Well aside from that, we have known how Haaland performing. Although this is still the beginning of this season, I am still sure enough that his performance will be as good as the previous season, no wonder. Except he gets injured but I personally never think and never expect this.
Their first match looked easy enough for Man City and won 3 goals without reply. but unfortunately, bad things happened to de Bruyne, hopefully his condition is not bad.

It was a masterclass performance by Manchester City and especially Haaland. He has proved to be a good finisher. If you look at the two goals he scored in that game, you will see that he has very good positioning skills. He knows how to predict where the ball will come from and quickly places himself at such points. City is here again this season with the fire burning in their bones. Burnley also did their best in the attack but there was no communication among their striker.

Pep Guardiola has again proved that he has not lost his tactical acumen and Vincent Kompany should grasp that he is in the Premier League where he still needs to learn from the masters. Kevin De Bruyne's injury was one of the bad news of the game for City and they have to pray that it is not a serious one because players like him are difficult to replace.

Now and after the game between Burnley and Macnshter City there was some bad news for Manchester City even after they won the game against Burnley, Pep Guardiola said Kevin De Bruyne is injured and it seems he got injured hard, that's why they can't use their player, Kevin De Bruyne for some time and since we all know about his effect on Manchester City, not having Kevin De Bruyne can have a negative effect on this team.

Arsenal wins against Nottingham with 2-1 scoreline. Good control over the match but I feel they should have scored one more goal. Gunners had plenty of chances which went wide or saved by Turner and also at the end I think Arsenal players were tired while tracking back counter with Elanga on the ball and conceded the goal.

I would say a good start by Arsenal with new PL campaign but I think Arsenal are much capable of posting even better scoreline.

Whether more goals or not, what matters most is for the team to later grab the 3 points at the end of the match. That's the most important thing. Arsenal did the needful by winning their first match of the season. Although Nottm Forest is no match for them, at least the 3 points have been recorded for them.
Am looking forward to how Arsenal progress in other of their tough and easy matches to come. Let them not repeat the same stuff they did last season that would make football fans question how possible is for them to win the premier league this season.
Their belief and motivating factor this season is likely to be that they are capable of lifting the premier league title this season since they can hold up Manchester City from winning the Community Shield Cup finals, they can do the same if they keep a resilient spirit in all through their PL matches.

Arsenal managed to follow in the footsteps of Mamchester City and win their match. Eddie and Saka were the players who got their names on the scoresheet to make Arsenal secure 3 points. They seemed to dominate the match, they made a total of 15 attempts and 7 times managed to lead to the goal and 2 of them managed to penetrate the Nottingham net.
This result also makes us speculate that they will most likely return to compete for the title this season. But it's still too early to say that for sure, because we are also still in the first step of the competition.

It's been a very sweet start for Manchester City and we can't miss Haaland's name in this first win of the season. If i'm honest their gameplay wasn't very impressive, but still, congrats on the opening match victory. If they want to do well this season, they need to put in the effort. Even in the preseason matches, luck played a role in their success.

Arsenal's performance in their Premier League 2023–24 season is very impressive and has proven that the team is strong enough to compete again this season due to some signings made by Arsenal management to strengthen the team more against several competitions.

I was still surprised by Martinelli's assist and immediately Nketiah fired in the shot that led to Arsenal. Then there was the spectacular goal scored by Bukayo Saka and even Kai Havertz was speechless to the point of holding his head because he was so surprised to see the goal. In the second half Arsenal struggled quite a bit and couldn't add to the number of goals and instead they were hit by a quick counter attack from Nottingham which made them concede one goal. A deserved victory for Mikel Arteta's squad at the start of the season and these 3 additional points keep Arsenal still below Manchester City with a goal difference.

I think Arsenal should always convert their goal chances else they would get punished by their opponents it happened last weekend when Kai Havertz missed two scoring chances but missed though luckily won that match via penalty shootout after trailing Man City but luckily equalized during regulation time, the same scenario almost played out in today's match against Nottingham Forest after leading by two goals yet they failed to score more goals to seal their win and nearly drop two points when the visitors scored their first goal thereafter started mounting pressure against Arsenal trying to score their second goal to end the match in a draw.

In the previous seasons Mancity have always dominated most times with Debruyne, and their tic-tac pattern of playing has ensured that they dominate most of the time, no doubt that Debruyne creativity is something they rely on but i think it would only affect them against big teams for instance against intermilan when he was substituted intermilan began to dominate more because they lacked creativity from the midfield and that's one of Debruyne's specialities, it's very sad to lose a star player at the early stages of the tournament because sometimes it weakens the moral of other players, but i don't think  it's really going to affect  them much because they have other options that could play that position, Guardiola is not a type  of coach that builds his team around just one players, thats why he goes for player that are versatile like he could use foden or Bernardo silva from the midfield or since they're interested in Lucas paqueta Debruyne injury could trigger city to take the quest for paqueta seriously.
