i thought liverpool for this season would be weaker due to the heartbreak it gave me last season but from what i see there is still hope liverpool can at least be in the top 3 this season, i'm still not convinced liverpool can beat the premier league this season


provisional results:

Aston villa 0 - 0 Newcastle

it's being a balanced game, I didn't watch every game, I just saw some parts because there are so many games that I have to watch a few minutes of each game  

but i hope aston villa manages to win

Brentford 0  - 0 crystal palace

as far as I can see Brentford is not being able to score goals, I have a bad feeling about this game, I'm afraid the crystal palace will win

Leeds 0 - 1 Everton

no comments, this result was expected for me and I hope it ends this way

City 2 - 0 Norwich

no big surprise

Jack Grealish gets his 1st goal for Manchester City!! Maybe he is worth the 100 million they paid for him? What a good build up play it was up until the goal. Norwich looks disheartened and lost out there. I think Manchester City will still win the league they are showing their quality out there and showing that the Tottenham result was just a one off.

What is the majestic 7? I have no heard of this before. Grealish has played well in both games for Manchester City he played well against Tottenham for his first game I just think other players around him were not performing on the day. I think if Manchester City do get Kane they will be unstoppable in the league they are looking good and if Grealish can continue this form I think he will be worth the 100 million they spent for him.

Everton lead Leeds 2-1 and look to be playing a lot more defensively now that they have gone ahead.

EDIT: moments after I said this Leeds score with Rafinha and now Leeds are looking the stronger of the two teams and really pushing for the winner.

The worst part is that Gabriel Jesus played from the beginning of the game until the end of the game and was unable to score 1 goal, well I see that if he is not scoring goals he will be replaced, but the city won in a comfortable way, of course the opponent was very weak and I feel sorry for norwich who will have to leave the premier league again for relegation that is shameful for them

For me, it was the expected performance. However, Everton won the first match and Leed United conceded a humiliating 5-1 defeat in the first leg. Yet the two teams are almost equally strong. They were also close to the point in the previous season. Both the teams performed well in the match.

Chelsea vs Arsenal is one of those matches with high expectations a whole lot would bet Chelsea straight win but I'm pretty sure lots of surprises would surface the match might end in a 1:1 draw because Arsenal is very much prepared for this very match. Going by the last matches of this two teams we saw a great improvement in Arsenal stars after the lost to Brentford

It is a matchday for Arsenal and Chelsea. It looks like Lacazette and Aubameyang won't be able to play in this match also. And this will weaken Arsenal a lot. I wonder whether the new transfer Martin Odegaard will be able to play in this match. But it will be his first match and it is not easy to adapt right away. In short, I see Chelsea being very advantageous here. With Tuchel, they are playing different and I believe in them to defeat Arsenal today.

I am waiting for the lineups to be sure but yes any team in the Premier League can throw you a surprise but if you are betting on the game every indicator is pointing to a Chelsea dominating win. Arsenal was terrible last weekend against one of the weakest teams in the Premier League. Arsenal are rumored to not have their 1st choice strikers today and Chelsea do not have any major injury concerns. The only positive for Arsenal going into this game is they will be playing at home which could sway some of the momentum their way but I still think Chelsea are going to score a lot of goals. 3-0.

I am strictly going for Chelsea, we all know how Arsenal are off and on though, Arsenal matches is one of the most difficult matches to predict in EPL, but going for over 1.5 has been fruitful for me in many occasions. They can try their best but most likely Arsenal will be defeated by Chelsea, but because Chelsea is away, I do not know what to predict than to go for over 1.5. Arsenal did not perform good at all, also their game is not predictable, that is why I have long ago not choose Arsenal straight win.

It is 2-0 already in favour of Chelsea, Arsenal will be lucky if the score sheet remain the same because from what i have seen in this first half, there are definitely more goals to come.

On the other hand, Is the premier League even ready for Lukaku? He is looking very formidable and efficient, his presence has really been a great influence on the other Chelsea players this first half.

I predict 4-1 in favour of Chelsea.

Lukaku for the golden boot this season? He showed today that he can dominate defenders at top teams. He still has the strength he had when he left the Premier League but now he is more intelligent and leaner. He looks a little faster and I think he will be a nightmare for every defense in the league. This Chelsea team is scary and I think it is only Manchester City that can compete with them.

Thoughts: .The Manutd outcome is a complete stunner!! The Saints were very impressive and were unlucky not to get all three points. If the right DM is not purchased, Manutd will have problems against a pressing team; Fred is not the man.

We all expected Chelsea to win, but Lukaku's first performance above my expectations; he was all over the Arsenal defense, creating space for Kai, Mount, and James; it was a match made in heaven, and he scored and received well-deserved plaudits from the Chelsea supporters.

A great win for Tottenham; Harry Kana made his first season appearance.

At last no more goals, even if there will be more goals likely Chelsea will score it, Arsenal as started the season in a weak manner, no single goal in two matches now, I have been thinking Chelsea will win Arsenal when even Brentford managed to win them last week with no single goal scored. Arsenal really need to work on its front side for good striking instead of what they are playing now. I know Arsenal to be unpredictable club, they will fight this and win later very well, but this time is really bad on them.

Yup..  Totally unexpected.  Lol.  In hindsight it was a trap line.  The bookies knew what’s going to happen when they lined the -1 for United at 1.97.  They knew!  But is the -1 vs the Wolves at 2.20 another trap line or did the books over adjust?  Solksjaer prolly knows they need to come back strong and win it if they wanna be contending for the league.  These are must win matches.

Please accept my apologies for not being active in the forum these past several days. There is a lot going on at the moment therefore I cannot frequent here as much as I would like to but I have to thank all EPL fans posting here especially igehhh for continuing the good work in this thread.

In the space of a few days days we jumped from around 5 votes to 17 votes in the Poll. I am not surprised Manchester City have the most votes but I would have thought Chelsea would have the second most but at the moment it is Manchester United.
