Easy game, no pressure in Emirates, rather much pressure on the visitors. First half, the score is 2 nil, and I strongly believe that Gunners will net more goals in the second half. Mikel Arteta doesn't jeopardize his chances, rather he will always make good use of his opportunity whenever he have one. Arsenal dominated the game in the first half and leading 2 nil in on the scoresheet. It's definitely an easy game for the gunners, they would need more tougher opponents if they want fierce competition. Nottingham forest are weigh below the standards of Arsenal, more like an average club facing an elite one.

Nottingham forest is not much of a challenge for Arsenal and it more like an easy opening match for Arsenal, they need to show everyone that they still got what it takes and they may be better than last season, but it’s a long season so let’s wait and see how it turns out. Saka’s goal really impressed me he scored a screemer that got everone impressed with him. I hope Arsenal can perform well when they face tougher opponents because those tough matches determines how far a team will go in the league. I think this league will be so interesting this season

This season is starting on a Remarbnote for the top clubs in the premier league and it seems that those clubs that dominated the league the last season are still the same clubs who are still holding it strong,  Manchester City won their match against Burnley with 3 goals to none and at this time Asernal is also leading their first game with 2 goals to none,  in the second half of their match against Nottingham Forest.
Both Arsenal and Manchester City have well dominated the last season's premier league season with both clubs battling for the first position on the league's table,  and I guess some events may be experienced in the current premier league season.

Arsenal played so confident without any shortcomings by mastering the game as a whole. 45 minutes of the first half, Arsenal dominated and scored two goals.
It is unfortunate that Arsenal's victory over Nottingham Forest in a match that had just finished making Jurrien Timber had to be pulled out because of injury.

Nottingham cannot do much, their game statistics are very different from Arsenal.
When Arsenal are able to make 15 shoots, Nottingham is only able to make 6 shoots.
There was no attack that really endangered Arsenal's goal other than 1 goal made by Awoniyi because of the Elanga assist.

Agree with you that opening match will not always be easy and Guardiola have been confirmed this that he doesn't want to underestimate Burnley although if we see from meetings statistic Manchester City is very superior from Burnley but everything is still possible to happend and as promotion team Burnley will playing all out so Manchester City indeed a bit under pressure because as defending champion win result is mandatory for them and during last season Burnley had good record at their home ground that Burnley only lose once and Guardiola have realized this records so that's why he said this is not easy match for Manchester City  

Man City managed to secure three points in the match, two goals from Haaland and one goal from Rodri made Man City come home with three points and are ranked first in the standings. The match statistics show the quality of defense, attack and possession is quite extraordinary for Pep Guardiola's men and they play quite carefully with high intensity. Overall, Man City's ability is still quite dangerous in attack and it's amazing that they are able to make the rhythm of the game under their control.

Once again we see how Pep Guardiola's strategy is always able to bring Haaland to score goals in official matches, even though in the test matches many people criticize Haaland's ability to score goals. The additional three points away from home are good capital for Man City and even though this is still the opening game it hasn't become a big challenge for the defending champions.

It is clear that Manchester City comfortable victory over Burnley was made possible by Haaland outstanding goal scoring proficiency and Manchester City dominate performance. Haaland first goal and subsequent ones demonstrated his talent for seizing openings. The measured approach and winning attitude of Manchester City were evident in their disciplined performance. Burnley tenacity and relentless spirit throughout the contest merit praise despite the team defeat. The game underlined the talent of player like Rodri and Dvadiol emphasising their significant contribution to Manchester City success.

From the start, it was predicted that Man City would win easily. But I want to talk to Burnley, actually they are also playing well but I think they are a little bit afraid that if you look at the starting lineup they are too defensive, they should kill Man City's midfield more. And it should be Burnley who has to learn how to cope with not having the ball. It won't be the same as last year. Playing against Pep Guardiola makes it look like you are lacking concentration. Like last season he made Real Madrid look like they were not concentrating. He is a genius.

Man City are an offensively minded side with sharp attacking instincts and experience so if you defend too much against them they will catch you. The best way is to press from midfield to their defence. But overall this is a good start for Burnley to learn from mistakes so that in the next match it doesn't happen again.

 I still can't understand why Arsenal keeps making this mistake of scoring first by either a goal or two and then relaxing. I saw the fire with which they started in the first half and after Nketiah's goal, you would think the game will produce a lot of goals. To the point that I pictured that they would win by 4 goals to nothing only for the second half to come underway and you see them being too confident and hence conceding a goal which came from substitute Taiwo Awoniyi.
At present, Man City are topping and if they think they want to match the Citizens, they'd need to drop this attitude of slacking after getting a goal.
 Very many eyes are on Declan Rice and Kai Havertz to score and even though they didn't net any, they were able to create some chances. The season just started yesterday but I'm expectant that it won't be business as usual because many clubs are ready to change the narrative.

Mikel Arteta must fix this and make his team look hungry for goals even though they are already ahead, they must continue to play aggressively and quickly to keep trying to score more goals. And I'm afraid that if they played against the top teams and played like that I think it would be a different story, and Notthingham Forest could almost equalize.

I was still surprised by Martinelli's assist and immediately Nketiah fired in the shot that led to Arsenal. Then there was the spectacular goal scored by Bukayo Saka and even Kai Havertz was speechless to the point of holding his head because he was so surprised to see the goal. In the second half Arsenal struggled quite a bit and couldn't add to the number of goals and instead they were hit by a quick counter attack from Nottingham which made them concede one goal. A deserved victory for Mikel Arteta's squad at the start of the season and these 3 additional points keep Arsenal still below Manchester City with a goal difference.

