how he will perform in his natural role here. I guess Arteta wouldn't put him in the centre-forward position much.

Well the opening game is always tricky, I expect Manchester City to win, maybe with 2 goals and Erling Haaland to score too, I don't think he will score hattrick but maybe a goal or two.
I am personally waiting to see Chelsea - Liverpool match in Stamford Bridge since Liverpool odds look better in that away game. I wonder know if Klopp will be able to restore the team to its good and successful shape.

Basically, we can't predict which team is weak although as a promotion team Burnley and other teams cannot be underestimated, we still remember how Leicester City did it a few years ago as a newcomer Leicester City was able to win the Premier League obviously no one thinks they can do it, so for this season we have to look at some of the matches to find out which team is weaker.

Now the strength of all the teams is still not visible because the official match for this season has not yet started even though tomorrow Burnley will face Manchester City at home. And in general actually tomorrow's game for Burnley is an easier game to predict even though in fact we don't know which team is weak and which team is strong, but I also don't think that Burnley will be stronger than Manchester City tomorrow.

This is a problem for Chelsea. And I really do not think that Chelsea would want to go ahead in this season having a problem in the squad. They have already finished 12th in the last season. They do want to be improving.

So it is probably a better idea to not have any weak positions in the team and actually fixing problems that they have instead of having work-around ideas. i personally think that it is going to be the best idea for Chelsea to get a striker. but then again the authority of Chelsea may have other ideas.

It is very sure Manchester City will their first game for the season,  but it is too risky to predict Haaland will score goals in this game. Some of the games Manchester City played in last season they scored several goals without haaland , so I think in the coming game it still unpredictable if Haaland will score goal for Manchester City or not.  Whenever Manchester City is playing any team Haaland have always been main target, he can be marked so seriously that it will be difficult for him to score goals.

Chelsea? Not only the last season the performance has been like this for a long time now. You know, one thing for football is coach and the selection of players. Of the coach select good and skillful players to play the first half and change the weak ones on the second half then football arrangement is settled. So I was expecting the coach to change some players in Chelsea but he has not.

Burnley was strong enough but im fully doubt about luton. This team was just luckily being promoted to the EPL. The quality from luton is far different compared with another team in EPL. It makes me feel doubt if luton will able to compete with another club to stay in EPL. Leicester city has been performing worst last season. Leicester deserves it. Kompany will try to make burnley to stay in EPL as long as possible. The main question shall be given to the luton whether this small club will able to stay in EPL or not.
Im feeling so skeptical with luton's performance in EPL. The performance from luton in championship is not that good too.

Alot of things were blown out of proportion in the league, watching average clubs proving themselves worthy towards elite clubs, but I'm pretty sure that would be corrected in the new season. However last season was really a mess for Chelsea, not just them but also some elite clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.  A really tough one for all of them and they all missed out on the UEFA Champions League competition. Mauricio Pochettino have good vision for the blues, he's the new boss and he will definitely try his best to enchanced his squad for the preparation of EPL next season.

Chelsea is still trying to improve the team for the next season and they sent a 55m for Roméo Lavia and Southampton, this player is very young and he is just a 19-year-old player who can be a good investment for Chelsea because if they hire this player from Southampton and he improves his performance in Chelsea, Lavia can even have better performance in the next years.

Is that real? I thought that if chelsea's bid was aruond 48m. It's 2 millions less from what already demanded by southampton. Liverpool has sent 45m - 46m bid for lavia.
Southampton may only pick the one who has its bid very close to the price that already demanded by the club. I would prefer to see chelsea secures olise from crystal palace first rather than going to the lavia.
These guys are importants for the club but i prefer the club to secure olise asap. Lavia already spoken if he is much more interesting to join in liverpool rather than chelsea.

It seems the first goal for Chelsea in the new season was not to sell older players but to have players like Lavia at younger ages.

In theory it should be like that and most likely every body has bet on Manchester City in tonight game.I also don't expect any real fight from Burnley after they played one year against lower quality teams in the Championship they cannot just come in the Premier League and make a surprise result tonight,I know that the Premier League is always characterized by surprise results but it would be a huge surprise if any other result except Manchester winning happens in this game.
