The first half of the Premier League I think it is over and Liverpool found themselves leading comfortably as the second team following them is Aston Villa,a team of which you cannot expect the same consistency as Liverpool or other strong teams,that is the luck of Liverpool now as they have absolutely everything under control and would be disastrous for them to lose this Premier League title now that Arsenal and City are a bit down and Tottenham is almost out of the way,things have changed dramatically from the start of the season and Liverpool appears to be the most consistent team and the strongest contender to the title,gone are the days when City looked invincible,they are losing like clowns now.

This season, Liverpool has proven themselves to be ready to take over the title by all means and judging from their performance in recent times it shows alit of antecedence that will change alot of things for both Liverpool players and the management as well, and being able to face and defeat other bigger clubs in terms of points accumulations will help the journey for Liverpool to hold the premier league's title this season and bringing Manchester city down from their high horses.

Maybe Man City's glory days have indeed faded. This season Man City is not as scary as last season. Although the reason is because several of their core players are injured, such as Haaland, who is even injured. But now Bruyne is back. But I also think that it is time for Liverpool to return to its past glory which in several seasons was not visible at all.

But this season we can see that Liverpool has become a team that is once again respected by its opponents. And as long as they can maintain their current performance then I think that will be enough for them to be able to lift the trophy this season. And next season Liverpool can try to do better in the UCL.

I saw that after failing in the Champions League, Newcastle's condition was getting worse and it was very difficult for them to perform optimally to win the match. Brighton were slight favorites to win the match but the team, plagued with injury and Mitoma being called up for the Asian Games, they weren't really on their full squad. Brighton still created many chances but couldn't capitalize on any. Had 8 shots on target and 3 big chances missed, just couldn't get on the scoring sheet. A draw does not change the position of the two teams in the standings West Ham and Brighton need more effort to catch Tottenham at least 5 more points are needed while Manchester United and Newcastle are stuck in positions 8-9 these 5 clubs are fighting to get tickets to the European league.

Brightron performing so badly in this game. The club was unable to break the defensive line of westham even though westham was always let brighton to attack. Zerbi's strategi can be countered easily through using the defensive strategy like that.
Im not feeling doubt caused by the performance from brighton was declining a lot since the early season. It's not the same like last season when people are feeling so damn good with it.

Zerbi needs to re evaluate his strategy again caused by it will not be effective once zerbi will face defensive team like westham. This is also the main problem occured in the manchester city since guardiola was also almost using the same strategy like zerbi,
Westham has made a few chances but the club unable to create effective counter attack that was helping the club to secure three points from brighton.

Brighton needs to accept draw as the result and many people were not predicting this caused by we do know how westham was able beating arsenal

Liverpool has an opportunity to go three points ahead of Arsenal today if they win. It would be a very vital three points and would reduce the pressure on themselves while putting pressure on Arsenal.

Liverpool won with score of 4 - 2 from Newcastle and of course this was victory that changed things for Liverpool and for the Premier League standings, just look at Liverpool occupying the top position and Arsenal being in 4th position.
It just that for Aston Villa it seems like they will never last long with their current good form because Manchester City has risen, they are trying to catch up and are slowly occupying 3rd place.
Moreover, Haaland and De Bruyne have recovered from the injuries they suffered and in the future these two players can strengthen Manchester City in every match and give concern to all the team that will be their opponents.

Although Liverpool has previously slipped up I think if they don't focus on today's game they would still let this chance fly away, my prediction is a win for Liverpool.

Not only you but many people predict that Liverpool will be the winner and you can also see that Liverpool is the favorite in this match.
Now they have 45 points and of course maintaining their position with point difference that is not too big will be very dangerous and Liverpool must be able to achieve more wins if they want to remain at the top.
But I not sure Liverpool can really maintain the top of the standings until the season ends and come out as champions.

the reason why Brighton is not satisfied and always wastes these opportunities is that they are too hasty and have too high ambitions because of the away game so they want to score immediately but lose focus and the shots cannot produce scores on several occasions. even though previously I predicted that in yesterday's match between WestHam or Brighton they would win but it turned out to be a draw whereas WestHam previously beat Arsenal in an away match but yesterday in the home match they couldn't score anything and I think this is all because Brighton put continuous pressure on them WestHam defense so there was no other choice but to hold yesterday's match to a draw.

