I knew from the start that Manchester city were going to win this game,and for those people that followed my prediction for this first week of opening,I am quite sure that they will definitely win it because all the games I gave are 75 percent sure.Manchester city are the first teams to win in this opening week and they will actually be topping the table.

Well, everyone expected that Manchester City will be able to win this first match of the beginning of this season's English Premier League against Burnley, but what I do not anticipate is what is happening. I do not expect that Haaland will score all the goals in the season again, how come he has already scored a brace when the match has not ended yet, which means he has a great opportunity to score hat-trick in the opening of the English Premier League. This boy must be on fire again this season. Dude did you say that Burnley escaped relegation last season. I don't understand you.

I think a lot of people either in the stadium or in front of their screens were shaking their head when Haaland scored the first goal in the 4th minute of the game. Guardiola must have thought that this is unbelievable how omnipresent Haaland is. He is crazy like I don't know what to say about him.

Pep did not look impressed with the first half performance, he was furious about something that he expressed to Haaland while they walked down the tunnel to the dressing room. Haaland will finish this game with a Hattrick coming out in the second half. Burnley have not been bad in the first half, but Manchester City's quality is more than what they can handle. Haaland scoring again with few touches shows that this season, he may beat the record he set last season.

Manchester city has not been very good even though they are winning, they have made many defensive errors that would have cost them if they had been playing a more stronger opponent. Pep Guardiola will try to correct those errors as the play more games.

I don't blame Pep he has to keep the spark alive if they become complacent, things won't go well. Moreover, based on the stats, Haaland is still very impressive, having scored twice with three attempts and nine touches just consider the feat. And I was trying to listen  to what pep was telling Haaland, no idea  and from the look of things I don't think burnley can actually win this game,  due to defense errors i think that is why Guardiola was furious. Just one mistake can cost them but my final judgment is that burnley can not win this game. Cause burnley lack goal sence they can touch but can't finish.

This is Pep Guardiola and how he works. Wouldn't we all be puzzled if he celebrated a two goal lead against Burnley as if he won a trophy? I am sure that if they won the game with 6 goals difference today, Guardiola would find something to criticize and I think he should. The most realistic thing is that Manchester City win this game and Burnley is something of a possibility. We know Manchester City is not only the best team in the EPL but also in all of Europe at the moment and the chances of them losing are very small. Burnley might have expected a bit of a win since they were the hosts but that wasn't enough to silence the dreadful Manchester City squad. Even if Burnley has a strategy to stop Haaland for 90 minutes, Manchester City still has midfielders who can always score goals and that is the advantage that Manchester City has with its squad which is so complete from all aspects.

Although I chose Manchester City to win first half and the club is leading already, I hope the first half will end with Manchester City winnii. With the stat I am seeing, Manchester City is really dominating the match, which may later be followed by more shots on target. But what surprised me was that after the 1-0 for Manchester City I thought that Burnley could fall apart very early in the game, but that didn't happen. Ok now while I was typing I saw that he scored his 2nd goal. I can't believe how efficient this player is and after the game he will say he should have scored more goals and must improve his game.

Then it is going to be the start for Manchester City that was normally to be expected, but of course still some time to go.

Erling Haaland has started counting his goals just in his first match of the season. The season is looking so bright for the striker and just like in the previous season he's going to win the top scorer in the EPL probability with Manchester City winning the league again.

Arsenal in my opinion only had a good season last year doesn't make them arx-rival of City, because this season everything in the EPL will definitely play out differently especially in the top four positions,  but what doesn't look like it's going to be of any different  from previous season is Manchester City not winning the league. I am yet to see an ardent rival for now!

Indeed there are certainly not a weak team and plus the fact that they even won arsenal by a goal to nil at the late period of the season and they can definitely replicate such scoreline but I doubt the gunners are going to let them. The joy of every die hard is seeing his team win and I am certain no one likes to bet against their team even the if their performance is bad as I would prefer not playing the game at all.

