I do not understand why people currently have an idea of thinking that the people who got accused are criminals before being proven. Yes, he got accused that he had paid to remove a loss from his carrier. But I don't think that has been proven yet. And until it gets proven, I don't think there is any reason to say that he actually did it. As far as I know, Everyone in the West believes in innocent until proven guilty right? One reason that I see why they do this is the marketing strategy. Put someone's name in the trend and you will trend too, then they will sell more tickets and PPV in the future.

Hopefully DAZN or even ESPN can carry the mantle after this sad news.

I haven't seen or watch the podcast of Teddy Atlas though but I don't think we need to blame the promoters. I'm not defending them, but still it works both ways. Networks like Showtime make money too depending on who is on the fight itself. So I do not see any analogy with ICO scammers, for me it's totally different.

Of course, promoters will have to make money and the Networks will have to balance itself. And the promoters then will have to satisfy their boxers, otherwise they might jump ship and go to other promoters. But yes, very sad news, but boxing is a business and we might see a new player like what DAZN.

And like the reply above you chance that it's also part of the marketing to bring more interested with the fighter's schedule fight to earn more ticket sales, but yeah, bringing someone down and killing his career that's something that needed to have solid proof and evidences before spreading bad news about the fighter, without the evidence the other party can sue you with libel case.

It's something that needed to make sure before posting it online where more people will see and will follow and most will believe with this negative criticism.

Since Showtime made an exclusive deal with PBC, the network sucked already. PBC most of the time is all about cherry-picking and nonsense PPVs. The most annoying memory I had was the times Danny Garcia headlined garbage fights before having the balls to fight with the other big names. And then at present, it is Tank Davis fighting tomato cans. One thing is clear though, Showtime and PBC have a solid casual community and fanbase.

I heard PBC is currently negotiating with Amazon Prime. There's also the chance that DAZN will partner with PBC.

Until now some people may still not really consider the importance and realness of the case experienced and accused of Devin Haney because now the fight between the two champions is getting closer and there is no clear development in the case.
But when it comes to mental theory problems like this will never cause Devin Haney to experience psychological problems that could affect his future fights.
Moreover Devin Haney has more significant advantage that Regis Prograis cannot have.

I am not sure how big Amazon Prime's reach and its ability to cater to PPVs but maybe they should force PBC to limit its PPVs, especially the unnecessary ones.

I am actually good with PBC being unable to reach a network deal so they can file a bankruptcy. Its fighters can then sign to other promoters and there will be less cherry-picking for them.

If DAZN accepts PBC, I hope Eddie Hearn has some access as well so it will be easier to make fights in between promotions. Maybe Tank will finally be forced to face Haney or Prograis.

And if PBC heads to DAZN joining Matchroom and Golden Boy, ESPN will be the only remaining network competitor in the US.

So much for the Rocha hype train, Lol, Santillan scored a 6th round KO win against Rocha. He started very quick, however, when Santillan got his rhythm, he scored multiple knock downs and Rocha wasn't able to recover in the 5th round although he try to rally but Santillan finished him in the next round.

I can compare Rocha to Victor Ortiz, he has the potential, but wasn't able to live to it because he has a glass chin. When someone touches it, Ortiz will just go down even though he has started the fight is blistering speed. So let's see now the potential of Santillan to be a contender in this division.

Another blow for Golden Boy, as they are building up Rocha to be their next big star.
