The factor in Man City's declining performance this season is due to the absence of De Bruyne in the Man City squad, because De Bruyne was the key to Man City's success last season, the mature passes provided by De Bruyne were really effective for Erling Haaland in scoring goals this season.  So, at least Pep Guardiola can look for a player who can replace De Bruyne this season until the injury he suffered is completely healed.

Well that's a quick turnaround by this city team. They were lacking in the first half but have since improved in this second half. Even foden you mentioned has found the net. I don't know what Guardiola said to his boys but whatever he said, it's working. That penalty was pivotal though because this Everton has played well since the start of the match anf it'd be unfortunate if they do finish behind City.

It's not finished yet. If Calvert-Lewin and Everton will take their chances, they might ve able to get something out of this game.

Obviously, the match will end up like this because it is already close to the finish time. However, Chelsea has been lucky this night just as Manchester were lucky last night. Finally, the two big teams that have been underperforming for quite some time has been able to win a match in this week games. Their fans would be happy while they enjoy the Christmas seasons, i know it has been a long time since i see a smile from Manchester United and Chelseas fans.

Chelsea's two-goal victory over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge today truly took the crowd by surprise. Unfortunately for Crystal Palace, the home team won all three points. I have no doubt that Chelsea has performed better because I had no idea they would. I'm confident Chelsea has improved their performance, because I wasn't expecting they can win against crystal palace. I'm really fortunate because I wish to play betting suggest Crystal Palace will beat Chelsea today. Chelsea currently sits in 10th in the in table. Is like Chelsea and Manchester United have met to develop so that they can climb to the top of the table, and it is conceivable since it is too late to cry when the head is severed.

Chelsea managed to win in this match even though they didn't play well enough, but one goal they got from the penalty spot made them seal victory in this match. Chelsea did have a weak opponent this week, but we can see that Chelsea had to work hard to beat Crystal Palace. Even for Crystal Palace, their position on the standings is getting worse because they couldn't get a single win in the last 5 matches.

In today match Mudryk appeared impressive in this match because he was able to score an early goal which made them able to dominate the course of today match but unfortunately they also had to concede in the 45th minute. With the score 1-1 it lasted long enough until in the 89th minute Madueke brought Chelsea became the winner after he succeeded in executing the penalty kick perfectly.

Man City pull things back into their favor after being down 1-0 at 29 mins against Everton. The game ends 1-3 in favor of Man city and City climb back into top 4. City are still in contention for the title, as they were having a slow phase during this time last year as well. I think they are just ironing out their kinks and experimenting their strats just so they could perfect their play when it really matters, the 2nd half of the season. They have the talent and a winning pedigree, I'm sure they will surely contest for the title this season again.

Finally, Manchester City managed to get a win in the match against Everton and slowly but surely get back up and try to catch up on the points that were already quite far behind. Hopefully, in the next match, Manchester City can be like this again and give victory to their supporters. It can be seen from this match that Manchester City provided excellent control of the ball and their kick accuracy. Everton did not move with the strength shown by Manchester City.

That's good seeing an improvement from the team and I really love what pep is doing to bring back the hope and faith in the team, if they can maintain same energy in their next match against Sheffield United then they might likely still have a chance of winning but still it's not so easy as we think cause a lot of pressure coming from Villa, Arsenal and Liverpool right now despite the fact Villa could not beat united they still have a lot of energy and with Emery Aston Villa will go far but they can't win this season, my prediction this season is Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city.
Yesterday was united and today Chelsea, let's guess they will start maintaining same energy and let's call their victory a comeback I hope victory for both team and I don't think it's too late for both teams if only they keep representing every match day.

I for one needed City to win because I had a bet placed on them even though it was a much safer double chance selection but they were behind so it was a relieved to watch Foden get that equalizer. As for their progress on the table, I'm not too concerned about it because City has a game in hand and if they go ahead6to win it, it would put them in a much more better position (ahead of Villa) — This is the second half of the season, City are usually more lethal at these times. They have some injured stars which I'm happy with because I need Liverpool on top of the season for as long as possible and hopefully we get to win it.

Another win for Chelsea, to the joy of the home crowd who would have expected nothing less than a win since the number one striker Christopher is back although he did not score for us to see the balloon celebration, his presence is reassuring to many of the supporters of this club. This 10th place is a position that looks like a big resistance to them and they have not been able to pass and break into the top 10 and even remain there for a long time. The victory today from Chelsea is a deserving one after seeing how they played with their opponent throughout the game. They should be ashamed if they hadn’t won any point in this match or drew the match because the stats of the game was very much in favour of them. Christopher Nkunku’s presence did really paid for them in this match. If they can get the striker back to full form, I think they will convert more goals in matches than they use to now currently.

Someone mentioned how the team has become consistent lately with losing a match and winning the next.
Am also impressed by Manchester city because now they seem more focused and ready to increase their horsepower to the top of table.