I guess everyone was expecting Man city to win the match against Burley, so I didn't even see anyone pick Burnley in Superbru. This is the first time I joined the discussion pool and used Superbru for the first time. I was kinda shocked that many people predicted the exact score of 3-0, and they got the maximum points. My prediction was almost close enough.

My prediction was 3-1, and I was expecting Burnley to fight back against Man city and at least score one goal. But damn! They were unable to score a goal as Man city is a strongest team in premier leage.

Burnley coming from Championship and Manchester City is defending their title this is big difference between these two sides with quality is also having big impact I am also on superbru for the last few years and feeling exciting while talking about Premier League and results my prediction was for the first match 4 - 0 because I have no high hopes for the home side in this first game and as we have first half at the score of 0 - 2 I was exciting about my prediction because this was looking realistic but at the end Burnley done good job in second half and Citizens were not able to score few more goals but still this is good end for the punters and Manchester City because they have good return of their all discussion and money as well.

Arsenal had a close call. Their first game in the 2023/24 season wasn't an easy win, but they managed three points on the board. If i'm honest their gameplay wasn't very impressive, but still, congrats on the opening match victory. If they want to do well this season, they need to put in the effort. Even in the preseason matches, luck played a role in their success.

Arsenal's performance was nice in today's match. Arsenal was in control of the match from the beginning till the end. Saka scored a fantastic goal in the match. I was just surprised that Arsenal was able to score just two goals in the match. Arsenal scored their two goals in the first half of the match. I was expecting more goals from them in the second half of the match, but unfortunately they couldn't score any goals in the second half. They even conceded a goal in the second half by Awoniyi. Even though this is only their first game and the start of the season, I believe Arsenal is off to a strong start.

Arsenal dominated the entire match with an unbeliveble possesion over Nottinghem Forest but in the end Forest almost made a draw somehow. Arsenal played a good first half but dropped their guard in the end of the match and it almost costed them a win. Still for me Arsenal looks really good and i think they are trying to get the same play style as Man City

I think the 2:1 win for Arsenal is a good sign that they came are prepared for the new season, their passes were accurate, good and better control of the balls against their opponent Nottingham forest but Arsenal lacked the killer passes to score goals especially in the second half of the game. Yes everyone was expecting Arsenal to get a third goal in the second half due to their constant possession of the ball but funny how they couldn't scored rather Nottingham forest scored a late goal to make the game 2:1.

Good start indeed but we hope to see the gunners do better as expected because they have got more players to help them challenge Manchester City for the trophy this seaso, good to see Bukayo Saka on the scoreline this shows he's still very good with the ball but l hope to see a better him this season.

Arsenal only played well in the first half but after winning 2 goals they were careless and played very badly in my opinion, even though they won the victory and full points in this first game but I think there are a lot of things that Arsenal have to fix again for the next match.

In a few moments there will be the Newcastle vs Aston Villa match, this is a pretty fierce match in my opinion because both are equally strong teams, Newcastle are still like last season and Aston Villa, who played very well at the end of last season, are sure to continue their performance .
Newcastle may have a little advantage because they are playing in front of their own supporters but I think Aston Villa will still provide a very fierce resistance, and it is also possible that there will be surprises in this match.

Kai Havertz should be inspired to do better from what he saw Saka do, he is capable of same type of goals only that he still lacks confidence to make the attempts. In the game there were some few chances for him to run in and try out a strike as Xhaka used to do in that position, but due to his lack of confidence, he will pass the ball along. If Havertz can get as confident as Martinelli and Saka, he will quickly be able to justify the fee that Arsenal paid for him which many of their fans are now questioning.

Brighton has started this season well too, they lead at halftime by a goal against  Luton Town.

Well Sala has been spectacular for us so no surprise there. He is too good with his left footer curler into the net so I can understand Kai Havertz being a bit surprised there as he is new to the team. Even last season he had lots of goals scored like that.

Yeah we lacked a bit of crucial passes but Forest also did a good job to keep us down till the end. I was expecting a more work rate in midfield given the formation we started the game today. I was not expecting a formation change from Arteta today but it worked for us. I sensed Odeegard work rate being slightly less with this formation so maybe it impacted the Odegaard's freedom in midfield. To me it seems like Arteta is experimenting and let's see what he does next.

If Arsenal had scored one more goal in this game it would have been a more comfortable game for them. I agree with you on that, but I think it would have been better for them if they hadn't conceded any goals instead of scoring one more. Arsenal are stronger this season with great signings. I'm sure they will push Manchester City more this season than last season. But I think it would have been better for them if they had signed a good striker. I don't think they can play a whole season with Jesus because he gets injured a lot. Kai Havertz might not contribute well to the team either. They need a quality striker to score more goals.

Second game in the premier league competition this season, ended up for the favour of Manchester city and Arsenal and they are very ready to repeat what happened last season that made Manchester city took first position and Arsenal took second position in the premier league tournament. Arsenal would have achieve three goals to beat Nottingham forest but they missed many opportunities in the second half in the Nottingham forest goalpost that made the game ended up 2-1 for the favour of Arsenal. Arsenal and Manchester city Still look like the teams that will drag this title again in this season because, the two teams were able to win three points from their games because they prepared well for the season.