I have the same thoughts as you that Alphonse Areola deserves praise for his young age as a goalkeeper who was able to make strong saves for WestHam and several times under pressure from Brighton couldn't break his spirit and luckily I bet on this match choosing on a double chance WestHam or a draw.

Shocking to see clubs that were very promising in beginning of the UEFA Champions League getting knockout and not even making a spot in the Europa League, checking their domestic league, they're not even competitive enough to be in the top four. Newcastle are eliminated from the major competition, sounds pretty bad for the Magpies because they fueled up high expectations without working extremely hard to filled in the gap available. Eddie Howe have learnt his weaknesses and he will definitely work on rectifying and fixing all the challenges he would face this season. I know Newcastle United won't be able to stand any chance because they're not consistent.

West Ham were very smart in this match. They are aware that Brighton could be a threat to them. Although currently West Ham has a better ranking than Brighton. Liverpool has 45 points now and are the ones leading the table now with Aston Villa coming as second but have the same point as Manchester City and Arsenal. These three teams are doing well so far but I'm more disappointed with Arsenal than any other club there because Arsenal had all it takes to remain a the top of the table but decided to fail in their last match to fall down to the third position in the table. I'm very disappointed with the team right now.

I feel like we are at a critical stage in the Premier league title where clubs topping the table should see it as a big deal not to fail in matches so easily because of how difficult it is to get there. Although football comes with a lot of challenges which includes trying by all means to win matches. I didn't see much of that in arsenal like I see in Liverpool now.

Liverpool still sits comfortably with a 3 point difference from the top 4 clubs but still the competition in the Premier League is still fierce because the top 4 still have a chances to fight for the title. It's normal if you are disappointed with Arsenal because the club recent performance look disappointing against the club is not very strongs, Arsenal have lost 11 point in the last 5 match and can only get 4 points, this is what has caused them to decline and are in 4rd placed.

In contrast to Liverpool, which is still on a winning path and has only lost 2 points from the last 5 matches, as well as Manchester City, which recently has also been on a wins path even though it has not been able to get full point in the last 5 matches, Arsenal looks like last season at the start, able to give the pressure was on at the top of the standings but starting to enter the end Arsenal were unable to achieve what their fans expected and of course this made many parties disappointed.

Brighton looked like dominance caused by westham was playing defensively against brighton. it will be different once westham will be playing fully offensive against brighton. Zerbi's team has been showing some improvements like it can consistently defending while attack.
No doubt if people were calling brighton to play better caused by it was giving better stats since westham was rarely playing offensive. This is also the main reason westham lost its ball possessions against brighton.

Just because brighton was owning the game and it doesn't mean westham will be losing against it easily. In fact, westham knew that if its club was only able using low block strategy as most effective strategy to be used by the club.
Brighton is having different gameplay caused by it was focusing on owning the ball. This is also my main reason to call that if brighton was not that good in this match caused by westham is only defending and it's rarely attacking without getting golden chance.

Westham was not losing after it was getting draw against brighton. At least westham was not losing at home.

I would have given the first choice of winners this season to Manchester city, but with the way Liverpool is doing and being more consistent than other EPL teams like Arsenal who were thought to be more attuned to the spirit of competition, I think Liverpool can lift the trophy.

The same thing happened to Arsenal, who everyone expected to win the Premier League this season. Arsenal is now ranked fourth position in the table.

The season is still almost past the middle and the chances of another team like Tottenham Hotspur climbing up the table is very possible, because the tide can change and that's how the EPL competition is.

Tottenham Hotspur will undoubtedly struggle due of their extreme distance from the other teams in the table, thus I don't think they will be able to go up to the top of the standings. Since Liverpool is only ahead of Aston Villa by two points, I believe the only predictions we can make are that they might be able to move up to the top of the table. If Aston put much they will be able to dominate, perform well, and ascend to the top of the standings.