You are very very correct,  I completely agree with you on your last input based on my own personal experiences, not like it's an experience though, but it's what I normally do, and I think until now, I probably have had this misconceptional believe that I was the only one who does such, that is, when ever my favorite team is playing against another team I find or see to be stronger, and are likely to beat my favorite team, instead of me betting for that team, I rather not bet on that match at all, and instead of me betting on my favorite team and loosing the bet as well as my money, still preferable not to bet..
Very funny though, but I think it's one of those things love for something does.

I'm sure Burnley has no chance to score because Man City defense looks very solidly today. Man City players must be aware that this first 3 points is very important for them. I knew it would be an easy win for Manchester City, Burnley is not a club that I know will give Manchester City a difficult moment. Let's see what will happen in the second half of the match, but I am expecting Manchester City to score more goals in the second half of the match.

Burnley was unable to develop their game as Manchester City continued to apply pressure despite having a 3 goal lead, obviously this was a predictable victory for most people.

Not only were Burnley humiliated in front of their own fans, but they also had to lose winger Anas Zaroury for a foul on Walker. Anas Zaroury was awarded a red card for his hard tackle, even though it was not really needed.

I didn't see Burnley being able to threaten Manchester City's defense on many occasions, but Manchester City were really able to put in a fierce game and win it easily. It was a win that was expected at the start of the season, but I was impressed with Haaland who really seems like an unstoppable goals machine.

For the next match, Arsenal vs Nottingham is a party worth waiting for. Arsenal have a high probability of winning compared to Nottingham, so it should be easy for anyone of us to find out who will win the game.

The fact that Burnley have to face Manchester city in the opening game is a big challenge for Burnley due to the fact that,  Manchester city happens to be in their best position and with their premier league victory and experience meeting such a club in the opening ceremony is de motivating but I hope burnley will be able to come up in their next match since the season just began.

Yeah Burnley actually did the best, I see Kompany wasn’t scared to set his team up in an attack formation and from the first half I could see clearly why they had the most goals and possession in the championship. I think if they continue to play this excellent result will start kicking. The only difference today is the brilliant Rodri and also the clinical Halaand, aside that Burnley had a great game. My observations from this match is that City can’t still replace De Bruyne properly, immediately he left they look disjointed from the back to the attack, even after Silva came into the midfield to fill in for him they still couldn’t cope. As for Burnley, they haven’t properly replaced the departed Tella who was there top scorer last season. Some of the chances they created would have been scored by a proper nine, Oloeosho was also a great on the ball and I expect more to come from him this season. Overall the game was ok but the result flattered Man city

It was a tough opening game for promoted Burnley against the defending champions.
On the other hand, Manchester City as expected, even though the opponent is Burnley but this is a very good start for them because with a good opening match of course this will make a greater spirit to welcome the next match.

Absolutely and I think he's still going to be the best this season. Haaland will also lose out on the competition for top scorer this season after Kane agreed to move to Bayern Munich. He seems to be very comfortable leading the top scorers table because I don't know who will be his toughest rival this season.

In a few days, Manchester City will face Sevilla for the UEFA Super Cup. Manchester City looks set to win the title after they failed to win the Community Shield against Arsenal. Victory over Burnley will be a boost for the players to win the title next Thursday.

We cannot just conclude on the results of Arsenal and Manchester city just yet,we all know how the premier league is,and it will be too early to conclude on those games because we don't know what might have happened during the summer transfer window,I know Arsenal and City have recruited players,but Forest and Burnley have also done thesame as well.Everybody wants their team to win,and despite the fact that they give city and Arsenal small odds against those teams,I still think those games are not just going to be a workover like that, especially the City vs Burnley game,Vincent kompany knows exactly what Pep is capable of doing,therefore he will still device means of winning that game or atleast drawing City.

I say that doesn't mean Man City can underestimate Burnley, as well as Arsenal. but we are talking about squad strength, especially on paper, of course Man City and Arsenal have a stronger and ready lineup. It has been proven here that Man City won 0-3 over Burnley. Haaland contributed 2 goals even he scored a goal in the first 4 minutes. And Arsenal's match will last a few hours and as long as they are really focused and can optimize their efforts, it is also possible that they will win.
