That is the thing with Warrington, he throws a lot of bombs but there are no power behind it. And he has a soft chin as well, due to the fact that he has been in a lot of wars, that's why when Leigh Wood touches it, you can see in his face that he is about to go down and he did. Although he was able to beat the count, he was in unsteady legs that's why the referee stop it.

Although in the post interview, Warrington was really confused as why he was not given a second chance by the referee. At least go to his corner.

Yes, sometimes we really don't know what will be the outcome of the fight. But since both fighters are really a warrior they go at it from the first round and it was a very good fight indeed. I would love to see unification fights at 126. I consider Robeisy as its #1, followed by Lopez, Wood, and Vargas. As for Wood, he mentioned that he would give Warrington a rematch if necessary. It's really possible knowing Warrington was winning the fight before the stoppage. I can feel that Inoue is moving up late next year, especially that all of the current champions are beatable.

And I can't believe you're using Boxrec for the rankings mate. I thought only casuals would use that. Boxrec sucks at rankings, they're horrible. I still use the bible of boxing (The Ring) but I mostly prefer the independent TBRB.

Zurdo-Smith was boring. I expected more from Smith but he seems heavy and is still adjusting in this division. But the division is boring indeed although I'm happy Okolie finally lost his belt. The only chance for the division to make waves again is to make unification fights. I got Jai beating them all.

It's really hard to say, I mean when he did go up in super bantamweight, it seems that we are seeing a different Casimero? Maybe because of his age? or the quality of his opponents? But we can't see this kind of controversy in a fighter though.

And if some string of bad luck has been following him. We thought that he can take out Oguni with a knockout, but what we witnessed? it was a draw. No one see that it will ended this way. So we really don't know who is to blame with this kind of result throughout Casimero superbantamweight career.  So with this kind of result, I don't think that Inoue will be interested on him.

This fight did nothing to move his career forward and from what he showed in these few rounds didn't convince me that he will ever be good enough to beat Inoue. At least he didn't take much damage and can come back quickly. He is still ranked high enough to fight in a title eliminator and become mandatory.

I have seen that as well Yukinori Oguni should be penalized because of it but because it is their home court Yukinori Oguni surely has an advantage in this, as you can see the referee is Japanese, unlike when the fight was in the Philippines for sure the Referee would come from a different race mostly a white guy for sure, and not a Filipino but for sure if that head butt didn't happen John Riel Casimero could win this,

That is an unfortunate result for both fighters but especially Casimero who is looking for a world title opportunity. This fight is to prove that he has a chance to fight Naoya Inoue judging that Yukinori Oguni did a great thing inside the ring we can not say for sure that Yukinori Oguni is still slow a fighter and for me, I didn't see the real John Riel Casimero inside the ring because the pace of his opponent was slow Casimero's movement was also slowed  I really don't know what happen but I really didn't see the old Casimero for sure he underestimated his opponent,

Though Casimero did land several blows to Oguni, it wasn't enough. Oguni just absorbed those punches and then Casimero spent all his might in the 1st round which I do believe he gassed out which seems to be obvious in the 2nd round. Somehow he hugged Oguni countless times.

It can't be enough to defeat Inoue. If it were Inoue he was fighting today, he would be knocked out.

This fight is to prove that he has a chance to fight Naoya Inoue judging that Yukinori Oguni did a great thing inside the ring we can not say for sure that Yukinori Oguni is still slow a fighter and for me, I didn't see the real John Riel Casimero inside the ring because the pace of his opponent was slow Casimero's movement was also slowed  I really don't know what happen but I really didn't see the old Casimero for sure he underestimated his opponent,

Though Casimero did land several blows to Oguni, it wasn't enough. Oguni just absorbed those punches and then Casimero spent all his might in the 1st round which I do believe he gassed out which seems to be obvious in the 2nd round. Somehow he hugged Oguni countless times.

It can't be enough to defeat Inoue. If it were Inoue he was fighting today, he would be knocked out.

The way he prepared for this fight is not enough if in case that he will be facing Inoue, he converted good solid punches in the first round but yes he hugs a lot in the 2nd and that might be the chance for the monster to bring him down and kiss the floor, we all know how good Inoue was if that kind of preparation fighting him, he just easily break that strategy and end the fight in the early rounds.

Let see if what will be the next destination for Casimero, both fights in this division ended up with a draw, not sure if that performance will attract fans to call the attention of Inoue's camp.
