Now they are on top of the table passing Aston villa with 3 points, Man city 5 points, Arsenal with five points also. Newcastle misses some big chance in the game but after all they tried. Liverpool used their chances very well which led them to their win against Newcastle. in my opinion a Liverpool player deserve the man of the match, which is salah, because he played well during the game even though he missed a penalty to give them the lead at first half, after all he contributed to the goals and scored two goals out of the 4 goals, they scored. Liverpool deserves the win.

There is no doubt about the quality of Liverpool's players, this match against Newcastle is an addition to Liverpool's points and they are also in first place with 45 points. A very solid performance by Liverpool, scoring 4 goals, despite the missed penalty, against a team with a decent defence is a sign that they might make it to win the league this season.
Salah is now a number 1 scorer, ex aequo with Haaland. Haaland played fewer games though and is more effective, scoring almost 1 goal per 90 minutes on average.

It is better for Liverpool to concentrate on winning today's game because Newcastle plays well enough that you can't expect them to lose. If Liverpool wins today's game, they will be five points ahead of Arsenal, i think there will be tough competition for the Premier League title this season. This is because if Liverpool wins today's game and has five points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal, they won't lose any of their games and will instead try to win or draw to stay at the top of the league. I also predict on Liverpool to win which i expect them to win, the premier league matches will be very interesting, i believe Liverpool will not lose this opportunity to win today game.

Despite the fact that Liverpool really needs the win, I think Newcastle on their own are actually struggling and we all have seen from their last few games as they continually failed to secure the three points. Currently now Liverpool are leading and I doubt that they can even equalized the game back because this Newcastle team just needs to really stay focus on their game but I don't think they can actually do that with a Liverpool side thats actually striving to be at the very top when it comes to the title race.

When Isak brought the draw after Salah's goal, I expected a head-to-head match, but Liverpool won the game afterward. Now the leadership belongs only to them and I think they will protect it and make up for the season they lost to Manchester City. Liverpool was a team I always loved. I hope they win the championship this year.

Absolutely incredible effort from Martin Dúbravka(GK) for keeping a clean sheet until half time and later on, managing only 4 goals to go past him. Just look at the number of shots that Liverpool took and the shots on target. Barely ever see stats of shots like this. Can safely say that Liverpool dominated the game but somehow, Newcastle managed to keep the score competitive.

I was not available to watch Liverpool vs Newcastle United match tonight because I got really occupy with work. Perhapes I've settled and watch the match, coming to the conclusion of seeing Mohammed Salah as the pillar stand for the Reds frontline, he was not contributing anything in the first half but atleasdt he managed to net a brace against Newcastle. Well thats from the case now because Newcastle have once again lost the game and Liverpool have indeed showed their class by actually securing a win of 4-2 which came as a surprise to me if you ask  me because the whole was looking as if their wasn't going to be much seeing that the first half ended with a single goal although Liverpool had a chance to make it 2 but am gladly that the penalty miss didn't come back to haunt them.

Salah has been successfully executing two penalty. Newcastle is just going down again like a rocket and it was getting lose streak. It's very bad for newcastle to lose a few points again after it has been destroyed by liverpool. Liverpool is going back at the top again soon.

Liverpool's performance against Newcastle was outstanding. The team is currently the strongest in the Premier League. The only problem is the worse ratio of chance to goals. The score was 0-0 at half-time, but Liverpool had 18 chances to score compared to Newcastle's one. If Liverpool can keep up the consistency and then make better use of their chances to score goals, then I see the club as the favorite for the title.

It was quite an outstanding performance for the Egyptian attacker (Salah) who had 2 goals to his name, the victory was just too easy if you ask me with Newcastle playing like a team who has lost focus in the game. I couldn't get what's their plan B when it was 3-1, they seem confused at some point, with this display I don't see them (Newcastle) as a hard side to play against in the EPL.
Topping the league with the first game of 2024 is really going to be a morela booster for the team and it seems Liverpool will be the only team to give City a run for their money this season and probably Aston Villa because as it is I see Aston Villa as a better side than the Gunners that's why they (Arsenal) didn't come out as a competitive side for the title.

To be honest, this does look the same as many people predicted because after all Liverpool is a favorite with everything that happens starting from the performance and strength of the team they built.
I actually expected more results from Newcastle but indeed Liverpool's dominance was very difficult for them to anticipate.
With this result, Liverpool at least breathe longer because they can secure the top position for a while. Even though this is still not completely safe but at least at this time they are still comfortable with a difference of 3 points from Aston Villa and 5 points from Manchester City even though Manchester City still has 1 game left.

Now the last match before a few days break will still be interesting as there are names West Ham and Brighton who will meet each other today. I think it will be interesting again because these two clubs still have above average attacking style and quality.

Salah has indeed been a hero for Liverpool in almost all matches. Well his skills in penalty shots are not that good. But apart from that, he is currently the top scorer in the Premier League along with Haaland. With a total of 14 goals currently the same as the number of goals scored by Haaland. In fact, Salah almost became the 1st top scorer if he managed to take advantage of the penalty in the first half. I don't know if this is just my opinion or not, but I think Salah's performance this season is much better than his performance last season.

Maybe this is true as you say. That's why Liverpool can make the match in the FA Cup just a test to see how strong they are. But it would be much better if Liverpool only had to focus on the European League and Premier League at this time. Because trying to win many titles does have quite a high risk in the fitness of the players themselves.

 Liverpool love playing a wide and attacking football and is really working perfectly well for them and the wingers are also making oppositions beg to settle for the ball. They did the same thing against Newcastle with a lot of pressure, Klopp style of play has been impressive and is hard to mark them out and make Liverpool play something different.
 Salah had a wonderful game last night and it seems like he might be missed when he leaves for the AFCON, I believe the coach of the side Klopp knows how it will be like without Mo Salah on the team. He has been the only old player who's still in that team if I'm not mistaken so at some point I don't think his absence would be felt, since they have younger ones who are eager to play. Liverpool can still replace him and even do better, if that happens then Salah should try to avoid injury because he'll be dropped and he won't have that first team shirt again if he comes with any sort of injury.