City got a much needed victory tonight, after a poor first half. In the first 45 minutes it looked like City were up for another frustrating EPL game, but it all changed in the second 45 minutes, Foden stepped up and Rodri was much better. Overall it was a decent performance from City and they deserved the 3 points, the only bad news for them is the injury to John Stones. The Englishman has missed quite a lot of games this season through injury, and now that it looked like it was all behind him, he got injured today again, i hope it is nothing serious anyway.

City's next game is against Sheffield United on Saturday and they would want to make it two wins out of two, for Everton they travel to Molineux to face a Wolves side that is very strong at home, and that might mean they'll lose back to back games, but we'd see how things pan out.

A very discussing match for the Chelsea because they failematches the estimated them and that gave draw out the message points. Sean Dyche doesn't have what it takes to beat Pep Guardiola, a coach that have won quite significant titles can not be compare to a coach that's struggling to leveled the performance of his club. It is possible that they will be able to secure consecutive championship titles if they are able to perform consistently until the end of this season. As long as Pep Guardiola is Manchester city coach, it looks like they will easily be crowned as a team that consistently locks in the title every season. In fact, in today match we saw Manchester city best form, which was able to turn the situation around until they secured victory with a score of 1-3.

I think Foden and Alvarez are quite important players for Manchester City this season because without Haaland they can bring Manchester City to victory. I think Liverpool and Arsenal have to be wary of Manchester City revival because Manchester City will again displace them both in the upcoming match.

Manchester City will not give other teams the opportunity to continue enjoying their position at the top of the standings for long because they are getting closer to competing with Liverpool and Arsenal at the top of the standings again. Last season Arsenal had to give up the championship title to Manchester city and will they give it up again this season?  Liverpool also need to be consistent in getting points in every match because this season they are stronger than last season.
Apart from that, it is believed that Manchester city, which will be strengthened again by Kevin De Bruyne in January, will again support their best performance in the second half of this season. I think the next match will determine who is more consistent in maintaining their ranking from the shadow cast by Manchester City.

But lately I must say that Manchester City haven't really been dishing out that fire power that they possess, there has been a great level of decline in their conquest this season and if care is not taken, they might not repeat what happened last seasons, after coming behind to take league from Arsenal.

Foden is definitely an important player as was proved in their game with Everton. Scoring two goals, he helped Man City achieve the win. Asides his goals, he had some pretty good shots at goal.

If they could play like they did in the second half of the game, the absence of Halland and mostly De Bruyne won’t be noticed in their games. Good game for City as they made a wonderful comeback to go ahead and win the game.

Initially really almost doubted Man City because it was left behind in the first round. But seeing how their game in the second half, especially the existence of a penalty of penalties, made sure that Man City would win. They actually have a significant attack, just imagine, 23 shots and 9 of them are on target. They have a lot of vicinity to print goals. But in the first half, they lost a lot of opportunities. Looks like they are still lacking on fire in the first round. Only in the second half, they really tried to optimally and effective all attacks to score goals. 1 - 3 for Man City's victory is very enough to make them get full 3 points in this match.

The thing that is quite surprising is the match between Newcastle vs Nottm Forest where Newcastle is really conquered with the defeat of score 1 - 3. That is also 1 goal from penalty kick. Indeed this season, Newcastle really has a very decreased performance compared to their strong and solid last season; Indeed there are many problems that must be faced by Newcastle this season.

With Manchester City's current form(which is not consistently strong) I doubt if  Manchester City will be able to repeat their successful season of winning three trophies in a row like the previous season, let alone win a fourth title in a row this season. 
It seems likely that Manchester City will be able to win one more league trophy they are participating in before the season ends, giving them a total of two trophies this 2023/2024 season.

After Everton scored the first goal of the game, I was of the opinion that it was gonna be a very long night for Manchester City but little did I know that the reigning World, European and English champions had a totally different thought from mine in that game. After Manchester City scored a goal to equalize the game, they dominated the rest part of the game and was rewarded with three more goals which confirmed that they were gonna have all three points from that encounter.

City without doubt were having a better campaign last season than they're having this season which has made me question Manchester City's strength to challenge for the English Premier League title this season but with the result of the league game tonight, I think Manchester City still have a great chance of coming back to retain the English Premier League title.

Not too surprised we already expected it, we know Manchester City will continue to try to get a place in the top 4 so they have to win every game imagine if they lost this match then their struggle would certainly be more difficult, fortunately they were able to recover the situation quickly. Now Manchester City has secured a place in 4th place Next they will replace Aston Villa. Manchester City need 3 more points to move up to 3rd or 2nd and they have one game to play, in the next 5 matches Manchester City will face 4 easy matches while one more match will be against Newcastle well, this one can't be said to be easy because Manchester City is playing away I mean Newcastle can be unpredictable when playing at home sometimes they can surprise opponents 3 strong teams have been defeated, such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea that's why I say it won't be easy for Manchester City to beat Newcastle it's like they have a 12 player at home.