Sometimes football can be very funny. Look at how difficult it is for Westham to score against Brighton and Vice Versa. If it were a bigger team like Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool. They would have had the chance to score while competing for the three points.

I have come to a conclusion that the teams that would want to stop the first three teams on the table to not win the EPL title or would make them drop points are teams that are not that tough. They seem tough when they play the bigger teams, but whenever they play against their equal, they are unable to win each other.

I was as surprised and amused as you were to learn that Westham, who is beating up on teams like Arsenal and Manchester United, cannot defeat Brighton. When Westham plays a game against one of the bigger teams, they will play as though they are the team at the top of the league table. I love the intensity with which Brighton played that game; it was either a draw or no one won, and now Westham will know that no matter how good they are, there is probably someone they can never defeat.

The good news for Tottenham and their fans is about their famous player, Pape Sarr. Tottenham he a good performance since they started working with their new coach and during all these games, they had a good performance and they are on the top side of the Premier League while they lost their superstar player, Harry Kane. But Tottenham wants to stabilize their performance and that's why they extended the contract of their player Pape Sarr until 2030.

Spurs are moving forward, which is fantastic. They have won over five of their last games, which, in my opinion, indicates that they are ready to play as well as they did at the start of the league. The only thing that has affected Tottenham's performance this season is the players who have been injured. During that time, it was very difficult for Tottenham to win a game, but now that those players are returning, I can see that the team is performing better. Additionally, some of their players' contracts have been extended, which is good because if they let those players go, they will have a very tough time.

West Ham is unpredictable club, but their recent performance is surely impressive with after losing 5–0 against Fulham they won three games and now have draw against Brighton, but good thing happen they have 4 clean sheets as well which is impressive from them their attack was also doing good job but in this game against Brighton they fail to keep things as they were doing against teams like Arsenal and Manchester United with still they are doing good and have good chance for staying at the top ranks of league table.

In recent years, we have improved competitiveness in Premier League which also increase quality and performance level and making this league one of the best in the world so keeping things at the top level have never been easy but still good job done by them, and they are also having good chance in Europa League as well where things are going good for them.

Looking forward to see the result match between Manchester United vs Tottenham and i am curious want to see who is the winner of this match later because both teams in Premier league has been showing inconsistency performance especially for Manchester United and to predict their matches results is quite hard because during this season Manchester United performance was quite unpredictable that we have seen often Manchester United lose against small teams and the latest is Manchester United have to lose from Nottingham Forest on boxing day and this result is really unexpected because most people predict they can able to beat Nottingham Forest

Tottenham performance also not quite different compared to Manchester United although their recent performance a bit better but their performance also decline and it make them have to out from top 4 and based on head to head statistics both teams can beat each other but recently Tottenham can improved their record because in the last 2 meetings Tottenham can gets 1 win and 1 draw so this is interesting who is the winner of this match but recently i have checked the odds and the bookmakers still placing Manchester United as the favourite

West ham were lucky to take a point yesterday because to be fair, Brighton was the better side. Brighton had three good chances to score but they were not successful. The absence of Kudus is showing impact already and they really need to build a squad and the bench as well. It's sad that Brighton played almost 80% of the ball and West ham sit at home comfortably defending. It's a good tactics to allow your opponent have the ball too and then you launch a counter. Brighton absolutely deserved the victory but unfortunately, the goal did not arrive despite many opportunities were created. It's a good game from them but luck was not there.

If we should mention a team that started this season in the Premier League, the team is Tottenham Hotspur. They started the season very well; they were even topping the standings at the start of the season, but they later slacked. They couldn’t handle the pressure from other big teams. However, the positions now go back to Arsenal.

Still unbelievable how Tottenham stylish slipped down from top four on the league table. Tottenham started the season very well with unbeaten streak without the impact of departed Harry Kane showing in the team. Unfortunately things started taking opposite direction after they lost to Chelsea in early November. It's new year and every club is expected to improve their squad during this January window and hopefully we might see wonders from some teams. Perhaps, they can fight hard to get a spot in top four before the season comes to an end.
